HILLTOP VILLA - PRIVATE LARGE POOL & STUNNING VIEWS & GREAT LOCATION & FREE WIFI

Quinta da Altura means “Top of the Hill Villa”, that is where you will exactly find the villa and is situated on the centre of the Algarve, close to everything you need (beaches, shops, golf courses, water theme parks, restaurants, shopping centre, and much more). Positioned on a hilltop, this charming villa is a great escape for a family or a group of friends comfortably sleeping 6 people (3 bedrooms) and one cot is also available, if needed.
On the first-floor guests can find a double bedroom (blue bedroom), toilet (wc) and a balcony area with table and chairs, so they can sit down and enjoy the magnificent views of the Amendoeira Golf Resort.
Ground floor: one bedroom with two single beds (purple bedroom), one double bedroom (green bedroom), two bathrooms with shower and one information room, where guests can sit down and look at all the leaflets, cards, books and other information’s regards to the villa and the area. There are also on ground floor a spacious overlooking the beautiful views living room with sofa, TV, a fireplace and a fitted kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances for the sole use of the guests.
The property stays cool in the summer heat as it has thick walls and excellent insulation; however fans are provided during guests stay. The property also provides free and unlimited WI-FI access and has solar panels which keeps the water hot longer.
The villa is situated on a private and peaceful location, completely fenced and gated entrance with parking space. Has an amazing outside space with stunning views, a large covered BBQ seating area and a large pool for sole use of the guests with under water lighting (amazing at night). The villa also has an outdoor shower, grassy areas/green areas around the property, outside toilet, play areas and surrounding you can find oranges, lemons, olives, carobs trees and much more. Close by the villa there is a small area with a range of different animals (small size) that guests can interact with, if they wish so. Great fun for the children as they can feed the chicken, ducks, rabbits, etc. There is around of this area a small play area for kids as well.
At night, the villa is well illuminated and has a viewing area, where guests can sit down and relax.
Quinta da Altura is the perfect place for relaxation, where guests can sit by the pool and enjoy the wonderful view to the Amendoeiras Golf courses, the sea and the mountains of Monchique. It is recommended that guests hire a car. The nearest towns are Silves, Armação de Pêra, Albufeira, Carvoeiro and Portimão. The beach that is closest to the villa (about 10min by car) stretches from Armação de Pêra to Galé in Albufeira. It is the largest stretch of sand in the central Algarve. There is a train station about 1km from the villa, you can visit Lagos or Faro by train.

The property is amazing location with wonderful views, it was perfect for our family holiday. Laura & Reuben were very welcoming and all the finishing touches within the property made us feel at home. The villa was spotless and the pool cleaned every day. We all had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. We hope to go back soon!

An amazing home! This family cares about their property and want you to enjoy it as they do. We appreciated their warm welcome, suggestions of great places to eat, where to buy food, fresh fish market and baked local bread and treats. Would highly recommend as very clean, private location!! Pool was an amazing bonus coming home to relax in the sun after a long day of sight seeing was a treat!! We left feeling relaxed and can't wait to return!!

Looking for a peaceful holiday in the middle of the country this is for you. The pool is huge, you could stay there all day. We made fresh orange juice every day from the orange grove in the garden. Then lemonade from the fresh lemons. A variety of seating areas with views towards the surrounding villages. The house has ample room, we were three adults and two children. Beaches 30 min drive if you wanted a change. If you want to fill your day with exciting trips or just relax by the pool, this is a good choice? Navigating around the area was done by my 10 year old grandson using my phone ! The host are friendly and are close enough if you need help, however we only saw them on arrival and departure.

Just perfect!

What a really lovely place to stay. A very spacious and well appointed villa, nothing had been overlooked. It felt like a home and was very comfortable indeed. The pool is a great size and all the outside areas well thought out. Laura and Ruben were fantastic hosts very informative and available whenever needed. The villa is in a quiet location but within easy reach of shops restaurants and beaches. Would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you Laura and Ruben!

