Very nice cottage on the beach

This property is exactly what it states in the advertisement. It is a quaint cottage on the beach. The cottage reminded my wife of the ones her family had on the sound while she was growing up. She really enjoyed the views and walks on the beach. The cottage was clean and we enjoyed eating in the screened in porch with the views. The owner was great and very responsive. We would stay here again on future trips to the north fork visiting my wife's family.

Perfect North Fork Getaway

We had an amazing stay here. The location was perfect, you couldn't be any closer to the beach if you tried and the entire neighborhood was charming. The house itself was perfectly functional and suited the needs of our family group. The extra fridge on the porch was a nice bonus and we loved the outdoor shower. While the house could use some updates, it was cute, quirky and clean and had everything we needed. We don't come to the North Fork to stay inside, and the outside of the house with the beach, the garden, the large deck, and the view was a wonderful place to spend time with family. We would absolutely come back, thanks for sharing this wonderful place with us!

Location, location, location

We had a great week at Joe’s property- the large deck leading down to the beautiful, sandy, bay beach was perfect for our family trip, which included toddlers, parents, and grandparents. The calm and shallow waters of the bay beach allowed our toddlers to play and splash around while we watched from the sand and grandparents enjoyed the view from the shade on the deck. The pictures are accurate, and, while parts of the home are dated, the home is clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for the amazing beach and convenient location.

Awesome private beach

Truly loved the experience. The rooms get a bit toasty, so recommend keeping the windows and blinds shut upstairs during the day. My girlfriends and I slept comfortably. The deck was LARGE and the outdoor shower was so convenient.

Not luxurious but nice waterfront view.

The check in process was seamless and easy. Although the waterfront view is great, the house itself needs updating. If you’re looking for luxury accommodations, this is not the place for you. Because I like clean and modern, I would not go back. However if your main goal is a great view in a serene setting, this would fit the bill.

Even on rainy days we spend time together in the house or meandering the nearby neighborhoods like Mattituck (check out Love Lane! 😍), Greenport, and downtown Riverhead at Long Island's largest aquarium. We started hosting our home to other families and I love hearing about the great times you have. Our neighborhood is a private and quiet terrace with beautiful beaches and friendly people. The sunrise and sunsets are immaculate, looking over the water as it's calm and glass-like is an unforgettable moment.

Skip the crowds and soak up the sun on your private beach that's only a few steps from the front door. We can fit your whole family (sleeps 10 comfortably) and have recently child-proofed everything so my granddaughter can enjoy the home while my son and daughter in-law do the same.
