Wonderful stay at Steve’s! The house sleeps 11 people extremely comfortably, there is enough space and privacy for all.Given the high temperatures we were expecting trouble sleeping but the house stays really cool.Outdoor patio and barbecue are great and the pool is bigger than most we’ve encountered.Kitchen is really fully equipped, also this is not common.Communication with both Steve and Emma was easy and fast. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful peaceful country home

This is an amazing property in a peaceful location surrounded by stunning countryside. Our check in and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook and eat easily without having to go out anywhere. Be advised that because of the stunning and remote location, a car is essential. Loved it!

Gorgeous, spacious property. The pool lived up to expectations and was very clean. Beautiful peaceful setting, with attendant wildlife (lizards, bats, beetles etc). Lack of air con mediated by the relatively cool nature of the house, and ceiling fans help a little; and great that windows have mosquito mesh (though this is missing or damaged in places). The road down from the village to the house is pretty twisty and steep, but managed it fine. Wouldn't want to do it too many times a day. Love that there are two outdoor seating areas. NB, in case kids are set on it, there is no trampoline anymore and the swing set is a little aged. Loved the balcony view from Vecchi Sapori restaurant in Penna.

Fantastic villa in beautiful surroundings

This year was our second stay at Casa Matilda. The house itself is fantastic, lots and lots of space and very well maintained. The swimming pool is huge which is fantastic as this is where we were spending most of our time. It's a 5 minute drive up the hill to the small town of Penna San Giovanni. Here you'll find everything you need; restaurant, bakery, bar, supermarket etc. It's a beautiful village, also incredibly friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area is simply stunning. We're looking forward to returning to Casa Matilda soon. It's an amazing place to stay and relax.

This is a fantastic, huge farmhouse in a very peaceful area surrounded by beautiful countryside. The swimming pool is huge and it was amazing to swim and spend lazy days around. Check in and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The farmhouse and pool were spotlessly clean, and the kitchen and barbecue area allowed us to cook and eat easily. It's a 5-minute drive up to the small town of Penna San Giovanni which has everything you need - a restaurant, bar, supermarket etc. It's a beautiful village; everyone was incredibly friendly and keen to help. It's an amazing place to stay and unwind, waking up to the birds singing in the morning. I can definitely, highly recommend staying here.10/10. Thank you

Saskia

The farm house has a big pool and enough place for 11 people. The location is about 50 minutes away from the nearest beach.

Vacanze relax

Like a home from home

Casa Matilda was everything we had hoped for and more. It's location, size, character and charm. A real family friendly property set in a wonderful valley just a stones throw away from Penna San Giovanni, which dons some lovely restaurants and shops as well as fantastic views. My family and I absolutely loved staying here for our week in August. The spaciousness of the place, the amazing climate and not to forget a swimming pool to die for. Already re-booked for 2016 as my children often talk about their fond memories of their stay at Casa Matilda.
