A Piece of Heaven

We loved our month in Italy staying at Trullo Beato during July 2023, even in spite of about 12 days of extraordinarily hot weather (up to 104°F). Trullo Beato is exquisitely private with hedges and trees surrounding the property and pool. We enjoyed being out in the country, and near the nearby towns of Locorotondo and Alberobello for shopping and dining. We also enjoyed the nearby “neighborhood” dining options of Angelini’s Cafe, and we made new friends at the nearby restaurant, Il Vecchio Granaio. The managing staff at Puglia Arrivals / Puglia Pools were all friendly, easy to get along with, and responsive to our few needs. What we didn’t enjoy: We didn’t at all enjoy the dog kennel which is located about 100-200 meters away, and where there are at least a dozen or more dogs that were constantly barking, howling, yelping and squealing. The sounds and sometimes the odor that comes wafting through was entirely annoying. This came as a surprise to us as there is no mention of it in past comments, and the Google satellite maps did not show anything but open field where the kennel is now located. The WiFi is not secured and is practically unusable. We provided our own international data plans to our phones, and that was an additional cost for us of several hundred dollars. Despite these few complaints, we’d stay there again. Trullo Beato is wonderful place for two to escape to weather for a week or a month. It’s a little piece of heaven!

Villa Beato

The villa and pool area were beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. The driveway and garden look like they could do with some attention but otherwise really lovely. Unfortunately the noise from the dog kennels in the next plot at numerous times throughout the day and night totally ruined an otherwise idyllic holiday. We understand this is something that’s only developed in the last year or so and totally out of your control .

Perfect Holiday Retreat

Trullo Beato certainly exceeded our expectations of a perfect holiday hideaway. The Trullo is stylish and well designed with absolutely everything you could need for relaxing break in this wonderful region. Being so close to Locaratondo, our favourite town, is a real bonus and so convenient. We loved the privacy of the swimming pool and the lovely bedroom with its doors opening to the outside - so airy and spacious with a really comfortable bed. We would love to return to Trullo Beato and have no reservations about recommending this perfect holiday retreat.

Lovely Trullo

Thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed our stay in this lovely Trullo after a couple of nights in magnificent Matera. The property was very clean and the bed is super comfortable. The provision of a fan and mosquito net for the bedroom helped us to sleep well and remain bite free at night. Kitchen, although small, is well equipped for self catering needs. The pool was excellent, very clean and well maintained. The location was ideal for our stay as we enjoyed delightful evenings in Locorotondo and Cisternino. We also found Monopoli and Bari pleasant excursions.

Wunderschöner gepflegter und sauberer Trullo!

Der Trullo liegt auf einen relativ großen Grundstück ein wenig abseits in ruhiger Lage. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und alles hat bestens funktioniert. Es gibt einen schönen Pool und viel Platz zum Relaxen. Ideal wenn man Ruhe sucht! Einzige Wermtstropfen: der Pool war mir persönlich mit 22 Grad zu frisch und wenn man Schatten sucht, muß man immer wandern. Generell eine echte Empfehlung!

A wonderful retreat

When we first looked at this property, my husband and I were worried that it might be too good to be true--but it turned out to be just as perfect as it seems. The gardens are plentiful and lovely, and we would walk out to clip herbs from the plants (rosemary, sage, bay) to use for dinner. The pool is bigger than we expected, and very private. There is plentiful outdoor seating, and as the sun's direction changes over the course of the day there's always a new shady spot to move to. As for location, the house is halfway between Locorotondo and Alberobello, which means you always have a market day nearby, as well as well-supplied supermarkets--but you still feel nestled in the countryside instead of adjacent to a busy town. Stable, fast internet, comfortable bed, and exceptionally responsive hosts. We felt very well taken care of. We'd definitely come stay here again.

Wonderful 2 weeks

My wife and I stayed at trullo beato for a hot two weeks in August. The house is very clean and well cared for. We rented 2 bikes from the management company and enjoyed cycling to Locorotondo and Alberobello. I would recommend this trullo for couples.

Romantic stay

My girlfriend and I stayed at Trullo Beato in the autumn of last year. The property is situated on a quiet lane but is very close to the towns of Alberobello and Locorotondo. The property was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and relaxing in the garden in the afternoons. We visited lots of towns, local markets and experienced some fantastic restaurants. Would love to return again!
