Nice place to discover Crete

Nice flat with all necessary amenities to enjoy your time in Crête. The pool is very much appreciated. You do need a car though to visit the area, go shopping and go to the beach.

Host was great good response to issues , no micro wave and basic kitchen equipment provided . Very little outdoor seating on the upstairs balcony , the villa was 30 mins walk from the beach and 20 from Kavros to tavernas so need a car . Great area for exploring western Crete and found it so very Greek lovely people friendly as always so on balance a great holiday, the pool was great and mostly felt like a private pool It was well maintained and kept clean with filtration units .

Highly recommended little gem

We had a really nice stay at this place. It was clean, had everything you need and we had the pool for ourselves almost all the time. Filia answered all our questions patiently and quick:) Would absolutely recommend this place. The closest beach is super nice and awesome for kids and the two closest villages offer loads of food and shopping options. The only thing that we missed (might be because we are up super early) is an umbrella or some kind of shade for the patio outside in the morning when the sun is already pretty intense.

family two weeks hol

the villa was clean and tidy, the layout is good with one bedroom on the ground floor. nice roof terrace. great sea views from the bedroon balcony. pool was a good size shared with 4 other villas but hardly anyone used it so like your own pool you need a car but the main town is a ten minute drive with some nice tavernas. recommended a few trips to rethymno just a 20 min drive but the old town is brilliant. definitely will use this villa again.

Nice property, lovely area

Filia is very helpful answered any questions we had promptly and was very generous with letting us check out later than required to help us with our later flight home. The villa is as described, clean and tidy with bottled water, towels and clean bedding. The pool is a short walk from the villa as described in the listing which would only be a problem if you have very small children as you couldn't let them go to the pool on their own. It's a beautiful place to stay very authentic, taxis very easy to arrange. We can't wait to visit again. Amy

Great holidays

Myself, husband and our friends spent two enjoyable weeks at Kourna's Beach Villas. The house is equipped as described, extras, bed linen, towels etc., very clean and well-kept. Pool and communal areas equally well kept. There is peace and quiet, the singing of cicadas and the ringing of a small flock of sheep that grazed in the field in front of the patio on the ground floor: a covered porch always used especially for dinner. The owner was always very helpful and his sightseeing and local shopping advice was very useful and detailed. After an air conditioning fault was reported, it was quickly repaired. The location turned out to be perfect for exploring the central and western parts of the island. Car rental is required. Very nice beaches with clear water nearby and the Kourna Lake 5 km away.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer schönen Anlage. Insgesamt alles sehr ruhig, aber etwas abseits gelegen, weshalb ein Auto sinnvoll ist.Das Haus ist sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden. Allerdings ist die gesamte Villa etwas " in die Jahre" gekommen und einige Renovierungsarbeiten sollten dringend erledigt werden, um das Potenzial der Unterkunft zu nutzen.Hier und dort eine Dekoraton und ein neuer Anstrich würde alles sehr aufwerten.Der Kontakt mit der Verwalterin funtionierte gut und reibungslos.Insgesamt eine schöne Zeit auf Kreta.

Ruhiges Haus

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.Es gibt 2 separate Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage, eines im Erdgeschoss und eines im ersten Stock.Eine voll eingerichtete Küche mit Kühl und Gefrierschrank, Herd, Backofen, Tisch und 4 Stühlen.Auf der Terrasse befindet sich ebenfalls ein Tisch mit Stühlen.Der Terrassenbereich ist etwas karg und der Ausblick auf den angrenzenden Wasserpark nicht gerade prickelnd.Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine Toilette und im ersten Stock das Badezimmer welches mini ist.Aber die Waschmaschine befindet sich ebenfalls dort.Es gibt noch eine große Dachterrasse, diese haben wir aber nur fürs Wäschegestell genutzt.Der Gemeinschaftspool befindet sich nur wenige Meter entfernt und ist ausreichend groß und sauber. Liegen sind ebenfalls vorhanden.Den Grill haben wir nicht genutzt, dieser war ebenfalls etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Traumurlaub in toller Lage

Wir waren als Familie für drei Wochen in Asproulianos. Die Unterkunft war etwas abseits gelegen vom Trubel. Dennoch war alles mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. In der Gegend sind zahlreiche Tavernen, Bars, ein Bäcker, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Souvenirläden. Um zum Strand zu kommen benötigt man ein Auto. Das Haus war groß genug für drei Personen, auch eine vierte Person hätte genügend Platz. Die Dusche ist etwas klein, aber trotzdem Ok. Das Haus ist mit allem eingerichtet was man braucht. Der Pool ist fantastisch. Und man hat ihn tatsächlich fast für sich alleine. Selten waren andere Gäste dort. Auch der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war unkompliziert und einwandfrei. Die Wegbeschreibung stimmte auch. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder und hatten eine sehr gute Zeit im schönen Kreta. dort.

