Wonderful Spot!

This place was absolutely lovely, very clean, and well stocked with essentials. The location was perfect for us, just a little walk to where our family lives down the street. Giez is just an absolutely stunning place and this VRBO was everything we could have asked for in a rental. The host was responsive whenever I had any questions and check in/out were easy.

Lovely family home in a perfect location in the middle of the peaceful, historic village of Giez

Just back from two weeks stay at the property and I can't sing it praises enough....the house was perfect for us (two adults and three teen children) the kids monopolised upstairs (two bedrooms and lounge) and my wife and I downstairs with our own bedroom and en-suite. Living "areas" outside were spot on too...the garden is not directly overlooked and perfect for a bit of a chill out and eating outside (we BBQ'd every night). The cycle trail is about 1 km away and local shops etc a 10 minute drive. Being in the centre of the village was very colloquial but also peaceful....the cows commute through the village every day and are close enough at night for the bells to usher you to sleep. Well equipped with all you need (including WIFI, bikes and locks, golf clubs).....REALLY REALLY recommended ..... thank-you the Dent Family/

Casa muy bonita y espaciosa. Situada a 1 mn a pie de "La Ferme de Gy". Perfecta para para unas vacaciones en montaña. Hay de todo en la cocina. Hay juegos y Dvd. Hay un salón en la planta alta, donde se puede ver la montaña con nieve. Precioso. El comedor es espacioso. 2 habitaciones bastante grandes y una mas pequeña. Un baño grande abajo y uno pequeño arriba. Se puede aparcar detras de la casa. Nos encantó.

Nous avons adoré la terrasse super agréable l'été avec la vue sur les montagnes. La maison est accueillante, chaleureuse, bien équipée et bien située. A signaler, les chambres des enfants sont en enfilade (pas gênant si enfants) et il fait un peu chaud la nuit en cas de fortes chaleur (des ventilateurs sont a disposition). Tres bon sejour.

Wunderschönes historisches Häuschen in super ruhiger Lage

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Man ist mit dem Auto sehr schnell am See. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind auch in der Nähe. Die Kommunikation zu den Besitzern war prima.wurdewurde sofort aug

Week-end familial au calme

Nous avons passés un court séjour très agréable dans cette maison bien aménagée et confortable. Elle est juste à côté de la ferme de Giez où nous étions invité à un mariage; très pratique. L'hôte Natalie est très compréhensive et arrangeante. Merci.

Très belle maison

Parfait. La maison est très mignonne très bien aménagée. Nous y étions comme chez nous, très confortablement installée. Un peu éloignée des premiers commerces mais idéale pour nous qui avions un mariage à la ferme de GY située juste au-dessus. Je recommande et garde l'adresse pour y retourner.

Heel leuk huis met fijne tuin.

Net en schoon vakantiehuis. Met heerlijke tuin, met voldoende schaduw in de zomer. Gelegen in een rustig dorpje op ca. 10 min rijden van het meer van Annecy. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Keuken zeer compleet, zelfs spelletjes/ speelgoed. Goede communicatie met verhuurder. Badkamers zijn wat kleiner, maar prima te doen. Fijn dat ouder slaapkamer op begane grond is, kinderen kunnen boven slapen.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday

We spent a fantastic summer week at this special place. The apartment is very cosy, lovely decorated and perfectly equipped. The surroundings are just beautiful and the atmosphere in Giez is magic.

Great house and host!!

Great communication with the host, clear instructions for check-in and out. Very comfortable beds. Very clean house in a quiet neighborhood. A little hard to find the first time but followed the instructions and did not have any trouble. Will stay again.

Cozy Village Home

This property is charming and its location in a quiet village is hard to beat. The rooms are warm and clean with all the amenities. The owners are lovely, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. If you are looking for an authentic stay in the French Alps, this is for you. Merci beaucoups to Natalie and Francois!

Diese Unterkunft kann man jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Familienhaus war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, mit unkomplizierten Vermietern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We are an Franco-anglo couple, my husband is French and I am British, we have 2 young boys 4 & 6 years. We have travelled extensively over the year but decided to make our home in Annecy, its my husbands home town and I fell in love with the area before we had even met.

We fell in love with the property even before it went up for sale, its has so much character and charm and the garden is perfect for our 2 young boys. Its close to all local amenities, lake, ski fields and the golf course!

Giez is such a pretty village, traditional giving a true feeling of being in the mountains, close to the lake and to nature. Its a great location with small children, safe and quiet with lots of things to do on the doorstep.