Brilliant holiday - lovely villa and great host!

We had a lovely week staying at Laura's villa. The house had everything we need - lots of outside areas we made the most of, great pool, equipped kitchen, big living room etc. Laura was lovely - great communication about arrival, she and her family live just down the road so were around if we needed anything (and informed us about local events during the week) but with privacy at the same time. Easy drive to lovely beaches and towns, 10 mins to supermarket. We'd love to come back some time!

Wonderful relaxing stay

An absolutely fantastic property with amazing hosts who really went out of the way to make us feel welcome and provide advice on things to do and see in the area. The house has everything you need and the pool is stunning as are the views all around. Location is excellent, set in a quiet rural area but a short drive to beaches, shopping and restaurants and places to visit. We had a great relaxing stay and will definitely be going back!

Perfect location for family holiday

Perfect location for family holiday, close to the coast with all its activities and lovely to come back to the villa for relaxation. The villa was very clean and well equipped, the pool was fabulous (cleaned every day) and the garden well maintained. Laura and Ruben were excellent hosts too, very welcoming and gave excellent information on local area. I would highly recommend this villa!

Perfektes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist ein Traum. Es hat alles, was man sich wünscht. Ruben und Laura sind perfekte Gastgeber. Sie wohnen beim Nachbargrundstück und stehen einem für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Der Empfang war herzlich und in der Küche hat uns ein kleines Starterpaket erwartet. Auch wenn Poolpartys ausschweifender werden, ist das kein Thema. Ruben saubert jeden Morgen um 7.00 Uhr den Pool und auch die Holzkohle vom Grill wird von ihm entfernt. Mit dem Auto braucht man rund 10 Minuten zum Strand. Ein Auto ist ein Muss. Die letzten 800 Meter zum Anwesen ist Schotterweg. Da das Anwesen weiter oben auf dem Berg ist, hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick! Ich kann es von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful rural rustic property . Immaculately clean with beautiful garden , terrace and pool. Completely private though the owners Laura & Ruben are below the villa privacy is respected at all times. As hosts they are wonderful. The best arrival package .. the home grown oranges were delicious. In the middle of the week a bottle of wine and pastries were left as a surprise in the outside kitchen fridge .. so thoughtful. Only complaint is the beds were too hard for us but we are very fussy .. Car essential .. great recommendations for dinner Thank you for a wonderful week

Lovely family holiday at Quinta Da Altura

If you're looking for a lovely peaceful place to stay then this is the villa for you. It has everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday. The views from the villa are stunning and we looked forward to our morning coffee everyday sat on the decking under the tree. The villa is clean, the rooms are spacious and the swimming pool is perfect for those long hot days and the gardens are very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals and there is an outside BBQ for the more adventurous ! A car is a must but there is a railway station and a bus stop less than a kilometre from the villa. Laura and Ruben are brilliant hosts. Our initial enquiries and any questions we had were answered very quickly and whilst we were in the villa, Laura was always available to talk to. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and can't wait to go back to Quinta Da Altura one day. Thank you

Excellent stay

We were delighted with our stay at the accommodation. It was me and my sister and her brother. I worked from the villa and the internet connection was excellent. the owners were very helpful and pleasant. The views were amazing and the pool was very big and clean. small thing is that the beds were hard. So it was not so comfy sleeping. But still we where well rested so its a small FB point. We enjoyed the Algarve very much and are more than happy to come back at this stay. Thank you Ruben en Laura!

