Prime Lake Location

This home is in a prime location on the east side of the peninsula with quick access to Knotty Pine Marina and Rec 1. The backyard is perfect for relaxing and watching the lake and the private dock is a must have for families wanting to swim with little ones. When the water is down there is a nice little beach to set up chairs and the layout of the house is perfect for multiple groups. The hosts are amazing and responsive. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be booking it again soon!

Ideal

As always, we had a wonderful stay at the cabin. We appreciate the yearly upgrades that are made and the beautiful view of the lake and Mt. Dyer. The grounds are nicely planted with grass and flowers. We use both front and rear decks and our Granddaughters love to read from the lower front deck swing. We had a great time and can't wait to return next summer.

AWESOME PLACE AND LOCTION

If your looking for a group of friends and their kids to stay. This is the place. Plenty of room, and private location. Neighbors to the east are little difficult, but will not ruin your time. Owners explain their expatiations, and are very responsive. I would definitely rent this place again.

Perfect water location!

This home is bigger than the pictures. The basement bedroom is a master suite with a living room and kitchen. If you like the cabin feel, this is it! Furniture could use some updating and garbage situation (haul your own garbage to dump) is a little frustrating but all in all this was a great home and we plan to return. We had 4 generations ranging from 4yrs-90yrs.

wonderful, enjoyable week

Absolutely a great week! Caught 5 salmon early mornings, late mornings and afternoons were skying and sky biscuit time. Early evenings were wine and deck sitting watching that fabulous lake. The cabin fits our family really well allowing the 8 of use to be together and yet allows room for individual space. The cabin is very well stocked and has lots of parking for our 4 cars. We really like the sitting area by the BBQ in the late afternoons. All of us were very sad to leave. We had a wonderful stay! We certainly plan on returning next year as long as they will have us.

Fantastic week!!

Cabin location on the water is exceptional with dock and buoy. Kitchen is well equiped with all cooking necessities and 2 refrigerators was great for so many people. Diana was very responsive to any questions we had. Hope to stay there again next year.

We love this cabin. Right on the water, AC works, lots of space. A little dated, but it’s a cabin, not a 5 star resort. Beautiful area and a lot of fun for everyone.

A wonderful time

We had such an enjoyable stay at your cabin. Everything in the cabin was in order and everything we wanted to do was accomplished in spite of the strange weather. Our Granddaughters made mini snowmen from the hail and we all loved the snowfall on Mt. Dyer. Despite the weather we were able to get out on the lake every day except one. This year we had a family movie night using the extra large surround sound TV. What a treat. Thank You for sharing your cabin with us and we would love to come back next year.

Peninsula Gem with Space

Our family was immediately impressed with the property when we arrived. The pictures do not do this place justice as we were expecting a small A-frame structure but we were amazed how spacious the home was. There were great outdoor spaces and great onsite parking. In addition, the terraced lawns leading down to the lake were great spaces for the kids to play without having to deal with a sloping lawn. We also appreciated the proximity to Rec 1 which was a nightly walk with the family. The hosts were super responsive to our questions and there were plenty of supplies in the kitchens...yes two of them! We will definitely be looking to see if this property is available the next time we travel out to the lake.

Perfect location on the water

This Lake Almanor rental was perfect for our family of 10. The lake access is perfect, with 2 grass areas in back leading to the dock. We brought a boat, wave runner, paddle boards, and floaties, it was so fun and relaxing. Our grandkids loved playing on the grass and swimming from the dock. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the 3 and 1/2 bathrooms made it very comfortable. The location, about 3/4 of a mile from Rec Area #1, made for an easy morning walk or bike ride with the grandkids. We are hoping to rent again next year.

Wonderful Property

We enjoyed the many areas of the home; Beautiful lawns that made it easy to find shade on the hot days, great dock for enjoying the water and excellent space inside allowing for gathering together or finding a quite space to relax. Can't wait to book it again!

Loved it just as much the second time!

We stayed here last year and Loved it just as much the second time! This property is a jewel because of the Beautiful tiered lawn leading into the lake and the private dock. Our family really enjoyed playing games on the shaded grass and the ease of accessing the boat from the private dock. The double A frame home is very comfortable to host 12 people with the kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook for the same. Our vacation at Lake Almanor was fantastic thanks to this stunning property!

Wonderful

What a wonderful experience! Beautiful view of the Lake and Mt. Dyer. The cabin was extremely well equipped and very spacious. The three lawns, rock steps to lake and dock with handrail were great. The Air Conditioner the last two days was fantastic. We hope to be invited to return next year.

900 Peninsula Drive

Beautiful house with multi tiered lawn sloping down to the private dock right on the lake, very pleasant to play lawn games in the late afternoons and evenings as it is shaded early in the day. So handy with a private dock mere steps from the house to load up the family for water sports! Very efficient air conditioning which was a life saver during the heatwave! The kitchen was very well stocked with kitchenware suitable for cooking for 12; Big sauce pans, large cookie sheets, tableservice and serving platters for 12 were all provided. The layout of the house is especially nice as there is 3 levels which allows a private space for everyone. The only thing I will say is one of the bedrooms has two single beds which are too short for two of our tall family members. In order to sleep 12 adults, I would suggest adding a sofa sleeper in the basement. Other than that, our stay couldn’t have been more fun at this beautiful property! June 2021

Almanor get away

3 generations grandparents, children and grandchildren, had a wonderful stay on the shore of Lake Almanor. The house was very comfortable with a nice dock and trampoline. We played on the lake and inside the roomy house. The grandchildren had virtual school classes and we able to find quiet corners to study. We stored up many good memories.

Family Friendly Cozy Lake Front Cabin

We had a total blast at this cozy quaint lake front cabin. The location was perfect with incredible access to the lake and country club. My kids swam, jumped on the trampoline, road their bikes down to play pickle ball and basketball and went on multiple boat runs a day with easy dock access to the boat. When we arrived we did one big store run in Chester at the holiday market. For the rest of the week we could safely ride our bikes to the store on Peninsula Drive for anything extra we needed during the week. The only day anyone left the house was to climb mount Lasson and ride mountain bikes down Hough mountain. The manager of the property answered all my questions and was easy to get a hold of if I needed anything. We can’t wait to come visit again!!!!!!!
