La maison de Mary est située dans un endroit idéal et charmant, à quelques pas de la mer. Il ne manque rien dans la maison, et notre hôte a été aux petits soins pour nous fournir tous les renseignements nécessaires. Heel fijn welkom door de eigenaren. Lekkere eigen gemaakte scones stonden klaar op de tafel. Namen de tijd om alles uit te leggen. Ook tijdens het verblijf een paar keer contact gehad zeer behulpzaam. Klein maar gezellige cottage met alles wat je zou wensen.

Outstanding Experience

The property was very clean and recently renovated. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us excellent information on what to do in the area and where to dine. There is golf very close by and ocean beach within walking distance. Beautiful scenery all around the area. Just an outstanding experience.

Lovely Cottage with Excellent Amenities and Hosts

This lovely cottage is the perfect getaway near the sea. Fully equipped and extremely comfortable, it offers everything you need for a restful vacation. The hosts, Marie and Tony, are wonderful and welcoming, even greeting guests with homemade scones, butter and jam. The location is ideal for walking to the nearby beaches or the city of Dungarvan. Lovely cottage

This cottage is fully equipped and extremely comfortable. It has everything you need to have a restful vacation near the sea, but code enough to do much more that day trips to other villages are not exhausting. Waterford, Ardmore are very close. The Greenway is lovely to walk. Marie and Tony are terrific hosts who welcome you with homemade scones and tea. I spent 8 nights here and could easily have stayed another week. The listing did indicate there was a washer and dryer to believe that may refer to the dishwasher. There is no clothes washer. Unfortunately the one in Dungarven is temporarily closed so I had to drive 37 km to the next closest public laundromat. This is certainly not the fault of the hosts. I include it here so the next person will be aware of this. I will certainly return to this lovely cottage sometime soon. Thanks Marie and Tony!

Great cottage with all amenities. New WiFi is excellent. A few issues with hot water but I am sure they can easily be fixed.

All around great

We and our children felt very welcome at Marie and Tony's. There was even a lovely surprise waiting for us when we arrived. The house was really charming, comfortably furnished and very well equipped. The sea is just a few meters from the house, very idyllic. We have very fond memories of our stay, thank the hosts for their hospitality and will definitely return.

Perfect vacation cottage to explore southeast Ireland

Wir waren 2 wundervolle Wochen bei Marie und Tony zu Gast. Das Häuschen ist toll, gut ausgestattet, sauber und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lovely little place. Had everything you could need. Great hosts. They came and picked us up in town the day we arrived! A touch on the small side but perfect for our needs. A car is an absolute must. 10 minute drive out of town. Great value for money. Beautiful peaceful location in the countryside. 5 min walk to a beach at either end of the road. Beautiful little town. Would highly recommend

Lovely home base for a visit

A lovely place to use as a home base. Especially if you are exploring Kinsale, Blarney, Cork, Cobb, Jameson and Waterford. Marie and Tony were delightful. The cottage does have steep stairs to the bedrooms but a wonderful cozy stay!

Lovely country getaway!

Lovely country cottage just off the Greenway. Bring your bikes and explore! Super near the Clonea Strand for a sand beach. Rocky beach meters away. Golf course across the road. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Just watch your heads upstairs as it is a thatch cottage. Lovely ambiance. Super nice owners.

A quiet holiday retreat

We spent a comfortable week in this immaculate, well equipped and beautifully presented cottage, and it was the perfect refuge from some terrible November weather. The O'Sullivans - Marie and Tony - are considerate and friendly hosts, despite the fact that neither for us are golfers. The only very slight downsides for us were a weak mobile signal indoors (thick walls) and the very basic wifi: but ours was a holiday visit after all...

Super Cottage

We spent a magic week at the cottage. Super location, with so much on your doorstep from beaches, walking + cycling routes, Dungarvan town and the Greenway to name but a few. Scones on arrival was a bonus too :) Marie and Tony are super hosts. All in all, a great holiday.

My name is Marie. My husband Tony's home place is about 15min. drive away. Several of his siblings are living in the area. We have always loved the beaches here and have spent many summer days walking the beaches of Clonea, Stradbally, Bunmahon, Annestown and Boatstrand. We both play golf and are spoiled for choice with 3 golf courses within a few minutes from the cottage.

The reason we bought here is, it is a unique location, adjacent to golf courses, fishing and beaches. We love to walk in Colligan Woods or to stroll up to the Mahon Falls. We go for walks on Clonea beach nearly every day. Sometimes we cycle into Dungarvan using the cycle paths provided. They are so safe. We bring our grandchildren on the paths with us. The Deise Grreenway is now open so you can walk / Cycle to Waterford on the Greenway from Dungarvan . We go over to Durrow and go through the tunnel and onto the viaduct. The views from the Greenway are fabulous. Children love to cycle /walk down to the beach near the cottage and search for crabs etc in the pools on the rocks. The location of the cottage is great for travelling around the south of Ireland.

We play lots of golf. You can play all 3 three course in Dungarvan for €69 - great value and wonderful courses. If you are over 50 you can get even better value on open days for seniors. Waterford Castle golf course is Both of these are wonderful courses. We have a house close to the cottage.We really enjoy Dungarvan with its many eating spots, pubs with traditional music.You must not miss the pub in the Square named The Local if you love traditional music.
Sometimes when we feel energetic we cycle into Dungarvan town using the cycling paths. Really safe if you have children. The Deise greenway is now open . Great to cycle, jog or walk along.