Perfekte Ferien

Den Aufenthalt in der Quinta da Altura haben wir sehr genossen. Es hat alles gestimmt. Die Begrüssung durch Laura und Ruben war herzlich und wir erhileten alle nötigen Informationen. Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig und gut eingerichtet. Der grosse Pool hat vor allem mein Mann täglich genutzt. Es war super, dass wir am Morgen und Abend draussen beim Grillplatz essen konnten. Am späteren Abend haben wir es geliebt, auf der oberen Terrasse zu sitzen und die Aussicht auf das Lichtermeer zu geniessen. Laura und Ruben

Magnifique villa perchée sur la colline

Une super expérience pour nos vacances. La villa est très jolie, le jardin est magnifique, fleuri et arboré avec goût. L'extérieur est composé de plusieurs espace aménagé pour la détente, la petite terrasse en bois pour observer la jolie vue sur la plaine naturellement à l'abri du soleil par un très bel arbre (idéal pour le petit déjeuner ou l'apéritif). L'espace bronzage et piscine prolongé l'entrée de la villa. La piscine est top et assez grande pour nager. La cuisine extérieure est un vrai plus, nous y avons passé nos soirées avec plaisir. Il y a aussi un espace jeu pour les enfants, donc tout le monde y trouve son compte. L'intérieur est également très agréable avec des chambres spacieuses et de nombreuses salles d'eau. Et pour couronner le tout, des propriétaires charmants et de très bons conseils. Leur maison est en contrebas mais assez espacé de la villa et n'est pas visible, donc on est chacun chez nous dans la villa et ses extérieurs ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas dans ce style de location. Bref je recommande totalement 😊

Little piece of paradise

Wonderful house with a lovely garden and a big, fancy pool, perfect for children. Kids were very happy also with the trampoline and the swing. The owners are very kind and usually leave treats (a bottle of wine, homegrown vegetables etc.). Very good communication. Sparkling clean sheets and towels, both personalized. A cozy corner and a balcony with stunning views that make compulsive readers happy. We are utterly grateful for this memorable week.

Great villa

Great villa in a relaxing area with great views towards the coast. Villa is very well catered for and fans are provided for in every bedroom. Pool is fantastic, great size garden is very well maintained. Would recommend this villa if you're looking for some peace and quiet. You will need a car and nearest supermarket is about 7 to 10 minutes drive. Laura and ruben were great!

Very nice place and great location. The location is excellent as you can reach the closest beaches in Armacao de Pera or the small city of Silves in less than 15min. Other Algarve's attractions/locations in around 30-45min (e.g. Albufeira, Faro, Olhao, Lagos) and the West coast's beaches like Bordeira's beach in less than 1h drive. The house is spacious as is the external area with the wonderful swimming pool and covered area ideal for having breakfast/lunch/dinners, playing cards with the kids and grilling. Some renovation is needed and this is something that the owners are actively doing on a regular basis. We had a fantastic time and very much appreciated Laura and Ruben's care to make everything perfect. They are very nice, kind and attentive people always available to help and respecting our privacy. We appreciated finding little presents from their garden (e.g. melon, peppers) on the outdoor table in the morning. The villa is reachable trough a dusty road from Alcantarilha gare. Given its isolated location, a car is a must. We highly recommend the place and the owners. Ideal for people who want privacy and quiet.

Great time there

We really enjoyed our time at Quinta da Altura. The house is strategically located to visit multiple locations in algarve in short time. The swimming pool and the property are as described and very clean. A car is well recommended to enjoy the vacation at the fullest.

Louez sans hésitation cette jolie maison sur les hauteurs. Tout y est pour passer un séjour sans faille. Accueil au top par une famille aux petits soins. La cuisine d’été est faite pour les vacances au même titre que la piscine. Un plus pour les golfeurs : des parcours parmi les plus beaux

The villa is situated on the centre of Algarve near by everything and located in a peaceful area. Also has a large private pool.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The strongest points of this fantastic villa are the location as this property offers the pleasures of being in a quiet place but just minutes from everything, stunning views over countryside and nearby golf courses (Amendoeiras golf course complex can be viewed from the villa) a large pool for sole use of the guests (lighting at night) and WIFI access is unlimited and included.
The owners live near the villa; therefore if guests need any help, the owners can always be around quickly.
Massage, baby sitting, personal training service, horsing and food delivering may be available during your stay, however there is fee for thoses services.
