The toilet wasn't cleaned, black around inside of toilet. The hot tub was not emptied and refilled. We went in the hot tub the first night and when we got out we smelled of mold and mildew and our bathrobes as well. Bed mattress too small for bed, pillows during the night fell from head of bed to floor. The place was adorable and all the supplies were great; maybe a box of kleenex next time? Great location though. also, maybe clearing driveway to house of trees so they don't hit and/or scrape your vehicle

This was an enjoyable stay for our 10-year anniversary trip. With 2 additional twin beds, it could also easily accommodate a family of 4. (We used the twin beds as a good place to lay our suitcases open!) We enjoyed being within close driving distance to Anna Ruby Falls and Helen. The porch swing, bed, bathtub, hot tub, and real wood-burning fireplace were my favorite features of the property. Fall was a good time to come to the property, as the leaves were changing colors.

Room was decent...had mice recently and was not cleaned well. Shower has mold in it quite a bit and has no pressure. Jacuzzi did not heat well. The second entrance to place has a drop off and tore up front edge of our car. Also limbs and stuff on drive made it difficult to get to cabin. The twin bedspreads have stains. Tv is fairly hard ro work. The lock combination is insanely too long.

Cabin code was easy to use and the place was clean. Great location to things to do but far enough to have solitude. Owners reached out to make sure everything was well with the place. Great experience! Will rent again in the future!

We left after one a one night stay! As mentioned in previous review mold in shower was not resolved and there is not warm water in the shower. The water is either scalding hot or ice cold with no in between and there is literally no water pressure in the shower. The bathroom sink takes a long time to drain. The hot tub jets barely bubble and definitely do not have a forceful jet. The path to get to the cabin has limbs/vines in the path that will scratch your car. I reported all of this and they said they would resolve before the next guests stay but the mold has not been resolved as reported in July!! The gutters have weeds growing from them. The property is in need of some upkeep on the outside furniture there are spider webs and it’s all dirty. The one positive is the location. The location is very remote and beautiful! It’s also close to Anna Ruby falls!

While this property had some positive features such as the quiet, secluded location and the hot tub, it also has some things that could be improved to be the claimed "perfect romantic getaway." There was some mold/mildew in the shower that was quite unappealing. There was no soap dish in the bathroom sink, so the bar of soap was just making a mess on the counter. The outside furniture needed to be cleaned--it was quite dusty. The door lock had a super long passcode and locks behind you every time you go out the door. This makes it super risky if you forget to have the code with you. Pots and pans were below average and thrown into the bottom cabinet. These aren't deal-breakers if you're looking for a glamping trip. However, if you're looking for a turn-key romantic weekend, this cabin fall short of the mark.

Awesome cabin.

Pictures do not give this justice. Was there in the middle of summer and inside it felt like I was in the middle of winter. Beautiful. Made Helen more enjoyable.

This cute, comfortable cabin was located about 10 minutes from Helen in a quiet remote area just outside Unicoi SP. Georgia Mountain Rentals checked in by phone to make sure everything was ok plus they left us a gift for our 40th anniversary.

Sweet cabin with potential for greatness with more TLC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a nice stay at Moss Creek Lodge. It's a lovely cabin that was easy to find and convenient to attractions, yet it is located in a quiet area that feels very private. The place was comfortable and relaxing, but it could have been significantly better with a greater attention to detail being given by the cleaners and the management. The managers called us on our first morning there to check on us, and they seemed to care about our concerns. I didn't mention everything we noticed as we could look past most things. But in general, it seems that there is a lack of quality control with the cleanings and a lack of regular maintenance checks. I am a professional host and it was not to my standard (which may be higher than some). The outside porches were not cleaned or dusted well, making them less inviting. The screened porch was a big plus for us when booking, but the screens are very old and dirty, and really need replacement. It's harder to see that in the daylight, but at night, it looked very bad. The hot tub had sediment inside it upon arrival, which looked gross and alarming. We notified management when they called the first morning, but we were told that the well pump had been replaced and it wasn't filtered. They said there wasn't much that could be done as it would happen again if they drained and refilled it. I was impressed that the company owner came out to check on us after that call, which was very kind and appreciated. As other reviewers noted, the refrigerator leaks inside so items to get wet. We were also visited by the pesky, window-tapping bird each morning, as other reviewers shared. Bring ear plugs if you hope to sleep in! With better cleaning standards and some much needed maintenance, this place could be very luxurious and higher priced. It has so much potential! It's small, but perfect for a couple. We'd stay again if we knew that some of the issues were addressed.

The kitchen sink faucet stop working. The extension cord on the back porch was burnt inside of the socket. I just unplugged it. Called for someone to come check it out but no answer. I’m sure because it was a Sunday morning. Overall it was a good stay and will stay again. Really enjoyed the bird being our alarm clock. It would peck on the window beside the bed every morning around 6:30.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at this location. We enjoy staying away from all the noise. The cabin in cute and off the beating path. We enjoyed the full kitchen. The refrigerator unfortunately leaks inside getting your food items all wet then it freezes. That definitely needs some help. The jacuzzi is a wonderful treat after hiking all day! There's is also a great jetted tub indoors that is just as amazing. We like the convenience of the washer and dryer. Downfall the water pressure isn't great so the washer never got through a full cycle. We did report the low water pressure. My husband was able to clean the shower head, and sink spouts to make those flow better. The stand up shower is large and inviting. The fire pit area is wonderful. There is this crazy bird the wakes you up every morning early. It flying into pretty much every window. It poops all over the windowsills. It also attacks your car and poops all over that. Its definitely annoying but gets you up and hiking nice and early! We love the location of this cabin and how close to helen and other hiking/waterfall spots it is.

Cozy Family Cabin

The cabin qas the perfect disconnect for my wife, myself and our two kids. With 1 king and 2 little single beds, this place rocked. It was stashed away in the woods enough to make you feel disconnected, but just minutes from the heart of Helen if you wanted to go out. We built great family memories.

The coffee maker was missing so we called after our arrival and a new one was delivered an hour later! Bed and furniture were very comfortable. Cabin wasn't very close to others, which provided some quiet seclusion. We drank our coffee on the front porch and had a meal or two there as well. Close to nice areas and parks as well as Helen and Clarksville. Highly recommend the cabin and we hope to stay there again.

Perfect couples hideaway!

We loved this sweet little cabin for a couples getaway. Perfect place to play games, enjoy the hot tub, cook and watch movies. You are within 5 to 10 minutes of unbelievable hiking and Helen, Georgia where you can grab groceries or go out to eat!

Quiet but uncomfortable.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was quiet and peaceful. The other side of the coin was the issue. Our first night we heard noises in the kitchen. We found two drawers which contained mouse poop and chewed up condiment packages. We washed anything we used. There was no can opener.The shower has mold/mildew around it. The showerhead allowed a minimum of water flow, causing twice the time usually needed to take a shower, to get lathered and rinsed off. The bathroom sink is extremely slow and water backs up in it. We were going to use the spa until pulling the lid off and observing greyish debri in the water and seats. The couch in the livingroom was amongst the most uncomfortable we have had. We had to us alot of pillows.The cleaning people did do a decent job of cleaning the inside upon arrival. I do have photos if needed.
