Lovely cottage and location

This cottage was selected to provide a characterful property in the countryside where our extended family could come and have a clan gathering. Aided by faultless weather the cottage met our every need. So much so that we didn't do as much travelling in the area as we thought we might because we were quite happy at the cottage and it's environs. Geoff was a great host too - making sure that things were OK along the way. Can't speak too highly of "Le Hannelais"

Superbe maison bretonne

La maison grande, familiale. De l espace pour tous. Tres bien équipée. L emplacement permet de visiter le nord ee la Bretagne, dinard, cap frehel, le centre Dinan, foret ee Broceliande. Des balades sont possibles à partir de oa maison (chemin de randonnée). Notre hote fut tres reactif à chacune de nos demandes. Merci Geoff

Vacances en famille recomposée

Belle maison parfaite pour notre regroupement familial. Un bemol pour la cuisine . Le four n'est pas tres opérationnel ( la porte ne ferme pas en entier ), et manque de poêles ( une seule moyenne pour 10 personnes ). Un autre bemol, trois feuilles de papier toilette a notre arrivee!! Dur quand on arrive e tard!!. Et la propret laisse a desirer . On comprend la presence d'araignees en campagne , mais vraiment les toiles ne sont pas faites d'hier . Et la poussier non plus !! Cela reste malgre tout un bon sejour, au calme et proche des lieux touristique sans pour autant en subir les inconvénients. propretproprete rest tres moyenne

Coin de paradis en campagne

Sympathique logement pour 10 personnes lors d'un rassemblement de famille. Un calme environnement très apprécié pour se ressourcer. La cuisine est bien équipée. Il manquait juste une cafetière classique pour les grands buveurs de café qui étaient parmi nous. Des randonnées à faire en partant du gîte, et une vie sauvage qui nous rend visite parfois dans le jardin. Chouette semaine ! L'hôte est très à l'écoute et sympathique. Merci à Geoff pour ses suggestions de visite et ses informations complètes.

Séjour reposant

Très bon séjour, reposant, l'environnement est très calme. La maison est très sympa. Le séjour est impressionnant, dommage il manque à mon goût une grande table pour nous permettre de jouer à des jeux de société dans ce bel espace plutôt que de rester en cuisine en permanence (le températures extérieurs ne nous permettaient pas de le faire sur la table extérieure). Petite suggestion au gérant : prévoir de quoi manger des araignées de mer... Encore merci

Sooo restful

Fantastic, huge, well equipped property. It is in beautiful countryside with great walks and lake nearby. Have never slept as well even at home. It is very rustic which is exactly to my taste. Highly recommended to those who crave an escape to the country.

Large house, full of character, quiet location.

The owner, Geoff, could not have been more helpful. Everything was provided for at the property - comfortable bedrooms, a huge living room with lots of games, DVD's and CD's and a rustic kitchen. We greatly enjoyed the peace and quiet - a place to chill out in. Beautiful towns like Dinan are not too far away. The northern coast is a bit of a journey from Gitte but 'doable' if you know your objectives. Check whether the tide is in or out if you want to swim! Locally, the chateau is well worth a visit, with buildings spanning 600 years. Renne is also a great city to visit with a medieval section, an interesting city tour and good restaurants. We brought our own internet dongle to solve the lack of WiFi (not expensive since roaming charges have been capped). Great to have meals outside when it is sunny! Recommended!

Relaxed tranquil home from home

We've had several stays at the property, and have never been disappointed. It's a spacious gite and perfect for large parties or family gatherings. It's great for children with a large garden. The kitchen is fully equipped to deal with all the guests. The beaches on the north coast are stunning as is the town of Dinan. We will definitely return and would recommend for a peaceful relaxing holiday close to nature.

Ideal für Familien

Wir haben eine Woche mit 3 Familien in dem sehr geräumigen Haus verbracht. Der Eigentümer war immer zu erreichen und hilfsbereit, abgesehen davon ist alles im Haus, was benötigt wird. Es ist zwar nicht alles im Haus piekfein und schnieke, aber dafür hat das Haus einen sehr persönlichen Charme. Für uns war es schön zu sehen, dass der Eigentümer in dem Haus selbst oft Urlaub mit seiner Familie gemacht hat. Unsere Kinder konnten nicht nur draußen, sondern auch im Haus sehr gut spielen. Durch die Lage am Ende der Sackgasse war es angenehm ruhig. Abends kann man prima draußen sitzen und sich den Sternenhimmel anschauen. Und in nur wenigen Autominuten entfernt gibt es jede Menge zu entdecken. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt!

Georgia and I have always spent our precious holidays in France, dreamt of owning our own special place. Now we have it in La Hannelais, we always feel at home there and enjoy the feeling of seclusion, and room to live in La Haanelas. We are both full time employed in UK so are unable to spend as much time there as we would. Our time there spent with our children reminds us so much of our own childhood and brings back forgotten memories.
