Jane was an amazing host! She made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat. There was drinks, snacks, and breakfast items in the kitchen that were tasty! Her dog is adorable and sweet! The yoga class on Sat morning was amazing and peaceful. We loved staying here and will spread the word. My bf had a great birthday weekend!

Just Perfect

I have put off reviewing our stay because I wanted to give it the attention it deserves! Everything about Bleubird was PERFECT for my 15-year-old daughter and I. We stayed for 11 nights and hated to leave. We were in town for a horse show, which entailed some grueling, long days. The return “home” was always a delight - very clean, comfortable, quiet, peaceful, even a little indulgent (we found Jane’s stash of Lindor chocolate bars). Jane is the ultimate hostess - showed us every detail at 10 pm on the night we arrived from a long day on the road. She told us to “open every cabinet and drawer” - truly wanted us to make ourselves at home. When the washer needed repair, she communicated with me via text on when it would be completed. Jane invited us to attend an art show event on property as well as yoga class. The property is beautiful - you sit on the front porch overlooking an expansive lawn. Out the back is a picturesque farm with old barn - quintessential Kentucky. It’s a very short walk a block down the hill to the shops and restaurants of Georgetown. I was so proud of our VRBO find that I brought several other moms/daughters from our equestrian team back to the house to see it and meet Jane. We always felt safe. There are fresh flowers galore. A kitchenette with farmhouse sink overlooking bird feeders in the yard. The decor is whimsical and appealing. Jane and her dog Sandi always pop out of the downstairs kitchen to greet you. We are coming back.

Perfect!!

So beautiful and everything was just perfect! Jane is a very nice lady and has thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay at her place. Lots of little extra things that you don’t usually get at other places. We loved it and would highly recommend staying with her and her sweet pup, Sandy:)

The BEST stay ever!!

Beautiful, charming home away from home. So happy we chose this over a hotel. Walking distance to wonderful food. Close drive to our event. Owner is so welcoming and friendly and added many thoughtful touches that made our stay even more special. Would give 10 stars if I could. Will definitely be back.

We had a great stay. Highlights were the extremely comfy bed, the gorgeous bedding and friendly host with her friendly pup. Would definitely stay there again. Also, great location—close to town but far enough away for a more serene vibe.

Relaxing stay in horse country.

The property is spotless and well-appointed. It’s an easy drive to the horse farms and Keeneland, and it’s a little farther to Mammoth Cave but worth it!

Beautiful suite and great location!!

We stayed three nights on our move from Iowa to Virginia and loved every minute of our stay. Jane (and Sandy, her sweet dog) met us when we arrived and took us on a tour of her lovely home (which includes a yoga studio, a professional kitchen, an art gallery showcasing local artists, and a top-floor lookout from which you can see much of Georgetown). The two suites are on the second floor, as well as the kitchen which is shared by the two suites. Both suites have a private ensuite bathroom, and a large walk-in closet, and doors leading to the shared front porch, which is a great place to sit and have a glass of wine, or a sip of bourbon. Our bed was so comfortable that we chose to sleep in both mornings, and had a late complimentary continental breakfast. The breakfast included English muffins and bagels with butter, cream cheese, and jams; fresh fruit, milk, coffee, tea or juice. There was also wine in the fridge, which Jane so graciously offered to us. The inn is in Georgetown, and in a great location from which to walk into the town or drive to the many distilleries, wineries, historic sights or the horse farms in the area. We went to two different distilleries, a horse farm and some historical sights, and all were within 25 minutes. We also walked into town and went to Chocomania, a sweet shop that sells chocolates, Italian gelato, pastries, cookies and cakes. If you want to visit the area, look no further than Jane's VRBO suites--you will be glad you did!

Jane and the Bluebird Studio / Suites were amazing!!! Quiet, comfortable, super clean, great location, and a host who provided amenities we are not accustomed to receiving. We did have the place/balcony to ourselves which helped with privacy but even if we had a suite neighbor my review of this immaculate stay would not change.

The owner will be available during all hours. The owner lives on the premise with a friendly non shedding labradoodle.

Escape to the Kentucky countryside and stay at this picturesque getaway! Bleubird is a new three-story grand home with two 2 guest rooms and a fitness yoga / Pilates studio. There is all new furniture in the two private guest rooms and en suite (private) baths. There is a balcony porch overlooking beautiful views of country land and downtown Georgetown. This booking includes 1 bedroom and 1 queen size bed that sleeps up to 2 people. Rooms are available to be rented separately or together through separate Vrbo bookings. Bedroom has coded digital lock and independent access. You can also book your private yoga experience at Bleubird studio through Vrbo experience or upon arrival. Bleubird offers yoga and pilates classes and has an art gallery on the first floor. There is a second floor kitchenette for guests, including a table and chairs, a full size refrigerator, washer and dryer, travelers guide, wifi, and continental breakfast on request. Inside the well-appointed home, you’ll have everything needed to share quality time and relax after days of sightseeing. Several beautiful parks and the vibrant cities of Lexington and Frankfort are located nearby! Located 5 miles from the Kentucky horse park and 12 miles from the Keeneland racetrack. Located 1 mile from Georgetown College and 18 miles from University of Kentucky. Amazing restaurants and shops in the downtown area within walking distance from the home.
