The cabin was a good choice. It had everything we needed. The Adirondacks were the perfect place to take hikes and enjoy the scenery. Lake George Village is nearby for shopping, dining and more great views.

Vacation

Was a nice wooded property away from people but extremely close to activities. Thoroughly enjoyes the house. Only thing was i had the impression it was closer to the lake. Was not far but not a good walk with small children. Overall was a great experience. The host was helpful with questions about the neighborhood and making recommendations.

Beautiful Getaway

This beautiful cabin was everything we were looking for. There was plenty of space, it was cozy and secluded, and there was plenty of resources left by the kind host. The kids loved the access to a couple of kayaks on the sunny days.

Great house with history. Perfect area for a motorcycle trip. Only negative is driveway is not suited for motorcycles. If your experienced as were 4 of my group were no problem. The others parked at top of driveway.

Wonderful Getaway

Family vacation

This was a nice place with plenty of room for our family to spread out. The association beach and the 2 kayaks were fun too. It was near a lot of family friendly hikes. The proximity to Lake George was great.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

The cabin was perfect. We loved having two separate sleeping areas since we had three families. The private beach area was an added bonus. Thanks to Eileen for being a great host.

Plenty of Beds

The house has two sleeping areas. The older section of the house has two bedrooms. The newer section has 3 bedrooms plus the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, laundry room, and garage. The house is well equippe.d. Our family had a fun time at the beach on a small lake nearby. Lake George, Queensbury, and Glens Falls are a short drive from the house. Our host was very helpful and attentive.

Comfortable cozy cabin

This was a family get together of 7 adults. There was more than enough room to comfortably fit us all. We had a wonderful time. It’s definitely located in a great area where you can see and experience a lot. Eileen was great in getting back to me with answers to my questions. She also offered info on where to go and what to see. I would definitely recommend her place.

Lake Luzerne Cabin

Great cabin in the woods. Very clean and neat. Super relaxing and comfortable. Very easy access to Lake George and all the activities there. Check out the nearby rodeo if it's during their season. A very enjoyable surprise.

Lake Lucerne

The property was located within walking distance of a lake and small beach area. We were in short driving distance of downtown Lake George. We found the property very relaxing and comfortable for our family. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for lake george and surrounding area

We went a large party of 12 people and it was perfect. Not only did each person have a room to sleep in but their own bed as well. The area is perfect with a secluded lake within walking distance and a very short drive to lake george. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone interested in the area.

Quiet Cabin Adventure

Our family of 7 adults spent the week at this rustic cabin. Cabin has amazing history, views and charm. We enjoyed the quiet nights in the woods and the close proximity to LG village! The Purcell family were so inviting with a welcome letter and a bottle of wine! Directions and instructions were very clear and concise! We would highly recommend this property!

Delightful Cabin

Wonderful week in delightful cabin with a mixture of old and new, all updated and in great condition. Comfortable for the six of us senior friends (stairs included). Loads to do in the area and easy to access fun and food. Rainy days were comfortable in the cabin. We would be happy to return to this location with the great host again.

Beautiful cabin, peaceful area

The cabin was beautiful but the road and driveway were a bit tricky to maneuver with the trailer though we did manage. I rated cleanliness as a 3 mostly due to the cobwebs inside some of the kitchen cabinets as well as the window sills. There were also candy wrappers on the floor in one of the bedrooms. However, the floors, counter, bathrooms and refrigerator were very clean. I found the mattress in the King room very comfortable but my friends in the rooms on the other side with the full and twin beds were not comfortable at all. The furniture in the living room was also very uncomfortable and could use to be updated. One note on the listing. It lists this as a 6 bedroom house, but there are only 5. We had couples that had to share a room, but thankfully there were enough beds for all. Overall it was a great space to hang out at night and plenty roomy enough for all of us!

Beautiful Cabin in the woods

Very beautiful cabin we had a wonderful vacation . The only 2 issues we had were the pictures of the front yard do not really show how it really is the front parking is all sloped down hill and I was disappointed that there was not a first floor bedroom for my elderly mother but that was my fault for not asking . But overall the home is very beautiful and we had very good communication with the owner.

Great mix of rustic charm and modern amenities

When arriving you feel like you’re in a cabin tucked in the woods. Then going inside you see great craftsmanship of the stairs, the walls and more. You’ll also find more modernization like updated bathrooms and Wifi. Access to a peaceful lake with kayaks is a bonus. All that and you’re a short ride away from Lake George. Plus great communication when we had any questions. Would recommend and stay again.

Cabin Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is the perfect cabin for an extended family to stay. We had my husband, two sons, and daughter-in-law, my sister, her husband, their son, daughter, and son-in-saw, and my brother and his wife stay and we had more than enough room! I would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends. Also, Eileen, the owner, greeted us with a text, and was very easy to contact. Many thanks again Eileen, from our family to yours!!

It was a nice "get away from it all" vacation. The only drawback was the lack of cellphone service at the house. Otherwise, everything was as described.

New York Family Vacation.

Our stay at this cabin was awesome. Plenty of room to enjoy playing games and we even had a karoke night. It was very easy to find and the mountain air was refreshing. Eileen was quick to respond to us and so hospitable. We would recommend this cabin to others. We had a wonderful week.

Lake George family vacation

It was much more then we expected. The pictures didn't do it justice. It was a beautiful home,very clean and spacious.Also in a great location,close to everything but very private. I would recommend it to anyone. Julie Grossmann

HI I'm Eileen. I have been enjoying this cabin my entire life- as did my Dad and my great aunts. My kids are the 4th generation to enjoy Lake Luzerne area and the Adirondacks. My husband and I recently completed a major years long renovation on our cabin, adding all the amenities of modern life. We just love it here!
