Nous avons passee un tres bon moment au coeur de la normandie. La maison etait tes bien et notre hote très gentille avec de tres belles attentions. Nous esperons pouvoir revenir.

Location correspondant en tous points au descriptif, idéalement située pour rayonner sur le Nord Cotentin et gérée par une propriétaire très accueillante, disponible et à l'écoute. Vraiment un excellent séjour.

There are several small shops with in walking distance, the pastries are awesome. The hosts are very lovely couple. The yard in the back has a very nice place to sit and relax. The shower is great for even tall people! We stayed during Dday anniversary and found it centrally located to what we were doing Saint- mere- Eglise is less than 15 minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Excellent séjour en Cotentin

Gîte très agréable et très bien équipé. Localisation parfaite pour sillonner la région et visiter de nombreux sites. Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

Agréable séjour

Très bon accueil. Le logement est chaleureux. Il y a une première cour où l'on peut manger dehors et un jardinet avec herbe. Les commerces (boulangerie, boucherie, carrefour contact, pharmacie) et marché sont juste à côté à pieds. Seul bémol : escalier raide pour les enfants.

British home en Cotentin

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances, en rayonnant beaucoup autour de la maison, tout est très joli! Petit bémol, nous pensions arriver dans un petit hameau de campagne, mais la maison est sur une route assez passante de village. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très accueillants, leur petite maison est chaleureuse et familiale.

Logement très agréable et fonctionnel

Je recommande vivement cette petite maison avec spacieuse terrasse extérieure. Les hôtes nous ont très gentiment et généreusement accueillis (du pain et du vin nous attendaient). La maison sur deux étages est hyper fonctionnelle. Tout est joliment décoré, on se sent bien, comme chez soi. A proximité des deux côtes et des marais, la maison est idéalement située pour explorer le Cotentin. Un grand merci pour ce séjour et cet accueil !

Petite maison très agréable

Les photos sont fidèles. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le fait que la maison soit en centre bourg permet des facilités pour les courses, pain, journaux, alimentation d'appoint.... Les chambres à l'étage sont un coin nuit, idéales pour les enfants en bas âge, au niveau du bruit. la cour et le jardin ont été appréciés. Les propriétaires ont été présents et à l'écoute en cas de besoin.

Propriétaires très accueillants. Étaient présents tous les 2 pour la découverte et mise à disposition du logement. Qui nous avaient gentiment installé un lit parapluie et une chaise haute. Dommage que la météo ne nous a pas permise de profiter de la cour extérieure qui est bien plus grande que ce qu'elle ne parait sur les photos

Mike and I retired from teaching at the end of 2002 and moved to the property at the beginning of 2003. As an art teacher and artist Mike was drawn to the proportions of this 19th century property. For Chris it was an opportunity to continue her love of the French language. In Bournemouth we had welcomed language students into our home for a number of years.We were just continuing the work here in Normandy.
Now 18 years plus later we have down-sized from the large 19th century house next to the Lodge and now live 5 minutes out of the village in a more conveniently sized property.
Chris still leads the local choir and I am now able to manage the DIY and the garden on a smaller scale. I will soon have a new studio up and running!

The Lodge is in the centre of our village of Pont L'Abbe in the commune of Picauville.
We enjoy a varied life here and are never bored. There is plenty to get involved with as well as enjoying where we live, the Manche, a tranquil,beautiful, safe and friendly place.
