EASTER CHURCH VISIT

I inquired prior to booking if the property had a shower and received a response that it did and proceeded to book for Easter weekend. My spouse and I arrived after driving several hours (after work). The unit didn't have a shower, it contains an attached hand held shower head like those used in beauty salon sinks. A person must be capable of holding the shower unit and simultaneously washing themselves. There's a reason I asked if a shower was in the bathroom and I was misinformed. The unit also had a un-aired dusty odor. We could not stay. We couldn't bathe and my allergies failed. We left the next day at 11:40 ..., I requested a partial refund for one day and a refund for the da6we didn't stay. I have not received my refund. I contacted the host immediately.

Terrific solution for an extended stay

I needed a place to stay for a month while awaiting my new home after closing while the tenant stayed to clean and get moved out. The place was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Peaceful and much better than staying in a noisy extended stay hotel. The price was also absolutely right with a discount for extended stay. Very grateful that I found Wendy and her nice apartment.

Dirty Deal

After driving a long distance we were tired and looking forward to a stay at an apartment where we could cook and relax between family visits. We realized as the night went on that the place was not cleaned properly. I took plenty of pics. Appliances filthy, cooked remnants of onion rings etc. in the oven, hair all over in the bathroom, bugs dead and alive all over the floors and window sills, spiders and webs on ceilings, there was even garbage in the wastebasket in the kitchen. I texted the owner that we moved out the next day and asked for a refund of all but two days plus half the fees, she refunded me two days and 0 fees and stopped responding to my texts. We are very disappointed that we didn't have the convenience of an apartment and had to move to a hotel, we had not planned on eating out the entire week. There was internet but no TV service except a Roku that had not been activated so there were 9 minute previews only, ridiculous! Shame on the owner for ripping us off like that. Live and learn.
