Great Family Beachhouse

The Salty Seahorse was a great beach house! Right on the water with plenty of beach during low tide. The house has a fantastic outdoor area with multiple fire pits, an outdoor kitchen and private sand area for kids. The house is well-appointed with kayaks, paddleboards and seating to enjoy the views. We would certainly return!

Relaxing in the Sun

This property was clean and had a multitude of amenities to both help us relax and keep us busy. The owners were immediately responsive to any concerns or questions we had throughout the week. A great stay and great people.

Wonderful Long Weekend at the Beach

This is a beautiful property with the ideal location right on the water. The home was clean and well stocked with everything you need and the owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Our family (including kids) had so much fun with the paddle boards, kayaks and hot tub! Great memories of a wonderful family vacation.

Amazing property!!

We had so much fun at the Salty Seahorse!! It’s such a beautiful home with so much character. We booked for our weekend weekend and were lucky enough to host immediate family for our rehearsal dinner and it was the perfect ambiance!!! The outdoor bar area was perfect for my husband to cook and still enjoy our guests and the fire pits were amazing!! Highly highly recommend for a relaxing and beautiful vacation!

Wonderful Getaway

The home was very nice and clean! My family had a great time enjoying a long weekend at the property. The beach is so nice and clean and we enjoyed using some of the water toys. I would definitely return to this property! The hosts were so nice and even got my mother a birthday card as we were celebrating her birthday. Thank you!

By the sea

Just spent a week at the Salty Seahorse. Loved being so close to the ocean. We were looking to relax and recharge and that is exactly what we were able to do. Everything we needed was provided for us. Thank you for such an enjoyable week. Kathy and Bruce

Beach stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. We had 6 adults for the week. The house has everything you need. Although there are many excellent restaurants near by we cooked on site every day. Nice outside bar, gas grill, wine refrigerator, paddle boards, gas fire pit, wood fire pit why would you need to go anywhere else. The house was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Highly recommend.

Lovely charming home couldnt be closer to beach.

Salty seahorse was very nice. Loved the large outdoor spaces and hot tub, could use some minor replacements outside but still very nice. Had everything you need inside. Master bedroom had remote dark shades and nature sounds to sleep to. Very nicely decorated with ocean theme. Location is close to everything and on dead end so very quiet. Owner very responsive. Area is also very pet friendly. Great rental.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Salty Seahorse! The accommodations were perfect for me and my husband and my two sons and their wives. So hard to believe that were only 45 minutes away. The weather for the week was perfect and the water was surprisingly still warm for swimming and walking out to Salt Island at low tide. We also enjoyed using the corn hole, outdoor fire pit, kayaks and paddle boards. Realizing that our stay was at the end of the summer season, the outdoor patio, carpets and outdoor furniture cushions needed some cleaning. We totally understand the toll of the salt water, wind & rain on the concrete and wood signage. The interior of the home however, was impeccable. The beachy decor inspired by the ocean and shoreline was throughout the entire home. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed although we did enjoy breakfasts at Christy's just up the street. Their variey of pancakes are incredible! Also not far from there is Bills Seafood which has awesome seafood, outdoor patio dining & entertainment ... and is known as the area's "Cheers". My husband and I are looking to move to the CT coastline and possibly Westbrook, so it was so nice to stay at the Salty Seahorse and get the feel for the area.Hoping we can stay again, unless of course we purchase a home in that area! - The Russell Crew

This isa wonderful place to stay in a great location.

We had a great time here. The house was nicely set up and there were kayaks we would use to paddle around the area. Salt Island, just offshore can be walked to during low tide and paddled to any time. The hot tub was set up for us and greatly enjoyed

Beach week

The description the owners give of this property are 100%-bedrooms with views and plenty of storage - best pantry for your food and any kitchen item you may require is available-living room comfy sectional for hanging out and dining area fits everyone- You walk in the Salty Seahorse and immediately feel the owners touch and thoughtfulness for their vrbo guests- This is the 3rd house we have stayed at on the stretch of beach and we now have found our forever beach week house! Already booked for next year! Thank you Erik and Jen for a fantastic week!

Great time in the Salty Seahorse

We had a lovely stay in Westbrook. the property was perfect for two one year olds to play in the sand and on the sandbars. We also totally enjoyed the bar!

Spectacular Beachfront Getaway

My family had an amazing time at this beautiful shoreline home right on the water! The house was immaculate, the central air worked perfectly, and the outside Salty Seahorse bar was massive and the best way to spend the evening grilling and hanging out with friends and family. We loved using their kayaks and SUP to visit Salt Island. Jen and Erik were excellent hosts and communicated immediately. My family could not have enjoyed our stay more! We can't wait to return.
