This was our second Thanksgiving at this home, though this year was a week after Thanksgiving to fit schedules. My husband and myself, a son and daughter-in-law and 4 children, and another son who is single. The nine of us are very comfortable in this house. The children have a bunk room close to their parents' room and a bathroom, our other son has his own room with bathroom nearby and we have our own suite also!! The great room is truly great in size and view, with a wall of windows to the South that look at the north side of Mt. Hood. The open kitchen, dining room and large family room with fireplace are all right there. There is an adjoining T.V. room on that south side, on the backside of the fireplace. The property, besides having a great view, is also wooded and the children love exploring with an adult who also likes to explore! The favorite place in the yard is the chairlift lawn swing facing the mountain. I sat out there myself just to soak up some November sunshine that came with the wonderful view! We also got to ride the Mt. Hood Railroad which had been cancelled last year! This house is way better than "grandma's house" for making great memories at Thanksgiving.
