Wonderful cottage in a great location. Cosy, warm and door to the lovely pub with a great little shop 1 min walk away. Comfy beds and perfectly clean.

An amazing cottage in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean, very well kitted out for a family stay. Lovely and warm, the pictures dont do any justice to this place. Wish we stayed longer

The cottage was clean and delightful. Most amenities (for Americans) are suitable. We were hoping for a proper coffee maker, instead there was the French press. Doable but messy. The accommodations were immaculate and comfy. Washer and dryer a plus. We selected this quaint cottage for being so close to Skye. Sadly, the ferry was down for repairs and the day it was up and running was pouring rain. Not the cottage owners fault. Before going, stop at the large coop outside of town for essentials. The glenelg store had some things but not a lot. The glenelg inn, which is next door to the cottage is warm, friendly with a limited menu but good service and pub fare, lots of vegetarian selections. Rob, the bartender is cordial. Tim, the waiter was very friendly. We were thrilled to see so many dogs were welcome! Something not quite as popular (yet) in the USA . The views to the loch outside were phenomenal. This is a wonderful place to get away and have privacy and peace. There is not much to do except walk the beach and various trails. As someone who has had a full knee replacement recently the trails weren’t an option, for me but my travel partners loved it.

This cottage was excellently presented. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. There is an excellent pub next door, with very friendly staff and the village community shop is very close and the staff were very obliging (if there is anything you would like that we haven’t got just ask and we’ll get it for you-and they did). The location is very quiet, if a little remote. Ideal for a relaxing holiday.

We've stayed in a number of holiday lets and this was probably the best equipped, cleanest and most comfortable. We couldn't find faults anywhere - the electrical equipment, the heating, the bed and the fire - all exceeded our expectations. Its proximity to the pub worried us before we got there but there was no problem at all. Glenelg is a pretty little village and we were fortunate to see eagle, seals but no otters. Maybe we'll have better luck next time we visit, which we most probably will.

Beautiful bungalow in a stunning location. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped holiday home. Good quality bedding and the standard of cleanliness was excellent. It was lovely to be able to light the fire after a day exploring though the property was toasty warm at all times. If you like being off the beaten track, love peace and quiet with an abundance of wildlife and stunning scenery this is the place for you. We stocked up with groceries in Fort William but the little shop is well stocked. Had a drink in the lovely friendly pub next door. Overall 10/10 and would definitely come back.

Absolutely fabulous, beautiful cottage in stunning location with everything you could need for self-catering, situated next to Glenelg Inn in the heart of the village. Bright, spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and new living room furniture.Would highly recommend and will return.

Wonderful break

We had a wonderful stay at Glenelg. It was a beautiful location, the cottage had everything we needed and more, including a pub in the garden! A great autumnal break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The kids loved the beach and all the free range animals

A fab property in a lovely area

We had a fantastic week in Glenelg. It is a lovely location with the seafront to explore just at the bottom of the garden and lots of walks and places to explore nearby. We loved it! Everything about the property was as described and beautifully maintained.

Amazing Cottage

Pleasant stay at the cottage with loch so close by. Had a wonderful time and lots of memories to take back. Looking forward for the next visit soon. Even on a rainy day(where we could not go out as planned) we enjoyed staying at the cottage, provided lots of board games, Music and Film collection. Amazing place to stay with nearby attractions.

Lovely property, tranquil and peaceful

Lovely property, really relaxing and peaceful. We had concerns living next to the pub would be noisy but no noise at all and really friendly. Property was clean, well equipped and we both believe one of our best holidays. Definitely recommend

Brilliant

Clean ,good quality, brillient .Only problem i could not get a signal for the mobile so had to go next door to the pub for assistance , which was no problem .Really enjoyed our stay .

Glad to hear the your stay at Glenbeag Cottage was enjoyed. We try to make it comfortable and a home from home. There is no mobile signal across much of the Glenelg peninsular including at the cottage. However using 'settings' and select 'wifi calling' resolves the issue.

Glenbeag cottage

Spent a week in Glenelg in this very well appointed cottage. Cosy and comfortable with everything you could want including 2 bikes. Location is perfect next door to local Inn which serves excellent food, right in the heart of the village and a 2 minute walk to local shop. Would highly recommend.
