Hillside Farmhouse With 12m x 6m Pool In Panoramic Countryside.

Dear Jackie, Thank you for your review “ Lovely pool and setting” . However I was sorry you had few problems. If I could offer some explanations on each of the point you raise: 1. Roufiat is a genuine farmhouse in the Dordogne, as the photographs show, so the style of the house would be considerably different to a Villa. 2. I personally cleaned the house – so I know it was done thoroughly. The dishwasher is brand new so I would agree that it perhaps needs some adjustments to get it to wash better. Thank you for pointing that out. 3. The satellite internet broadband is limited to 20 Gb – so can only assume that your 3 teenage children were inside using it rather a lot – I will advise a little more moderation to future guests. I’ve never had it run out of credit before. 4. The broadband worked perfectly for your first week but I was told late on a Friday that it had stopped. I had to wait until Monday to get it reinstated. 5. If there is a thunder storm in the area the power might be cut for a short time – but as I explained to your husband – that does not affect the pool filtration as it’s on a clock – it just comes on at a different time. 6. The whole house was redecorated 2 years ago but I’ll have it done again ready for next year. 7. It is standard practice to request that guest remove rubbish to the council bins and leave the property as tidy as it was found – otherwise you can imagine the potential mess. The cleaner was something you organised because you were leaving very early on the day of departure and paid her 60E to sort things out for you. It cost more than that to do a full clean.
