Lovely Home

Really lovely property, very comfortable & well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful view over Clew Bay, unfortunately didnt get to use the outside space as weather not great! You would definitely need a car for accessing Westport, however within walking distance of The Tavern pub which did lovely food and also Croagh Patrick is within walking distance. Its a good base for travelling out to the many beautiful surrounding beaches. Communication with owners was excellent with plenty of information provided. Would recommend this property.

Exactly as advertised

We had a lovely week at Redrianne. It was perfect for the five of us; my wife and I, our son and daughter-in-law, and our grandson. Easy to find, simple check in, very clean and well-equipped. Exactly as advertised. The drinking water issue was but a minor inconvenience. Our five year old grandson especially appreciated the variety of toys and games on hand. Excellent accommodation!

Beautiful property. The location is perfect for exploring Westport, Achill Island, Connemara, and many other locations. We had a lovely stay in the house. The photos are completely accurate to the experience. Fantastic view from the front of the house.

Great Property in Suberb Location

This is a high quality bungalow, well equipped with everything that you need . Very comfortable living spces and good bedrooms with good beds. Bathrooms are nice with powerful showers. The views across the water ro the hills are beautiful whatever the weather! Excellent pub within 15mims walk and Wesport is a pleasant small town with good shops , a Lidl and plenty of places to eat well . No hesitation in recommending.

Clew Bay Cottage

Enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage. The family history of the house added to the charm. View of the bay was wonderful, as well as the neighboring sheep and lambs. It was a great base for adventures, and convenient to town while away from the crowds.

Redrianne house

what can you say - the views of Clew Bay are awesome! The house had all the amenities we needed plus more. Beds were comfortable, the house was super clean. The snug w/the fireplace was perfect in the cool evenings overlooking the bay. Great food in the nearby pubs. Caution: they were not open on Mondays and Tuesdays..(shoulder season). The grassy yard provided an environment for the wildlife and the sheep in the back pasture were a joy. Directions alittle scewed - deerpark sign is nowhere to be found.

Lovely cottage with sea views

A lovely cottage with sea views across Clew Bay. Well-appointed kitchen, 3 good sized bedrooms, one very well set up for kids. I particularly liked setting up the wood burning stove - lovely and works great! The host was very responsive, we had some plumbing/heating issues, which she was very quick to get resolved.

Fantastic location

The views are incredible. The area is fantastic with lots to do (boat trips on Clew Bay, walking up Croagh Patrick). The house is great. Has everything you could need. Just 10 mins drive from Westport too.

Best in all aspects

Fantastic location; excellent views of Clew Bay; comfortable furniture; great mattress; perfect layout and a very nice feature of having two sitting rooms with the bay facing sitting room with a small wood-burning stove. Had a bay facing patio with outdoor furniture and a picnics table on the back side of house. Dishwasher was great to have as was the washing machine. Very happy to have found this wee piece of heaven.

Beautiful Views

My family and I loved the house! The house views were breathtaking. I had a cuppa tea every morning and night out on the front deck. Listening to the sheep and birds. The location was perfect for our main "hub". We rented a car, so we took full advantage of it. The whole process of checking in was easy from beginning to end. The house was clean and stocked with games and puzzles for kids. Thank you Annette for sharing Redrianne with my family. Slainte!

Fantastic!

Just returned from a very relaxing vacation week spent at Redrianne. Even with all the positive reviews, it's fair to say the property exceeded our expectations. This is a modern, custom built family vacation home, impeccably clean and furnished to a high standard, completely equipped and fully stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Checking in and out was simple, while the heat, hot water, TV and Wifi, and all appliances worked flawlessly. We appreciated their smart-tvs allowing us to connect to our own Netflix. Large picture windows in the front living room and both adult bedrooms showcase ever-changing panoramic views of Clew Bay and the surrounding countryside. Sheep graze on the hillsides while hares nibble the front garden – yet the town of Westport with all its shops, pubs and restaurants is an easy 5-mile drive. Closer to home, The Tavern Restaurant only a mile way was a welcome place to eat in or take out - it is highly recommended. Easy access to all local attractions, including the islands. This is a perfect vacation spot, and one that we will be recommending wholeheartedly. Thank you Annette and Alan for your kind hospitality!

A very well-appointed house in a fabulous location.

We had a lovely stay in April, exploring the area from Murrisk to Westport and beyond to Achill Island. The house is generously appointed and everything worked well, so it was a great place to remain when the weather closed in. When the sun shines, the view over Clew Bay is superb.

Comfortable Country Cottage

This is a comfortable and warm country bungalow with a well equipped kitchen, cosy living room and good beds and bed linen. The heating works well and the living room stove gives great heat. The view, when the clouds clear! is super. Charming Westport town with its shops and lovely cafes and pubs is under 10 minutes away. The whole area around is great for walking and cycling. Our otherwise great experience in the house was let down by a couple of cleaning deficiencies that were the result of insufficient care by the staff. Recommended even so.

Idyllic location with the most spectacular view!!

Cosy (yet deceivingly spacious) cottage with the most amazing view! Weather was chilly, but we still wrapped up to make the most of the beautiful new patio area and to take in the view! Our favourite room was the front living room with stove, from which the view could also be admired from the large window. Beds were very comfy. Location is just ~10min drive to Westport, or I believe you can also walk (at night, just bring hi vis or make sure you can easily be seen in the dark as it’s a busy road and there’s sections with no street lights). We also climbed Croagh Patrick (just 1.5km up the road) and visited The Tavern afterwards, which was nice! Croagh Patrick was amazing and well worth the effort if you’re fit for it! Also ate at Sol Rio (gorgeous food and early bird menu), and had yummy coffee and cake at “This Must Be The Place”! Overall, a wonderful relaxed family holiday and we hope to return some day!

Our holiday home is very special to us as the land it stands upon has been in our family for over 60 years. I have family living in the area and have been visiting Murrisk for over 50 years. We never tire of the outstanding views from the house and watching the colours change, often from minute to minute. It is quite breathtaking. At the same time, we benefit from being very close to all the amenities of Westport and being within a 15 minute walk of two excellent dining pubs.

We thoroughly enjoy the peace and tranquility afforded by the outstanding views. The colours of the bay have to be observed whatever the weather. It is equally as wonderful at night with the lights twinkling across the bay.
