1903年に混雑した地区委員会によって建てられたこの美しいコテージは、完全に改装されたばかりで、アイルランド観光局による4 *の評価を受けています。 Bracklaghの小さな村に位置し、新しいバスルームとキッチン、ウェットルーム、, /泥炭ストーブ、スカイ+ HD、iPodドッキングステーション、デジタルロバーツラジオ、The Whiteのリネンで非常に高い水準に仕上げられています会社、タオル地のローブ、地下水熱ポンプによる床下暖房。 改装された干し草の納屋は駐車に最適で、2番目の施錠可能な納屋は自転車やサーフボードなどを保管するのに最適です。 ブラックラグは非常に静かで、野生動物、特に野ウサギの天国です。

Such a beautiful cosy home with heated floors and a fire! The surroundings were beautiful, not to mention the friendliest cats ever and two gorgeous ponies. Seán (the host) was so lovely and speaks beautiful Irish too. Would absolutely recommend to anyone from a few friends to a full family trip. Will be definitely be staying here again! Go raibh míle maith agaibh.

We loved our stay at this property. The managers were friendly, accommodating and responsive to our questions. The cats and ponies were an extra bonus that made the trip. We used the kitchen quite a bit and had everything we needed. We did not use the washer because we didn’t have a dryer or way to hang clothes. DVDs were great. Beds were comfortable. Heated floors was nice. Great to have a tub and shower. Thanks again!

Second stay here. Cosy, comfortable and clean with everything provided that you would need for a short stay. In a rural location, but this simply adds to its charm. Would definitely stay again.

Superb property. Fantastic facilities easy to access other areas. Day out in Dublin on the train from Ballyhaunis so easy and cheap! We will be back!

The nicest place we have stayed at. Wonderful if i new i would of booked it for the entire stay in Ireland. Shawn is a Gentelman with the best Sense of Humor. Went through everything and missed nothing. Hense the reason he is 5 star if 10 Stars were avaliable he would deserve them. Dont miss vour chance to stay off the Grid in the quaintest cottage in Ireland. We will be back

We moved back to Mayo in 2000 after 10 years of renovating Seán's family home - it took so long because of time and budget constraints. and we were joined in December by our daughter, Muirgheal. The family has now grown to include a donkey, 2 alpacas, 4 dogs, 2 miniature shetland ponies, 4 cats, 3 terrapins and 2 fish. The renovations bug took hold again in 2003 and we bought the dilapidated cottage which is now Tigh Mhic. We love the peace and quiet and empty spaces of Mayo and though others would too so planned the work with the idea of providing a home from home holiday cottage. What we didn't realise was how much we would enjoy sharing our love of east Mayo. Tigh Mhic is less than 3 miles from home which makes it easy to be on hand to help our visitors and maintain the cottage to the highest standards.

Mick's Place is a fully restored cottage. It is in such a peaceful setting we have taken ourselves off there for our own holidays! If you are out at the front and a vehicle goes past you look up and is not a common sight. You are definitely out in the country with the possibility of spotting hares, hawks, herons, foxes and swallows but only under 10 minutes from the small hub of Claremorris which offers shops, supermarkets, pubs, leisure facilities (including golf club and swimming pool), coffee shops and restaurants.

Our joys are gentle walks, occasional cycle rides, sitting with a good book and a glass of wine and spotting nature. These interests are definitely well served at Mick's Place. We also love the fact that Tig Mhic is well placed for day trips to Westport, Achill, Galway, Sligo, Carrick on Shannon and Roscommon..to name but a few of the beautiful places to visit in the west of Ireland
