The condo was very nice and comfortable. Host responded immediately to any questions we had. Very convenient to the town. We had an amazing experience in Albuferia. Would highly recommend for a future stay.

Fantastic place

We travel to the Algarve often but have never stayed here I’m so glad we stumbled across this as it’s perfectly situated with a a lovely shared pool and cafe. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped will definitely look to book here next time we come!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was very spacious, well equipped, and not overlooked, which gave us plenty of privacy and space to relax. The complex itself is beautiful, with a lovely pool area that was perfect for unwinding. The location was excellent too – within walking distance of both the Old Town and the Marina. Communication with the host was excellent throughout, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Excellent & very spacious apartment in a great location. Very well equipped & excellent communication with the owners who provide an excellent information package. Only slightly marked down on cleanliness due the apartment not having been prepared ready in time for our check in, but after contacting the owners this was very swiftly sorted & it was cleaned to a high standard. Complex is very well maintained, fabulous pool & friendly staff. Will definitely return

Lovely place

The location of this property I found perfect because it is out of the busy area but close enough to walk in to the busy area Property was exactly as described and we like everything about it five star Only down side about this property is no air con at all just a few fans

Absolute Gem of a place!

Had the best time here! The place itself had absolutely everything you could think and the complex was great! Lovely pool, delicious snack bar and lots of loungers! Everything in walking distance! We will most definitely be back! Rather hilly location but it’s a really nice walk so as long as you are ok on hills I wouldn’t look anywhere else! Lovely helpful owners too!

Perfect Villa

Property is first class. There wasn’t anything we needed. It was clean and really well maintained. The instructions and expectations from guests are clear without being over bearing. Beds are super comfy too. The complex pool is lovely. There is a bar and cafe there which serves lovely food, great selection of drinks and ice creams. Couldn’t recommend the villa enough. I’d also say the hosts have really prepared a great space. I can’t think of anything I missed in terms of facilities. There is literally everything you need. Brilliant.

We had a good stay at this apartment and overall liked it. The location worked really well for what we had planned and the space was a great size for 2 () people with everything we needed for a longer stay.There were a few things that could be improved. We arrived to a very cold house, and it took close to two days to feel comfortable by putting the heaters on etc. Given that winters there are chilly and we’d shared our arrival details in advance, it would have been great if the place had been preheated.The pre-arrival email was detailed but didn’t mention how parking works, which would have been helpful. The main entry door also requires a key from both inside and outside which is a safety concern in an emergency.We had an issue with hot water at the start: the first shower turned cold in under five minutes, but once we contacted the host and adjusted the heater, there was plenty of hot water. Finally, the bed was very firm and uncomfortable; on our last night we chose to sleep on the couches instead, which were much better.Overall, the apartment was great, host communication excellent and with a few tweaks it could easily become a five-star stay.

I am glad that you found the apartment to be great & overall had a good stay. I am sorry that you arrived when it was colder than usual in Portugal, the heaters do warm the apartment but we would recommend using the log burner to make the apartment really warm & cosy in the winter. Within the condominium you can park in any space without a permit in your car, I will clarify this in future information sent to guests. Once the main door is opened it can be opened from the inside (not the outside) without a key, you do need a key to double lock from the inside if wanted at night. I am also sorry that you found the beds to be very firm, they are not soft & were classed as medium when we bought them, they all have mattress toppers & we find comfortable. I guess it’s personal preference & compared with what you’re used to.

Unit is in great location between Old Town and Marina. Apartment need updating especially bathrooms and floors…ground dirt in grout and mould around tub doors Back terrace needs tiles to be levelled for better drainage Assistance should be available 24/7 Overall great stay

I'm glad that you had a great stay. We will look at replacing the shower screen & sorting the grout in the main en-suite bathroom next time we are in Albufeira (hopefully in May), the shower room is relatively new & had a new shower cubicle very recently. Our management company has a phone number for emergencies 24/7, their office is open Mon-Sat normal working hours.

Great apartment

Apartment had everything you could need, like a home from home. Windmill Hill complex is beautiful and the pool area was perfect, plenty of sunbeds, lovely pool, small shop and cafe/bar area. The views were amazing over the sea and town. The only negative for anyone with restricted mobility is that Windmill hill is located high above town but that wasn't a problem for us. Supermarket just over 6 mins away and the route to town and beach 10 mins. If I'm back in Albufeira this is where I'm heading 👍

Fantastic Apartment

This is our 4th stay in Alburfeira, and this was the best stay so far. Large apartment with huge en suit. Kitchen was very well equipped with lots of extras. Yes it is uphill getting home from town, but if you want to stay in Alurfeira you must expect hills as it's a hilly area. My husband and I are both pensioner's and I use a walking stick and we managed fine. Uber is very cheap and you could get Uber for 4 euros. Our 14 year old grandson loved the swimming pool and so did I. Staff in the bar and shop are really nice and helpful. 10 minute walk to shops and old town and 15 minute walk home. Comfortable beds and brilliant information from Chris. Would 100% recommend and will definitely book again when next in Alburfeira.

