Relaxing and peaceful

It was a joy to get to escape from a high demanding job and get some peaceful time with nature! Gus and I enjoyed all the spots to sit and explore in the area! We got to do a scenic walk and enjoy a very cozy cabin. The family was very welcoming. Definitely using this as our getaway for the future!

Quiet getaway

Its all cute and cozy ut the location was not what we expected and the secluded pond was false advertisement. But we enjoyed the cabin vibe. It just give the vibes from the horror movie (Wrong Turn) when you get on the dirt road to the cabin. An also the television has no cable.

Great location in the woods

Enjoyed it but did have a few questions we’d have asked the host but we never got to speak with him. The kitchen was lacking in towels and we had to build a fire because of cool nights. No axe, no matches, or firewood apparent. If there was a heater we couldn’t find it. We enjoyed it. And it was great for our dog too. Tv in living room didn’t work well but the one in the bedroom was fine.

Door lock adjustments

Door lock needs to be changed to a different lock.. you can lock it but still unlock it from the outside by just turning the handle a couple of times. Other than that the stay was great.

Beautiful cabin Not maintained or cleaned

Cabin and property in general, are beautiful. The front door lock didn’t work. Dirty dishes in dishwasher, dirty cooking pot in sacks and bugs inside cabin no pest control. Trash not emptied in bathroom shower filthy with hair inside of it. Cabin not dusted. Fans were were caked with dust. Back door of cabin did not lock. Toilet dirty upon arrival. Refrigerator dirty. Very unsatisfied only reason we stayed was because we already paid and knew we weren’t going to get a refund. Otherwise, I would have walked in and walked right out and left. Spoke with property host and nothing was done.

Terrible experience

This property is not safe to stay in. Front door was broken and doesn’t lock, anybody could come into this secluded cabin where there’s not even service to call for help. The cabin is beyond dirty. The window cells, under the bed and under the couches have not been cleaned in a very long time as it is covered in dust and garbage. The power and water shut off in the middle of the night. We were staying with our two children and had to leave after 2 nights and stay in a hotel the rest of our vacation due to health and safety concerns.

Great cabin in the woods.

This was the perfect place for us. The groundskeeper was super accommodating as we arrived a bit early. He was very nice and made sure that we were comfortable. It was beautiful inside and out. We loved the seclusion, although it wasn’t very far from town. The kids absolutely loved fishing in the lake while we hung out on the beautiful back porch overlooking this enchanted property. In the evenings, we cooked and played games all piled up on the super comfy sofa. We will definitely be back!

Out-of-the-way retreat

We loved the seclusion of the property and the natural setting. Also appreciated the ability to have our dog stay with us. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots & pans, and a few spices. Cooking for Thanksgiving was a pleasure.

Cabin In the Woods

It is absolutely lovely. We had a great time. It was so peaceful and quiet. The cabin is very nice also. It's spacious and modern. Our 2 little dogs loved it too. They got to run around free.
