Stunning view, excellent apartment, wonderful stay

I honestly can't say enough good things about our stay. Marissa and her partner were great hosts, very friendly and helpful, and the apartment was even better than expected. The kitchen is well (but not over-) equipped, the showers were great and the whole place was spotlessly clean. And that view!! It was hard some days to drag ourselves away! Yes, the steps are the price you pay for it, and I definitely advise having easily-carried baggage, but as someone who generally hates climbing stairs and hills, I can honestly say that it was worth it. Watching the steam train chuff in and out every day was an unexpected highlight! We fell totally in love with Kingswear, Dartmouth and this apartment, and while we were there, we were already talking about when we can come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely property with amazing views

A really stunning location and well presented apartment. Plenty of room, very comfortable beds and very cosy. The steps to the property are a bit challenging, especially if the weather is not kind; you really need to travel light! However, this is explained, so we knew what to expect! It is worth it for the view though.

Stunning views

Accommodation was perfect for our needs, well equipped kitchen, I’d drop the dishwasher for a washing machine/dryer We all loved the views from the lounge area, lots to see and there was always something going on in or around the harbour below. All the rooms were clean and well presented, great location and would love to go back.

Amazing views and worth the climb

Stayed for a few days last week with my dad and sister's family and it was a really lovely place. The location is amazing and the views were second to none; there are a lot of steps to the flat but we were well warned ahead of time. Marissa was very friendly and accommodating and we received some very good suggestions on everything from where to park to things to do in the area. The flat was very well laid out and perfectly clean with two balconies in the back for some outdoor space. I would highly recommend this place.

This is a fantastic property in a stunning location. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the views are amazing. The photographs can't really do it justice and it's definitely worth the climb up the steps. We would have loved to stay for longer.

Fabulous, comfortable property in the heart of Dartmouth/Kingswear

Fantastic property with absolutely amazing views. Very comfortable, well equipped with stylish decor and a helpful, responsive host. Parking is very easy in the marina carpark opposite the property. Lovely pub two minutes down the road which does fantastic pizzas and also easy to get into Dartmouth on the passenger ferry which crosses super frequently and well into the evening so you can choose any of the restaurants Dartmouth has to offer as well.

Fantastic flat with breathtaking views

We had a great weekend. The flat was in a really lovely location and made the most of it. You had to climb a few steps to get to it but the view more than made up for this. It was nicely decorated and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very helpful with suggesting local parking and places to eat. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay and would definitely go back again.

A very special place !

This has been our first stay in Devon and we don't think we could have chosen anywhere better. The area offers so much variety of things to do and see for varied preferences, in an area of outstanding beauty. This apartment has everything on its doorstep, steps being the word!! But worth every effort for the amazing view. Entertainment itself just looking out of the window - various river activity, ferry boats, paddle steamer, cruisers, steam railway, air activity and wildlife. The accommodation is very comfortable and well equiped. We hope to stay here again.

Outstanding flat and views, would come again in a heart beat!

Spend lazy hours snacking and drinking on the patio over looking one of the best views in Devon. Or venture out to all the best tourist sites in the area which are right on the doorstep. Perfect place to cook your own meals and avoid long drives to get anywhere. Relaxing!

Excellent accommodation

We spent 2 nights in this apartment, 5 adults in total. We had a job to get off the settees, as we watched a "moving picture". Views are fantastic. Of course to get views of this calibre you have to climb the steps. So my advice is to pack rucksacks and keep luggage to the bare minimum. Apartment was well equipped and the outside decking area would be lovely in the summer. Marissa, the owner, is on the ball with her fast replies. We certainly hope to get back later in the year.

Great apartment with an amazing view!

Wanted to spend a couple of days away with friends and two dogs and got attracted to this apartment by the photo of the view.... and we weren’t disappointed! The apartment is clean, well equipped and designed to make the most of views of the river, Dartmouth and the steam train - always lots to look at! Great base to explore this part of Devon. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off by the steps, they add to the whole experience and the winding climb is well worth the effort....Would definitely return!!

A fabulous property with breathtaking views and everything required for a relaxing stay

Don't let the stairs put you off. Once you have overcome the initial climb you won't be disappointed. This holiday apartment is perfect for a family stay and is deceptively spacious. The owners were friendly and accommodating and the selection of books, games and DVD's were fabulous but underused on account of the mesmerizing view from the window and terrace. A great base, we hardly used our car and utilised all modes of public transport inclusive of the steam railway, river and fabulous local bus service. Parking is only an issue if you make it, plenty of free parking on the edges of the village and a great walk and opportunity to explore the village and marvel at the amazing and innovative use of space. The property was clean and comfortably furnished we only wished we could have stayed longer.
