Penthouse with a view!

Love this Penthouse and have stayed before. It is decorated tastefully and comfy beds.There is a cool football pitch around the back! Just two things , it is extremely noisy with seagulls on the roof!It was freezing when we arrived as the heating is turned off until you arrive. Tara the manager/owner is always helpful. seagulls on the roof!

Needs some attention

Found the apartment very easily, kitchen and lounge very nice except for patio which when opening the doors lots of dirt fell hadn’t been cleaned for while. Both showers need the grouting changed it’s black and dirty, the small bedroom didn’t seem to have been cleaned drawers were very dusty and the carpet was covered in hairs and dirty, both bed bases have slashes in the material didn’t look nice at all. Was very disappointed as the photos looked so different in some of the rooms. Also on Saturday afternoon there was a knock at the door from a guest booking in to flat 2 she demanded that we didn’t lock bottom door as it was against health and safety, we said we locked it as we were provided with a key as a security measure, she said she had spoken to owner and she was told to inform us not lock the door. My husband was then accosted by another member of the party and badgered again about not to lock the door, if this is the case this should be in the checking in details. Photos can be provided if required.

Great property and location

Lovely apartment, spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. Location is great, a nice quiet area, a few minutes walk to restaurants and amenities, 10 minute walk to the town centre and right on the beach and West Cliff facilities. Stayed here twice now, will stay again!

Appartement mit Meerblick

Die Wohnung war sauber, die Betten gemacht und wir hatten eine super Aussicht auf die Nordsee. Leider fehlten uns die Kaffemaschine. Für vier Personen waren leider zu wenig Töpfe, Schüsseln und Kochzubehör vorhanden. Zusätzlich fehlten sowas wie Steckdosen im Badezimmer für den Föhn oder Rasierer. Das kleine Badezimmer konnte von uns nicht genutzt werden, durch Schimmel in der Dusche. Im Laufe des Urlaubs ist das Schloss der oberen Tür kaputt gegangen, darum wurde sich aber direkt zeitnah gekümmert :) Alles in allem hatte das Appartement eine gute Lage, war sauber und je nach Anspruch war es dennoch sehr schön.

Apartment and view were very good and comfortable.

The property is very comfortable roomy and clean wasn’t aware the apartment was situated between a Residential home. Parking was good unloading it little difficult.

Amazing penthouse apartment local to west cliff

The apartment was clean modern and comfortable. The instructions on arrival very precise accurate and helpful. The views over the sea are amazing and the gardens and pitch from the back windows beautiful. The penthouse is in a beautiful position within easy walking distance of all the amenities on the west cliff. This includes mini and crazy golf courses, cafe’s and of course steps down to the harbour and shops. We enjoyed a lovely Italian meal in Cosa Nostra restaurant which is just over the bridge and a fab fish and chip meal in the famous Magpie cafe. Highly recommend this plac and will be returning .

Excellent views of the sea

The property was lovely and clean throughout, with a superb view of the bay. All the appliances were new and easy to operate.

Fantastic Apartment with Sea View

Lovely bright modern apartment, that has a fantastic sea view. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the numerous windows means it’s really bright and airy. There’s plenty of room for four people and it’s well equipped if you want to cook a meal.

Lovely apartment in Whitby

Beautifully presented property which is close to all the Whitby attractions. Great views from the sitting and dining areas. Very light and bright space. Excellent kitchen and bathroom. The ensuite in the double bedroom is small but perfectly functional. The twin room is very small, more suitable for children than 2 adults but we realised that before we booked and it was comfortable enough for 3 nights. Take care with your 2 day parking scratch card, traffic wardens were especially strict. Highly recommend The Magpie restaurant.

Very tastefully decorated and home from home!

We loved the penthouse, it was beautifully decorated to a high standard. It was home from home and a good location for us as we like walking. Will probably re-visit. It would make it even better if the heating had been on an hr before our arrival, as was quite cold being winter.

Excellent location and fabulous view.

Roomy apartment and furnished to a good quality. Sadly let down by finding dirty cutlery, chipped crockery, short black hairs on the duvet and sheet and an accumulation of dead flies in one of the living room light fittings (not pleasant to look at - which we cleaned) There was also a lack of cooking utensils/ spatulas/serving spoons etc. That said, we had a wonderfully peaceful stay and would therefore return.

Lovely apartment

This is a great property in a stunning location. The views were great and the apartment is clean and spacious. Parking was a real bonus. Instructions re luggage drop off were clear. The only negative was we were asked to leave the cooker clean and the trays. The owner obviously isn’t aware that the cooker isn’t clean. When I used it the smoke alarm was activated because of this. Not a problem for us but feel the owner needs to know this .

Good location

This is a nice property for a family of four however it is not good for two couples as the second bedroom is tiny, has nowhere to hang anything and has no bedside table or reading lamp (no room for one). The bathrooms are excellent. The view from the lounge is great but the chairs are not terribly comfortable. The kitchen area is quite well equipped but the fridge has nowhere to stand bottles as this door fitment is missing.

Excellent accommodation

Very clean and to a very high standard apartment. Good location with excellent sea view and good paid for parking in parking zone on road outside. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time. Location was perfect. A freezer would have been useful and a small bistro set for the balcony would have been perfect. Would recommend.

Excellent stay again.

We have stayed here several times and really enjoyed ourselves. However, if I was been super critical the sofa and chairs aren't the most comfortable now and the lounge carpet could do with a clean. Also the shower door handle kept coming off. But this didn't stop us enjoying ourselves and the view. many thanks Maurice and Karen.

Delighted with this lovely stay. Decor and bathroom and kitchen high standard. Spotlessly clean, bed comfy, slept so well. All you need is provided. Good wifi and no problem with parking. Perfect location. Seaview. Thoroughly recommend. Faultless. A credit to the owners.

It has a lovely view of the sea and is walking distance to the town centre. A luxury Penthouse Apartment, conversion was completed in January 2013 and was designed so as to maximise the views from every window.

Built to the highest standards by a local builder and furnished and decorated to exacting standards. It’s ideal for that special break.
