The pace slows down, the lake gets wonderfully quiet, and the shoreline comes alive with beautiful fall colors. There’s just something about heading out on the pontoon on a crisp autumn afternoon with hardly anyone else on the water, then coming back as the temperature drops and sinking into the hot tub. Add in the peaceful mornings and cool evenings by the lake, and it’s a completely different experience from summer—and one of our absolute favorite times to be there. Thank you for the 8/10 review and for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear the adults enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and that the lake views—with swans and ducks—added to your stay. It’s also great to know the bedrooms were comfortable and worked well for sleeping. We appreciate the suggestion about adding scissors to the kitchen—thank you for pointing that out, as guest feedback helps us fine-tune the details. While the weather didn’t cooperate for pontoon time on this visit, we’re glad you still found the home a good fit for an extended family getaway. Watching the lake in all its beauty. Muskegon has so much to offer as well, from the winter sports complex, speeding down the luge, or enjoying many of the world class restaurants there is always something to do.
