beach & walking break

House was comfortable and practical, felt like a family home. As others have noted, bring everything that is essential to you as kitchen equipment is sparse - especially if your group is large. I don’t understand why a little soap is provided… Anyway we had a lovely stay.

Great spot and lovely to be able to take the dogs with us

Whilst a bit dated and with a few issues, overall this was a good option given we had children and dogs with us. The floors etc were all dog friendly. Might have to review the steps for us older types but we managed fine. We had both warm and cool weather and the property worked well in both.

Great location but needs a bit of work

Fantastic location and great price for the house size but is a little run down - needs a bit of love to make it more homely. The x2 main beds are queen (not double as it states on advertisement), the tv reception is not great unless you only want to watch ABC and you need to bring most things like tea towels, soap, salt/pepper etc. but we had a great time and would consider returning!

Short stay

Honestly this place did not live up to the standards i was expecting, the first problem we found was the BBQ that was there, it was incredibly rusty and took way too long to clean, the second problem was the outdoor eating area was unusable, the table and chairs were rotting and part of then had already fallen off, the third problem was the driveway there was a significant amount of moss growing and made 2 of the group staying with me to slip on it, the final problem im adding is the top floor constantly felt like a sauna, no air conditioner up there and no real airflow going upstairs from downstairs where the only AC unit was

Batemans Bay Stay

The place is lovely & provides all you need, thou must bring own bedding. Need to trim hedges in driveway so cars don't get scratched. Need warm heating for upstairs in winter. Overall the property is very clean, and has lots of space for a group of people and nice for a couples weekend away. Short stroll to the beach which is really nice.

There were lots to like about this place. Very close to a dog friendly beach. However there was virtually nothing at the house except toilet paper. All fine if I knew this before hand I could have bought stuff with me

Our stay at Surf Beach

Home was clean & tidy. Some simple easy to fix suggestions for a better ''first impression''. - mattress protectors, pillows and pillow protectors need replacing as they are worn, stained and dirty. - some blankets need replacing - wi fi provided -coffeee/small table on front deck needs replacing

Good for family with pet

Excellent location 5 min walk to range of beaches both dog friendly and normal, walking tracks, supermarket and beach cafe for morning coffee. Dogs hilarious on Wimbie Beach, enjoying meeting other families out with dogs. Swimming good at Wimbie, clean, sandy, shallow beach. House a bit dark (80s timber style inside) tired and worn rental but perfectly ok for what we were after.

cancelled stay because of fires

I have contacted the property managers to request a refund becasue of being unable to visit Surf beach during last week Star ratings not applicable as we did not stay at the house because the town was affected by fires. The Government and RFS declared it unsafe to visit and we therefore arranged alternate accommodation. The booking agent has not yet confirmed a refund. Could you please follow up? Thanks David