Lovely spacious apartment

We had a lovely time, the pool area and bar/restaurant are super. Treat yourself to a meal in the restored windmill onsite, expensive but fabulous experience. Apartment had all we required, not enough wifi for teen but he coped! Nice and clean and plenty of space for a small family, no air con so if that bothers you bear it in mind but the fan or doors left open with closed shutters was fine for us. Area is hilly but the tourist train and the little rickshaw ride back was fun as was a boat trip to see the caves and dolphins. Marina was nice to eat and watch the football, even if the result wasn’t great! Overall a lovely break

calm and relaxed

We had a wonderful Christmas time at Albufeira. The apartment is nice, very well equipped and is bigger than it looks on the pictures. The kitchen is large and has pretty much all the things you need. The modern and comfortable fireplace is nice and we needed it for winter evenings. There are several restaurants in the vicinity and an almost endless amount of restaurants around town. Although the Old Town is nearby, it's a pretty steep walk back to Windmill Hill. But not a problem for most people. We loved the apartment and we loved the Algarve in winter time.

Overall a lovely property

Lovely spacious apartment with all amenities. Pool area is lovely and clean and the walk to the beach and old town wasn’t bad and only €4 back up If you don’t fancy the steep hill. Biggest downfall was no air conditioning! my fault for not reading properly but it was far too hot for us and the fans didn’t really help unfortunately. If it wasn’t for the air con we would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay in Albufeira. The residence was well equipped, clean and offered us everything we asked for. The fireplace was a nice treat on chilly nights and the back patio and pool areas were well used. We had good communication with the owner and then the property management staff on the few occasions we had questions. Booking the Yellow Fish shuttle was really easy to get from the Faro airport and the user guide at the residence gave helpful tips about the area. We got lots of steps in taking the shortcuts down to old town and the beaches. We bragged about this unit to our friends!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement est au calme dans une résidence bien entretenue avec une jolie piscine. Il était propre à notre arrivée et conforme à la description. Il est très bien équipé. Il est facile de se stationner dans la résidence. La communication avec notre hôte a été très bonne.

Windmill Park

Die Lage ist zentral und gut! Die Anlage ist schön und gepflegt, Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Das WLan ist quasi nicht vorhanden, mehr als 2 Geräte können nicht eingeloggt werden. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit das zu verbessern. Wer also mit Teenagern reist oder wem eine gute Internetverbindung wichtig ist, der sollte genügend Datenvolumen haben. Darauf wird leider im Vorfeld nicht hingewiesen. Die Wohnung ist eigentlich schön und mit 2 Badezimmern zu viert super. Allerdings waren wir die ersten Tage nur mit der Agentur in Kontakt, da TV, Staubsauger und Waschmaschine nicht funktionierten, was im Urlaub schade ist. Ansonsten war die Wohnung lieblos eingerichtet: Wolldecken über alten Sofas, was bei heißen Temperaturen irgendwie schräg ist. Auch war selbst für 4 Personen kein einheitliches Geschirr da. Tischsets und Untersetzer abgenutzt, der Grill draußen uselig und verrostet. Alles wirkt wie „das haben wir über, kommt in die Wohnung“, was wirklich schade ist. Für recht kleines Geld könnte man aus der Wohnung viel mehr machen und diese einladender gestalten.

I am sorry that you were disappointed with our apartment & you thought that the hoover, tv & washing machine weren’t working. Addressing these issues: The hoover worked - being cordless you had to charge with charger in the clearly marked ‘shark’ bag in the wardrobe, which you found & managed. Error code H20 appeared on the washing machine which happens when it is overloaded or there’s a drop in water pressure, we’ve had it checked since your departure & no problem has been found, it is working & we’ve had no further complaints. The tv’s are also working (our management company came round & sorted) for some reason the batteries had been removed from the remote controls & the bedroom & living room remotes mixed up. Unfortunately in high season when busy & a lot of people are using the internet & trying to stream it doesn’t always work as well for streaming.

Appartement parfait pour un agréable sejour

Appartement spacieux avec tout le nécessaire. La résidence est très belle, bien entretenue, sur les hauteurs de la ville, proche à pied de la plage, de la vieille ville et de la Marina. Les propriétaires nous avaient transmis toutes les informations pratiques par mail avant notre arrivée. Parfait pour passer d'agréables vacances.
