This is a nice house. We liked it. However, there are some issues that need to be addressed. Anyone who rents the property during the winter should bring extra warm clothes for lounging, maybe an extra blanket and if they plan on cooking, good knives (and kitchen tongs).
The thermostat, which is located in the warmest part of the house, makes it so the home is not heated well. The large windows, with a beautiful view, are not insulated. It is very cold in that living room area (which is quite small - definitely not for 10 people).
Also, if one plans on skiing and then staying home at night (due to COVID) be sure to bring the right HDMI cables so you can connect your laptop to the TV. The TV stations are extremely limited so no movies, or ESPN, or CNN, etc. Under normal circumstances this wouldn't be a big deal, but during COVID we wanted to stay home and watch movies - not possible (unless you still travel with DVDs). Other homes we've rented over the past few years have smart TVs so we can log in to our own accounts. This is not a huge deal, typically, as we usually go out. But this year is different, of course.
The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water! It's a nice house - with a few updates and modernizing it could be an awesome rental.
