A very enjoyable stay in Antwerp

We spent a very enjoyable week in this house. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped for five persons. It is located in a nice and quiet suburb close to the city center (5 minutes walk + 10 minutes tram ride). Christophe and Werenfried were very attentive hosts, and they gave us many tips for exploring the city and the surrounding area. We recommend this accommodation without reservation, and we look forward to the opportunity to come back one day.

Weekend Getaway

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway from Copenhagen. We'd never been to Antwerp and we aren't city central type people. Christophe's townhouse was PERFECT! It is located a short walk from the Berchem train station and about a 30 minute walk from the Centrale station, in a fairly quiet, family neighborhood. The house itself is very comfortable with all the amenities one could need. The host and his partner even had the refrigerator stocked with a large bottle of water, some soft drinks, and a bottle of wine. How thoughtful! My only concern, which wasn't a major concern was the staircases. They are rather short and steep, but not worrisome. Just something to note for a young family or someone with mobility concerns. The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Again, every detail was thought of. And Christophe and his partner live just next door for any additional questions or concerns.Around the corner is Jardin Public. I highly recommend this restaurant cafe, as my wife is a non-drinker and they had an excellent selection or mocktails. Between the townhouse and the train station are a number of restaurants, bakeries and corner shops. Do yourself a favor and go to the Simply Bakery for cupcakes. The selection is amazing and the owner is so kind! We were able to get into downtown by foot easily, although you could rent bikes just outside the house too. Overall, a wonderful stay! We would definitely come here again!

Schönes Ferienhaus, gut gelegen

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern und Enkelkindern 5 schöne Tage verlebt. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hatten uns zur Begrüßung etwas zu trinken hingestellt und einen Parkplatz zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig und verkehrstechnisch günstig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Großzügige Unterkunft in netter Umgebung

Das Haus hat einen großen Wohn-/Essbereich, zwei große und ein kleines Schlafzimmer. An allen Fenstern sind Fliegengitter, die man auch braucht. Die Ausstattung ist größtenteils modern mit netten Details wie Shampoo und einer Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung. Der Gastgeber ist engagiert und reagiert schnell auf alle Anfragen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem ruhigen, freundlichen Wohnviertel, allerdings etwas abgelegen von Antwerpens Innenstadt. Der Bahnhof Berchem lässt sich in einer Viertelstunde zu Fuß erreichen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Klasse Wohnung

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit 3 Schlafzimmern für 5 Personen. 1 Bad/WC. Der Vermieter Christophe hat auch ein Kleinigkeiten gedacht wie WIFI Code, Hinweis zu den Bahnlinien. Küche komplett eingerichtet mit Gasherd und Spülmaschine. Es waren sogar Taps und Abtrockentücher da. Betten waren bezogen und alles sehr nett hergerichtet, Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hat alles gut erklärt. Ich würde sofort wieder dahin fahren. Zur Bahnlinie 5min zu Fuss, dann ca. 10-15 min zum Grote Platz

Exzellente Innenstadtlage in vergleichsweise ruhiger Nebenstraße. TOP!

Sehr nette und freundliche Begrüßung durch den Vermieter, sehr schönes Ferienhaus mitten in Antwerpen, sehr zentral gelegen, trotzdem aber für Innenstadtlage sehr ruhige Umgebung. Parkplätze waren für uns fast immer problemlos zu finden. Auch die Tram und Bushaltestellen sind nicht weit entfernt und sowohl Bus als auch Tram fahren regelmäßig. Es gibt sogar eine Fahrradmietstation in der Straße, ca. 50 bis 100m vom Haus entfernt. Dafür benötigt man allerdings ein Smartphone am besten inklusive mobiler Internetverbindung. Mehrere Bäckereien und Supermärkte sind in direkter Umgebung. Den kleinen städtischen Flughafen in der Nähe nimmt man kaum war und auch die Nahe gelegene Autobahn und Zugstrecke sind kaum bis gar nicht wahrnehmbar. Alles in allem einfach nur TOP!
