Fabulous villa

We had a great stay at Star in the Med. The villa was spotless and the owners were great - always on hand if you needed anything. The pool is fantastic. Location is lovely and quiet with great views. Would definitetly stay here again.

Beautiful Home in Quaint Village Near Limassol

Convenient home in a great location. Very comfortable for a family to use as a base to explore Cyprus. Marie and Kevin were great to work with too. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful villa!

We had a fantastic week in Cyprus and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Marie has been brilliant throughout and was both helpful and flexible in the run-up to our visit given the uncertainty about whether travel would be possible. The villa is beautiful, the kitchen really well equipped and the pool a highlight of the holiday!

Truly wonderful

Extraordinary luxury villa with a big heart. Amazing views, very private feel. Many qualities among which the outside area is unbeatable, but also fantastic interior with a lot of extras as billiard, gym, cinema. Kevin and Marie very helpful and kind.

Beautiful spacious villa

We had a lovely 2 week stay. The villa is just 10 minutes drive from Limassol and we did a few outings. The villa is modern and spacious and pretty. Nice varied areas indoors and outdoors so if you are in a group you are not on top of eachother. The owners are helpful and easy to contact with advice or issues.

Photos to not do justice ( and they are amazing) to this beautiful spacious property. We have just had an amazing week and only felt the need to go out for dinner twice, as it was so beautiful, dining outside and swimming every evening was just heaven - even the teenage kids were happy. Highly recommend this amazing property. Do not hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed 😊

Great late sun break

We travelled for my wife's 50th birthday with a range of ages. Safe to say we had a great time. The villa is superb, with all amenities you could possibly need. Maria and Kevin were great resources and helped in all aspects to ensure activities & local knowledge were max'ed. We couldn't have had a better time. Loved it and would be our place of choice when going back to Cyprus. Thanks Maria & Kevin!

a stunning and quiet place to stay

We all enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa located in quiet Monagroulli. Marie and Kevin are kind and helpful tenants who have shared with us the great locations around for a good dinner, drink, ... thanks much! The villa is very practical, the amenities are excellent, and the sun is shining. What else can we expect? Coming back....oh yes.

Simply AMAZING, stunning property

If you are looking to be taken care of like family/royalty, and also enjoy this fantastic home, rent it. What a great house for our first visit to Cyprus. It made all the difference for us to enjoy every morning, and look forward to come home after days of adventures. Beautiful views, tasteful interiors, gourmet kitchen, and ongoing care of our hosts -- far above expectations. Pictures do not do this property justice. Perfect Family Holiday

The villa was everything we wanted and more. It was perfect. The interior of the villa is really special...everything you will need for a complete holiday. The weather was so good that we lived outside...and that space is amazing. The pictures are great but it is even better when you are there. Fabulous views and fantastic to live outside for the week. you need a car and then the beach and shops are all within striking distance. The owners of the villa set up a whatsapp chat and their recommendations...local taxi...food delivery and Dragons Nest Taverna...were all perfect. We will definitely return.

Stunning property!!!

This property does not disappoint, even more beautiful than pictures depict - the views are stunning, a true piece of paradise. Kitchen is more than fully equipped and the outside areas are fabulous, especially at night with all the lighting , making bbq nights in, magical - We would thoroughly recommend this house as a chill-out base for exploring Limassol and it’s beautiful marina and beyond. Perfectly situated near to the main motorway (but not so near that you can see or hear it) and the b roads which make light of visiting the incredible blue flag beaches and surrounding towns. Totally loved our time here, thank you Marie and Kevin for being wonderful hosts and on hand for anything! The Chadwick-Jones family

Thanks for your lovely review Kate. Our location is great for exploring and Limassol is not so far from other towns and the mountains. Our East Limassol location has the best resorts and hotels. The evenings are magical here at our "Star in the Med' tranquil after a beautiful sunset and then the lights over the villages and then the stars. Glad your girls also loved our place . Stunning villa.

A spacious villa, superbly set up for two families. I cannot rate this villa enough , the view is amazing with a lovely pool and well equipped kitchen. The villa is beautifully decorated to a high standard with loads of extras: outdoor kitchen, local area is great if you like walking/hiking/running, gym, cinema room, outdoor lounge, day bed, and x2 stunning balconies. The teenage kids enjoyed their time here although it’s not practical for very young children. Maria was a super host and couldn’t help us enough. We had family living in the next village so location was ideal.

