A Character Villa with Private Heated Pool

Casa Cassandra is a character villa built in a typical Algarvian style with original tiled floors and wooden beam and cane ceilings. This is a homely, well furnished, fully equipped villa with 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a heated pool. All bedrooms have air-conditioning which also doubles up as heating. Wi-fi internet connection provided. The windows are double glazed with secure shutters and the there is an alarm. Kitchen has all necessary appliances inc washing machine and granite worktops. The villa is surrounded by a mature garden and enclosed by hedging/fencing offering privacy and security. Its feature is its excellent position on top of the hill overlooking Carvoeiro, 800m from the town centre and the nearest beach. Carvoeiro itself is an old fishing village grown into a small residential seaside town with a lot to offer: beaches, restaurants, bars, shops, golf, tennis and other outdoor activities and sports - all without high-risers or big apartment blocks.

We really enjoyed out stay at Casa Cassandra, excellent location, walking distance to restaurants and a small supermarket. Short drive to Intermarché. we were greeted on arrival and everything was explained well. Beds comfortable and all amenities provided, pool lovely and warm. (We paid additional for heating). Our only negative was the amount of chlorine in the pool, it bleached our swimwear and was too strong for the little ones skin, they still enjoyed it but we had to limit the time and shower well afterwards. Would return if pool less chlorinated.

Magnifique villa

Villa avec beaucoup de charme très bien située à carvoeiro,très bien équipée et très propre à notre arrivé,un vrai plaisir pour se reposer et profiter des alentours.La propriétaire des lieux est une femme charmante et prévenante,nous n’hésiterons pas à y repasser un prochain séjour.

Lovely traditional villa, everything you may need

We stay every year at this villa, it is clean, location is great, owner is marvellous, pool beautiful, we couldn't ask for more. Absolutely nothing negative to say about it, just 5 mins walk to restaurants and beach closeby if you want it.

Enjoyable holiday in an ideal location

The villa is perfectly situated for all the amenities in Carvoeiro plus the many coastal walks on the doorstep. We spent two weeks here and did not need to hire a car. The villa has everything required, plus an excellent pool, which we felt needed heated to use in early May. The pool heating was very effective and the pool was cleaned twice during our stay. There are an abundance of very good restaurants within easy walking distance. A perfect spot if you want a quiet relaxing holiday.

Brilliant, even better than the pics show

Sam and the staff are great and the villa plot is huge. The one downside was without paying the £150 pool heating bill we found the pool on the cold side but it was money well spent as the pool was superb. The town was superb and there was a little supermarket and restaurants just 200 yards from the villa which was extremely helpful. We will possibly be back, highly recommend

Wonderful private villa

We fully enjoyed our stay in Casa Cassandra, a real home from home. The villa has everything you need and amples of private space. We paid extra for pool heating and in April it was worth it allowing many hours enjoyment in the pool. There is loads of outside space, dining areas and sunbeds. The gardens are immaculately maintained and the roof terrace is a wonderful suntrap in the evening. The villa is in an excellent area away from the noise but in walking distance of many restaurants and pubs. The villa felt very secure with a safety deposit box, electric gates and an easy to use alarm system. Sam is lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful Holiday

Our second visit to Casa Cassandra - everything as we remembered. As before, perfectly maintained and a home from home. An upgraded ensuite and new flooring throughout just added to our experience. The location could not be better. All facilities, restaurants and beach within easy walking distance (no need for a car) ; the most difficult thing was dragging our children away from the pool!! We are already looking forward to a return visit. Thanks again Sam.

Lovely villa in a great location

First time in Portugal and our stay in this villa was lovely, villa has all that you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Arriving on a late flight Sam had arranged for basics bread, milk and ham etc to be in the villa. Villa is in an amazing location at the top of restaurant hill and feels very secure. Very clean and looked after by pool guy etc. Only negative for me was the travel cot provided was very uncomfortable so if goin again I would bring my own

Fantastic!

I would not hesitate in recommending this villa to anyone. It is so well equipped and so close to Carvoeiros many shops and restaurants. For the first time ever we didn't hire a car and we didn't miss it a bit! We had the most relaxing two weeks just lounging by the pool. Even though the villa is close to shops/restaurants/roads it is still very private and tranquil. The villa itself is very charming, I don't think the pictures do it full justice. Hope very much to return.

Great holiday with the family

Thank you Sam we had a brilliant time at your villa, it was very well equipped and very clean and ideally situated for walking to beach and restaurants. Security was good, all windows and doors had shutters and alarmed when we left the villa. This was important to us as we had our grandson with us and everything was child friendly. 'STUNNING VILLA, HOME FROM HOME'

After another stay at my No.1 favourite villa in Carvoeiro, I thought it was about time I let everyone else know! Location superb could not be better, we always hire a car but it is not really necessary as it did not leave the drive till time to depart, but was there if we needed it on the driveway that would fit 3 small cars in required. The facilities in the villa are top class with all needs catered for. The layout of Cassandra is perfect for families or up to 3 couples, the bathroom which is pictured has now been updated to include a walk in shower, ideal for anyone with mobility problems. Super pool without lovely bbq area and outside eating areas, comfy sunbeds to make the most of the Algarve sunshine. Another bonus is not having to pack beach towels as these are provided (more room for clothes:-) The 1st villa we stayed at more than 10 years ago we had to buy wine glasses as not provided, absolutely not an issue here, Sam has covered everything and maintained Cassandra to a very high standard. I would recommend Cassandra (and have) to anyone looking for a perfect holiday to the Algarve, Carvoeiro is the perfect resort, packed with many top class restaurants to cater for all tastes. - Thankyou Carrs Villas

"Ticked all the boxes"!

Wonderful villa, equipped to an excellent standard. The property has been well maintained and is located within easy walking distance of the Main Street in Carvoeiro but surprisingly, does not suffer from any associated noise issues. One of the best villas we have ever rented for all round comfort, equipment, pool and general "feel good factor".

Amazing holiday home!

We had the most amazing holiday in Casa Cassandra. The villa has everything you could possibly want and is in a great spot just outside the main town. We were incredibly comfortable staying at the villa and enjoying the pool but also ventured down to Carvoeiro. It's a lovely town with many wonderful restaurants. The beach is nice but small. There are other beaches close by which have more room. You don't need a car while you are there, but having one gives you more flexibility to visit further afield. Having said that the taxi's aren't expensive. We had a wonderful 2 weeks. Thank you, Sam for making us so welcome. We will definitely return...

Just Great

The Villa was really comfortable, very well equipped and both villa and pool regularly cleaned. It has spacious patios on all 4 sides and on the roof, and a lovely BBQ terrace, complete with power and lamps. Ideal location a short walk from the town centre and several beaches. Great holiday thank you, we did not want to go home.

I purchased my first villa in the Algarve in 1996/1997. After having seen dozens of different villas along the Algarvian coast up to Burgau, west of Lagos, I fell in love with the town of Carvoeiro and its "small seaside town" atmosphere and charm. The town centre is small but it has everything to offer: shops, banks, pharmacy, numerous restaurants and plenty of bars and cafes and of course sandy beaches.
I moved to live permanently in the Algarve in 2000 leaving behind a busy career in the City in London and to set up a villa management business.
I look forward to welcoming you in the villa.