Sejour agreable

Nous avons l habitude de venir l’été, mais cette periode de l’année (mois de mai) est particulièrement agreable , la chaleur est moindre et les nuits plus fraiches. La maison est confortable pour passer de belles vacances , seul le voisinage est un peu envahissant

Fantastique

Nous avons passé un exéllent séjour et avons été pleinement satisfait, la maison est conforme aux photos, l'environnement est très calme, le séjour qui donne sur la terrasse et le barbecue est sans vis à vis.La piscine est parfaite pour se détendre après une journée de plage (il n'y a jamais grand monde). L'emplacement est formidable situé à 3 minutes de voiture de Georgioupolis ou vous y trouverez restaurants, boulangerie, boucherie. Nous y retournerons.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Asprouliani

Très satisfait de la location à 4 personnes dont 2 adolescents. Logement fonctionnel.Tres bonne organisation pour l'arrivée. Bien situé pour découvrir la région et profiter des plages. Piscine partagée très appréciée en début ou fin de journée.

Ferienwohnung mit super Lage

Wir haben unseren Urlaub auf Kreta sehr genossen und waren mit der Wohnung sehr zufrieden. Ruhig gelegen und man hat eine kurze Fahrzeit zum Strand und in die Stadt. Die Wohnung war groß genug für 3 bis 4 Personen die Küche und Einrichtung waren völlig ausreichend für uns. Das Highlight war der große Pool der sehr schön und sauber war. Ich wurde nochmal kommen.

Great place in Crete

Very close to everything if you have a car or don’t Mind a short walk. No parking issues. Great beach close by .Very friendly people everywhere ready to help. The only thing is there is no one on site to welcome you and it is very challenging to find the building if you arrive after dark. But when you find it it is a great place and I would love to go back.

Creta: incantevole scoperta

Io, marito e due figli adolescenti abbiamo trascorso due piacevoli settimane al Kourna's Village nell'agosto 2019. La villetta è ben fornita, curata nei suoi arredi, accessori, biancheria, ecc, molto pulita e ordinata. La piscina e gli spazi comuni altrettanto ben curati e mantenuti. Pace e tranquillità regnano sovrane così come il canto delle cicale e lo scampanellio del piccolo gregge di capre e pecore che pascolava nelle ore più fresche della giornata nel campo antistante il bel patio del pian terreno: veranda coperta sempre sfruttata specialmente per pranzi e cene. La proprietaria si è dimostrata sempre molto disponibile, gentilissima e i suoi consigli riguardo visite e locali/negozi sono stati molto utili e particolareggiati. La posizione si è dimostrata perfetta per visitare la parte centrale e occidentale dell'isola. Necessario il noleggio di un'auto. La spiaggia vicina al residence è possibile raggiungerla a piedi, passeggiando per non più di 5 minuti.

Un super séjour en Crête

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 14 jours en Crête. Le logement était grand, récent et propre avec de nombreux placards dans les chambres. Très belle piscine près de l'habitation sans vis à vis. Nous recommandons pleinement cette location. En plus, le ménage lors du départ est compris dans le prix ! C'est Top !!!

Schöne Ferienwohnung zentral gelegen

Die Ferienwohnung bzw. Haushälfte liegt im Außenbereich einer Ferienhausanlage. Die Ausstattung ist gut und gepflegt. Nur ein Kaffebereiter oder eine Kaffemaschine haben gefehlt. Wer seine Kinder von der Terrasse aus im Pool beaufsichtigen will, wird enttäuscht. Aber für jemanden, der nicht ständig das Pooltreiben beobachten möchte, ist die Lage ideal. Man hat seine Ruhe und ist trotzdem nur wenige Schritte vom Pool entfernt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos. Wir haben eine gute Anfahrtsbeschreibung und Ausflugtipps erhalten. Eine Verlängerung um eine Nacht war problemlos.

Car Hire

The host, Filia, did suggest we hired a car and in hindsight I wished we had, it was about a 20 minute walk to the beach and about 30 minutes to the village. We hoped to stock up on food for BBQs but we could not find charcoal anywhere in the small village and the larger supermarkets were in the bigger towns, it was hard work carrying back groceries. Anyway overall it was pleasant, the pool was nice and empty, usually just us there. The beach was lovely. Food was better in some places than others, we just did our homework and tried to eat food that was home cooked instead of processed. Lake Kournas via the train is a must, there I had the best Moussaka. All in all the holiday and villa was good.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage - Alles vorhanden was man braucht

Ideal für Familien mit Kinder. Alles gut gepflegt und gut eingerichtet. Nur 15 min Fußweg zum Strand. Tolle Terasse im EG und zusätzlich herrliche Dachterasse mit Meerblick. Auto sollte vorhanden sein. Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert.

KC1 Kournas Beach

The property was clean well appointed and comfortable the only problems we had were with opening the key safe which was probably due to us being tired and arriving very late and also opening the front door which needed a special knack which we didn't get for a couple of days. The pool was really nice and maintained really well.

Quiet and private relaxing villa

Property as described. Clean and plenty of equipment, towels etc. Did not affect us but no description of where swimming pool is in relation to the villa. Could affect families with children who think that they can keep an eye on them from the villa because of picture showing all the pools in the main part of the complex. Had a really relaxing week and would recommend it to others.