The sundown deck seating and planting is this season's addition . We must upload new photos. The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to cook and for those who don't there are great eateries ,takeout and delivery. Our area is a great location for sea and countryside for the energetic and for those who just want to relax with a book and drink around the pool. It most certainly is a STAR 🌟 IN THE MED

From the moment I booked this property there was nothing but excellent service. Maria was amazing with directions to the property she gave me a list of places of interest and local amenities and was on hand if we required anything. This Villa is exceptional! Beautifully clean, spacious, modern with a wonderful pool and outside area. We didn't leave, we cooked every day on the barbecue, stayed around the pool, then watched the breath taking sunsets every night. This really is a fabulous place and I would highly recommend. It was a complete surprise for my husbands 40th birthday and he was truly blown away. Can't wait to revist.

Great Villa!

Just spent a week in this great villa, and can only recommend it. As others have said, it is far better in reality than in the photos with lots of space both indoors and out, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, and with the gas barbecue it is ideal for cooking your own meals. There is a great pool, and plenty of outdoor areas in sun or shade to relax in. All rooms are spacious with comfy beds, excellent showers, etc. Due to the great weather we spent most of the week outdoors, but the TV, games room, gym, cinema etc means that it would also be ideal more out of season. Good location, just 5-10 minutes of A1 means it is easy to get to lots of the island. The hosts were great, giving lots of advice on what to see and do, and communication was always very responsive. Would definitely recommend and can see why this villa is constantly rated as 5 star.

Wonderful villa with amazing views

We are so happy we chose to stay at Maries villa. As many reviews are saying - the pictures doesn't do it justice. We found that the best features of the villa was the fully equipped kitchen, the pool and outdoor area. This villa is perfect if you are looking for a place to hang out, enjoy food and relax with your family and friends. The surrounding area is quiet, but the villa is not too far from the main road and a short drive from Limassol. There was a nice bakery a short distance from the villa as well as a shop where you could buy fresh fruit. All in all, you won't regret renting this place. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets! Note: The villa has four bedrooms. This was a bit confusing for us since the description at vrbo said six bedrooms.

Amazing Villa in the hills

This is a fantastic villa, beautifully furnished and very open and spacious - we were 3 adult couples and there was just so much room in the villa both inside and out that we didn't ever feel we were on top of each other. This is the perfect place for a relaxing break, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, however, there are several lovely beaches within a short drive It is slightly isolated up in the hills but is so well equipped for cooking and BBQ that we chose to lunch out and stay in for most of our evening meals - however, there are several restaurants locally that will deliver and and a lovely authentic little local taverna in the village about 5 mins walk from the villa with a great selection of food and wine. Marie was the perfect host, really responsive to our questions about the area and full of local information including sorting a taxi for our full day trip into the mountains to visit the wineries. I cant recommend this villa highly enough and we will be back next year

Janice thanks for your great review. Glad you managed to do the wine tour we recommended and that you explored the village and much more . Space is a luxury and nice to group together and areas to be more tranquil. We have a few good returning guests and we look forward to see you again next year.

Perfect space to relax

As other reviews have correctly stated, the photos don’t do it justice; nor the comments about being well equipped - there were contraptions in the utility room I had never seen before! Marie and Kevin were perfect hosts, there if we needed anything but a discrete stones throw away. The pool area was amazing, from the comfy sun beds to the Bluetooth speaker, lights, BBQ, and numerous seating areas. The bedrooms were all very spacious and the downstairs rooms cool enough to sleep without needing aircon (though there if you wanted it). The kids loved the pool table, gym and the 85” TV complete with Netflix and YouTube. The location is great, but a car needed. Less than 15 mins to numerous bars and restaurants in Limassol, though good take away options also available with menus to hand, and how they know the villa for ease of delivery. Will definitely book again next time we come to Cyprus.

Thanks for taking time to share your experience. We are happy you appreciated our amenities. The addition of 85" TV and Netflix is a good upgrade, which we always try and continually add something new :) Our location is beautiful for views and tranquility. So many new businesses popping up nearby too. We are located so near to the finest resorts. Easy access to visit other towns and enjoy village tavernas on our side of Limassol. We do assist our guests with tips to have a great relaxing break. We would happily host a future stay.

