The host was very welcoming. The apartment had the most well equipped kitchen of any rental we've stayed in. The Wi-Fi stood up to two people working remote & two kids streaming & playing games with zero issues. We had a great stay!

The property is well maintained and quiet. All instructions Perry sent via text were very clear and concise. Very comfortable bed and all the right amenities were available. The property is 10-15 minutes from Florence, which is a great place to walk, get food, etc. Check out McFarland Park, right on the Tennessee River.

The property was very well kept and clean. The property was stocked with all housing amenities, which is very important on a family trip. Property owner was extremely helpful. Thank you for a wonderful visit!!

Outstanding fishing trip destination

The apartment is quiet and very clean, great communication from the owner, very easy to maneuver and park boat trailer to be plugged in overnight in a well lit secure area. Will definitely stay there the next time we go to PickWick.

Perfect get away

This property could not have been more perfect for my family. The cleanliness of this property I gave a five star rating just because the was not a ten. The check in, description of the property and communication with Mr. Burgess was so very easy and accurate. Close to everything you may want or need during your get away. If you need something clean, close to shopping for your vacation that want break the bank this is the place to be.

Great place

My stay was awesome. I stayed with two high school boys fishing the SAF Nationals. The place had great parking for truck and boat hooked up and outlets to plug in my boat every night. Mr Burgess was extremely nice and easy to get in touch with.

Great Place and Great People

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the beach theme and the layout was perfect for our big family. We were looking for a place to stay that didn't break the bank, but was big enough for our family of 8 to stay for 5 days without sitting on top of each other the whole time... Like we would have been if we were staying at a hotel! The Burgess' are great folks and so kind! We overall enjoyed our stay and will stay again, if ever need be!!!

A pleasure

It was a pleasure to stay here. The apartment was clean and everything worked great. There is a queen bunk-bed for several children (never seen that before) so having a separate room for them was really what we as a large family needed. And a full kitchen too. And we were able to put the baby in the pack n play in the large walk-in closet for better sleep for all. It was just great to have a cool place stay after a long day at the park in the Alabama heat! We would definitely stay with Perry and Etna again. They were very nice to us and to our kids. When our van broke down (on Sunday) the day before we left Perry was very accommodating.

Wonderful place and hosts

Very nice apartment that is separate from the main residence. Everything is new and very clean. Great for a weekend of fishing or a longer stay. It definitely would receive my wife's stamp of approval. Great boat parking that is well lit with very close electric outlets and hidden from the street. Host was great and communication was excellent. I hope to stay there again in the fall.

We built the garage apartment for the purpose of a VRBO rental; furnished with all the amenities of home to enable any traveler to feel relaxed and comfortable 😎. Our city is a great safe place to vacation. Our area has great fishing in nearby Tennessee River and unique tourist attractions to see. Robert Trent Jones Golf ⛳ Course and W.C. Handy home Museum. Handy music is celebrated each year, including a Handy Festival in July, Helen Keller Home Museum, her life is celebrated with a Festival in
June. Frank Lloyd Wright home museum is located in Florence, AL, and the famous Muscle Shoals Fame Recording Studio Museum. Enjoy great food and shopping. 🛍. Off street parking for cars, boats, and trailers is provided.
Our upstairs apartment offer great views of our community.
