Refurbished and tastefully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (plus extra loft area with 2 beds) property located 8km east of Plettenberg Bay - the 'Jewel of the Garden Route'. From this quiet location, guests can explore all the scenic and adventure attractions that have made this beautiful bay famous.
The temperate climate allows for visiting throughout the year - whether you enjoy a peaceful retreat during the short winter or a bustling holiday destination during the summer. Set in the tranquil surrounds of the Silver Ranch estate, a 17 hectare privately owned estate with 50 houses constructed around a fenced game field hosting springbuck. The large loft room with two extra beds allows for a convenient play area for children.
You will have access to the large and well-maintained common grounds and communal swimming pool (not heated). A short walk along a private footpath connects you to the dunes and a stunning beach.
Guests also love the covered rear patio, where patio furniture and the built-in barbecue allows for pleasant al-fresco dining. There is also a front patio which overlooks the game field.

I am a South African full-time medical practitioner living in London. Due to being so far away I have appointed the lovely folks at Bay Holiday Homes in Plettenberg Bay to assist my guests, and they will be there to advise and assist with anything that you might require. I shall manage your booking and maintain regular contact before and during your visit. I shall also send you the comprehensive "Guest Info Document" once your booking has been confirmed.
この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由
I wanted to have a place of my own in this area, as this region was where I spent most of my holidays since the age of twelve. After my relocation to London, short-term lettings seemed the logical way to go, for that would have enabled me to retain possession of this house in this most beautiful part of the South African coastline, and also allowed me to use my property whenever I travelled back to the Garden Route for my holidays. Plettenberg Bay can get very crowded during the holiday season (December/January), and with this in mind, I decided to purchase outside the main town.

The house has a clean and airy feel to it. It is functionally furnished as I have learned that holidaymakers prefer uncluttered spaces. The unusually large open area is great for children. In April 2022 I upgraded the property and installed new audiovisual equipment and replaced all the bedding.
With the access to 'our own beach' via the footpath (safe), you should be able to enjoy something quite special during your stay here. In their 1996 issue, Cosmopolitain Magazine rated this beach, which they referred to as Long Beach, as their 2nd most special beach in SA. This 9km uninterrupted sandy beach allows for guests to hike all the way to the Keurbooms River lagoon mouth to observe the birdlife, or to walk east to Keurbooms Strand, where the plateau drops down to the sea, and the rocky coastline starts.
Plettenberg Bay sports some of the finest beaches in SA and guests, who are advised to have the use of a vehicle, can drive to any number of these jewels in a matter of minutes.
