A great wedding week

Our intent for renting this house was to have a small family wedding ceremony down by the reeds at the lake. The house was great, the outdoor living space was great. We had plenty of room for all of our guests to have their own private time or come together as a group. We enjoyed family meals together, rented a pontoon from Hiller for the week as well. The house made for an even more special week for us. Thank you!

The house is very well kept and great for a big family. We were unable to snowmobile, but had a ton of fun playing pool, playing games at the big table and exploring the area. We really hope to come back sometime and enjoy the snowmobiling!

Hassle Free and Soooo Relaxing!

We had SUCH a good time! The place is huge and plenty of room for a couple families. We had 13 people total and more than enough room. Enjoyed the lake, tubing, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Pool was a hit with the teens. Hiller's was extremely easy to work with. I did get over charged compared to my quote and when I brought it to their attention they refunded me right away. We would go back!

Towering Pines was a very nice, over-sized home that fit the needs of our three families with small children. Nice sandy-beach access, flat back yard, and tons to visit within minutes, this is an ideal spot for families! Plus, the property management team was outstanding to work with - from finding the right place all the way through ensuring we were happy with our stay. We will return!

Kitchen had any and every pot, pan or gadget needed to make just about any drink or dish. Beds were comfortable, all slept great.Would recommend bringing dish towels and hand towels for all bathrooms. The dishwasher was broke for the week so we went through many towels. Hopefully it is fixed now.Would highly recommend and will return in the future! Thank you for the memories!

From the decor to the amenities and everything in between. Many upgrades to the property from our stay the previous summer, too. The pups loved the water, my wife loved her morning coffee in the sunroom, I loved watching my son catch a 48” musky from the dock!! The pontoon rental was seamless and a great addition to our vacation. Kids loved the kayaks and the new wall games. The garage was a definite plus during a hail storm! I could go on and on! My wife wants to go back in the fall and cook Thanksgiving dinner in the gourmet kitchen! Well worth every penny. Highly recommend!!

Fourth of July Stay at Towering Pines

This is a very spacious home and easily handled 8 adults and 6 children. Very nice kitchen and plenty of eating areas. Lake frontage was very nice with a good kids beach. Property could use an outside picnic table. Two issues occurred during our stay. One of the drains from the kitchen sink was not attached properly and leaked. Management did get it fixed the day after we called. Do not expect internet service at this property hence the reason for accuracy of online listing getting only two stars. We did not have internet access our whole stay. We called numerous times but apparently management are having a dispute and management cannot get the provider to come and fix it. Neither the previous guest or the guest that rented the property after our stay had internet access. Be warned cell phone data service is also poor.

We are sorry for the issue with the internet during your stay. There is one option in this area for internet service (Frontier) and their system stopped working at this location for a couple of weeks. It was completely a Frontier issue and something we had no control over. Our staff spent countless hours on the phones with Frontier trying to fix the issue, only to be told they could send a service technician to the property in 3 weeks. Prior to this it had been working properly for the 4 years we've owned the property, so this was out of the ordinary. The issue was fixed this afternoon and now the property has higher internet speeds than ever before! We take great pride in guaranteeing our guests exceptional service and for providing accuracy when describing our properties and amenities. Our staff spoke with you several times during your stay to help you understand what was happening with the internet and when to expect resolution. We were happy to offer you a credit off of your reservation and towards a future stay because of the inconvenience, despite having no control over the internet provider's inability to help in a more timely fashion.

Wonderful snowy vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great week in a winter wonderland!! We stayed the week after Christmas 2019 in this great house made for families! We loved all the open areas with the comfy couches, the wood burning fireplace that stayed going the whole week, & the pool table & dart board that kept the kids entertained and off their electronic devices! The kitchen was wonderful for baking, with lots of different cooking pans & dishes and tons of counter space. The big garage with an extra fridge, along with the small wine/beer fridge in the kitchen, helped so much. The yard was amazing for the kids to play in the snow and ride snowmobiles. Our only complaints would be the horrible water pressure in the showers, and the outlets that refused to hold any plugs. It was a pain to have to hold the plug into the wall and try to dry your hair. A good updating on the electrical plugs in all the bathrooms and bedrooms and something to make the water pressure better would make this house close to perfect! The Hiller staff is top notch and was right there with anything we needed. We kept them busy with firewood delivery! We absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back!!

We had a very nice stay, the house was clean and it was well stocked with the necessities. The property itself was well maintained. The tennis court was quite slippery when wet, just something to be cautious. We appreciated how clean and comfortable the furniture was, with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. Hiller was also great with checking in and responding to us.

Great place for families. Lots of rules though.

Overall, we really enjoyed the space and time for my 14 family members and myself. Everything was well maintained and clean. I appreciated the holiday aesthetic decor as well to add a more welcoming, festive feel! Down sides are the check in and check out times. The managing company was easy to work with and willing to accommodate where possible, which I did appreciate. I imagine there isn’t much flexibility during the summer though!

Very nice property but needs some tender loving care

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The first night we were there one of the smoke alarms had a low battery and it was beeping during the might be a good idea to replace those every month so that can be avoided. Also the oven smelled like gas whenever we used it. We called and they came and checked it and said it wasn’t a concern. We were still always worried when we had the stoveon. And the last two days the dryer stopped working. The bathtub leaked water through the ceiling downstairs. We had had the bathtub leak through the downstairs ceiling and another time when we rented this facility. WE also felt like the living room furniture had become run down and they were uncomfortable.

We just couldn’t figure out how to turn on the backyard lights on patio.

Family getaway for all

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property allowed for us (10) to be together to cook, play games, laugh, sit and catch up and also to spread out into smaller groups. There was plenty to do in the yard, the lake and the tennis court. The house had all the kitchen utensils and equipment of being at home. Some games for younger kids were provided, but we brought plenty of our own too. We made memories enjoying the space and time together. So much fun we jumped on booking for the next year.
