Beautiful location, and the cabin itself was neat and clean. However, there were a few important details that weren’t clearly communicated or advertised beforehand. Most notably, there is no Wi-Fi, and cell service is very limited for most carriers in the area. If staying connected is important to you, this cabin may not be ideal.Another issue was the neighborhood gate, which locks after 11 PM. This curfew was a bit frustrating, especially since we took our kids to a rodeo and needed to return late. We had to contact the host in advance to ensure we could get back in, and even then, we were told there was no guarantee. While not a major inconvenience, it did add some stress to our plans.The checkout process also felt a bit excessive from a cleaning standpoint, especially compared to other VRBOs that also charge a separate cleaning fee.Overall, it was a good stay. The kids had a great time, the sunsets were beautiful, and there’s so much to do in the area.

Cute cabin in the woods

The cabin was cute, but dated. Old furniture and appliances. Fridges didn't keep food as cold as we would have preferred. Tv's didn't work. Mattress pad had large stains on it that was noticed upon removing sheets to check out. Patio cushions were very worn and had seen better days. Everyone had a great time still. The lake that are in the area are private and we couldn't use them which was a bummer:(

Cozy spot for Christmas

The cabin was the perfect size for our family. We had plenty of space for everyone, but yet it still felt cozy. When we arrived, there was a Christmas tree set up, which we had not expected. The area felt very remote and private, with all the trees and hills. We would LOVE to come back!

Great Vacation! Perfect Winter Wonderland!

We had the best time at this cabin! It is our third time staying here. We loved sledding and being in a warm cabin. 4x4 is a must in winter months!

Great place for large groups

We gad a family reunion and there was plenty of room, we slept 17 people in cabin and played games with 38. We would rent this cabin again. Everything was great except 2 small issues 1 ABSOLUTELY NO WIFI this made it difficult for people to use their phones because the service area is poor and the other was we had 5 cars and it was difficult to park them all not on the street especially when one vehicle needed to leave other than these two minor inconvenience s it was amazing

Wedding Event Stay

Our close friend’s daughter had her wedding at Timber Moose Lodge and we were looking for a place close to the Lodge. This place was fantastic! Had all the comforts of home and so peaceful and quiet. The host was great to work with and the stay was great.

Great place for a friends getaway.

The cabin was wonderful with lots of space for our group. My only complaint was the bed in the "master" bedroom off the kitchen was very uncomfortable. Also, the stripping and making up the beds after use is not something you normally want to do on vacation. Other than that we had a great time. Great location.

Wonderful weekend at the cabin!

My grandsons from age 5-8 were expecting a small cabin in the woods. When they came inside the cabin, they ran from room to room shouting THIS CABIN IS HUGE, we love it. Our family had a wonderful weekend that will be remembered.

First cabin in the mountains for us!

My husband found this cabin on vrbo and we really enjoyed our stay here. We saw wildlife and enjoyed the spacious atmosphere throughout the cabin. We had lots of room to spread out and get comfy. The kids LOVED the ping pong /pool table. The one negative (the only thing and why I gave 4 stars) to us was having all of the cleaning requirements at check out. I mean, I totally get taking out the trash and leaving the place the way you found it but having us strip the sheets and remake all the beds and then empty the dishwasher after putting the last load in was a bit crazy considering we paid $$$ (not allowed to put the amt) for the cleaning fee. We are clean people and have no problem cleaning up after ourselves but that's a steep cleaning fee. The window sills and blinds were really dusty and definitely needed a good cleaning. Overall, we all had a great time and made some wonderful memories. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Nice location

The wildlife watching was fantastic. Animals from the deck - we didn't have to travel to see multiple deer and moose. That cabin itself could use a bit of updating. The carpet and mattresses appear to be original to the cabin, and could certainly use a re-fresh. But the peace and solitude were worth it!

The Great Getaway

Very nice cabin on a beautiful lot. The temperature was typically 10 deg cooler than along the Wasatch Front. The family had a good time and enjoyed by all. A deer and moose visited us nearly every day. Only downside, all the kids left early and it took us 4 hours to clean the cabin.

Family Getaway

What a beautiful cabin! The owners were so great to accommodate our needs. Thank you!

We loved this property! Had everything we needed and more. The kids especially loved the ping pong and pool table. Lots of wildlife (two moose, beaver, squirrels, and ducks) and many fun memories made this weekend with family. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We’ll definitely be back!

Christmas Break Round 2

We came back for a 2nd time to stay the second half of our Christmas Break. We again had a blast playing games and sledding. We loved 3 floors to spread out, but also to have places to gather. Grateful for a well stocked kitchen with every pot and plate we needed. Hosts were easy to communicate with and everything was clean. A great place to “get away” from Salt Lake. Thanks again. We will be back!

Birthday Weekend

Beautiful property, near multiple recreation areas. Our family had a great time celebrating our grandson’s birthday hiking, fishing and enjoyed water activities at Deer Creek Reservoir. The kids loved watching the wildlife near and around the cabin.

A Fun Family getaway to the mountains

This is a very beautiful cabin that is located in a great location up in the mountains by Heber city, UT. It was great to get a way to cooler weather. There were very comfortable beds and it is very clean and organized. We had 15 people and everyone had plenty of room and it was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Ideal weekend

Had a great little getaway. Cabin was a perfect place for us to recharge and reconnect as a family. Location made it so we could easily get back in the groove of life and a restful and relaxing weekend.