Peace and Quite with Comfort

We have stayed at this beautiful villa before and that's why we had to come back. The reason we chose this villa on our first stay was that the outdoors offered more than your average villa rental. As well as the pool, it has an outside jacuzzi and really importantly comfortable outdoors seating that you can relax as this is were you spend most of your time. The villa is not overlooked and the views are amazing. Having said that and that is enough to make us come back, I really have to mention just how comfortable the beds are. Not one of has had a bad nights sleep. Also those of you that wish to cook at this villa, you will not be disappointed. Even though I did not cook once, the kitchen is stocked with everything and anything you could possibly need and lastly but by no means least, Kevin and Marie the owners with the help of Augustin will make sure everything is superd during your stay. Fantastic villa with wow factor

We stayed with 2 adult couples and 2 children and had a fantastic time. From the moment we booked, communication from the hosts was great, and they were on hand throughout our stay, immediately answering any Whatsapp queries, including plenty of local recommendations. We arrived late at night and they left out a lovely welcome basket for us with wine, bread and fruit which was much appreciated. There are some lovely traditional tavernas a short drive away - we particularly enjoyed the small plates restaurant in Asgata and Dragon's Nest. There is also a good bakery a couple of minutes drive away (or 25 mins walk) that is open until 9pm most nights. The villa itself is enormous and has the wow factor as soon as you walk in. The facilities in the kitchen make it feel like a home from home and everywhere was very clean. The outside pool area is fantastic - very peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of different areas to sit and enjoy a drink as the sun goes down. A few restaurants deliver to the villa and you can see why people wonder why you'd want to leave once you're there!

Thanks for this review and sharing your experience at our place. We are always trying out new places and little day trips to also share with our guests. Our area does have great village tavernas. Fruit and Veg store with local cheese and Cypriot products now open plus a pharmacy also opening soon. The sun is still shining now in mid November :)

Star in Med

We originally booked just before COVID, but had to cancel due to restrictions. Marie and Kevin make the whole process easy and their team are wonderful in keeping everything clean and tidy. The instructions and details are meticulous. Then you arrive at the villa, the pictures do not do the property justice and the whole family were wowed by it from the start. It is a wonderful home and with plenty of room to enjoy time with the family but enough space that you are not on top of each other. The villa is well stocked and we cooked in the kitchen, on the barbecue and enjoyed some of the taverna's as well. The villa is a "Star in the Med" and is a wonderful home and its in beautiful settings allowing you to use the outside area, especially the pool. My children spent everyday in the pool and even had a dip on the day we left. The villa feels comfortable from the time you arrive and the village is charming, quiet and completely safe. We will be booking again and look forward an early return. Ash

NOT disappointed, WOW

We have been fortunate enough to of stayed in this Villa a few times now, it’s like meeting an old friend and how you become so relaxed and settle in very easily. The Villa has everything you can think of to make your stay special, if you want to cook there is a fully functional well equipped kitchen and if you feeling adventurous a BBQ or the traditional clay oven. The views are amazing to the sea or around across the surrounding mountains from sunrise to sunset it’s beautiful. The pool is clean and had plenty of use at all hours from the adults and children and not cold at anytime. We also discovered a few more local tavernas this time around and ate out but also had delivered to relax and eat and drink under the night sky and treated to a fireworks display from the nearby hotels in Limassol. This is a beautiful private and secluded Villa tucked away with the owners Kevin and Marie always on hand to deal with any questions or requests, nothing ever to much for them. We had a fabulous time and really managed to unwind and relax, regretting being at home now and wish we were still in Cyprus we miss it already. Thank you for all you had done to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. See you next year Jon

Fab Holiday in top luxury and style

A most beautiful property in a quiet setting with fabulous views. Everything you could ever dream of needing is there ready to use. A property clearly used as a home not just as a holiday let. We had really hot weather at the end of May (in the 30's), the pool is fab for swimming and whilst not heated was not at all cold in late May. The hot tub was a joy in the evenings. There is so much space at this property that you can spend time with family and friends or find a quiet space away from them. The games room, gym and cinema room would have been great had the weather not been so good, but we were still outside at midnght so never got around to using them. The roads through the village are narrow but you quickly get use to them. There are good places to eat within a short drive, we also ate in using the BBQ and had a take away delivered - both of which we enjoyed enormously. The village has a small well stocked mini supermarket which is within walking distance, the local bakery is a short drive away. As we knew beforehand the twin room doesn't have an ensuite, there is however a toilet and basin on the ground floor, and an extra shower room on the lower ground floor, so that's an option if you don't want your teenagers or friends trapsing in and out of the master bedroom - it's a bit of a hike down the two long flights of stairs, a small inconvenience when weighed against what is over all a most remarkable and gorgeous property.

We love waking up to the tranquility of our hilltop retreat. We are on the east side of Limassol with the beautiful blue flag beaches of St.Raphael Beach and Marina.
