Hervorragende Kommunikation im Vorfeld, herzliche Begrüßung und Schlüsselübergabe für das Penthouse. Maria erläuterte das Wissenswerte und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Annehmlichkeiten des großartigen Penthouses genossen. Die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal, ob zum Wandern, Schwimmen oder einfach nur zum Sonnen.Wenn Isla Plana, dann wieder das Penthouse in der Villa Meerblick.

Formidable

La maison de Maria est superbe, la piscine tres agréable, l’emplacement fantastique, il suffit de traverser la route pour être sur une plage tres agréable et très calme. Nous avons eu un excellent accueil de la part de Maria qui était toujours disponible pour nos questions. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Je recommande vivement!

Great Holiday

I was very happy with the apartment and everything about the property was quality. The kids really enjoyed the massive pool and the beach was so close that we could go back and forth during the day without any hassles. The views from the massive balcony were stunning from sun up to sun down. The local supermarket (10 min walk) had everything we needed and there were enough restaurants locally to have a few meals out. Maria was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

Très bon séjour

Logement très confortable et spacieux avec une vue panoramique sur la mer de la pièce principale et du toit terrasse. La literie est très confortable et l'endroit est très calme. Idéal pour se reposer. L'eau de la piscine était un peu fraîche en cette saison mais nous avons tout de même réussi à nous baigner. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Dream house at Isla Plana

The apartment is exactly as described and provides all one can imagine for a perfect stay! It’s handy to have a car, but you can easily walk to the small village. Very friendly host, giving us all the info we needed. Maria lives below but we were never bothered by her presence, giving us the space and privacy we needed. Thanks, Maria!

What a find!

We (family of 4) had a lovely week during the Easter holidays at Maria's property. She was an excellent host who made us feel very welcome. The flat is extremely spacious and very well provisioned. The location is also amazing: it's a 30 second walk to the beach so the kids didn't even bother with shoes half the time! The pool was great, although still a bit on the chilly side in April. We still braved it, however. The village of Isla Plana is very nice. Quiet but well provisioned with local shops, a small supermarket, at least 3 playgrounds and a few beach front bars/cafes. We particularly liked the social club which has a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay. Would 100% return. Thanks María

Perfect

The apartment is perfect everything you could possibly need and Maria is there if you need anything. The views are amazing and you can hear the waves whilst laying in bed a perfect location and we will definitely be back!

Parfait pour un séjour hors saison

Nous passons l’hiver en Espagne et apprécions particulièrement les maisons avec un ensoleillement maximal, ce qui est la cas pour cette propriété, du lever au coucher du soleil. Durant les rares jours de mauvais temps, vous pouvez profiter du spectacle et observer le spectacle depuis le canapé du salon. L’endroit se prête magnifiquement aux balades au bord de la mer et dans les collines alentours. J’ai aussi profité d’un cours de yoga de bonne qualité au local social d’Isla Plana.

Amazing

This was our 1st visit to this area and to Maria's apartment. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is for you. Would recommend a car as there were only a few bars and restaurants nearby. We cannot thank Maria enough for giving us the chance to stay at her wonderful apartment as it was above expectations, the view is outstanding & proximity to the beach unbelievable, there are beach chairs, umbrellas etc for your use. As stated previously Maria was an excellent host there is you need her but mostly you don't know she is there. The apartment is a credit to her. Thank You again.

Me and my wife absolutely loved it the penthouse was fantastic.

Had a fantastic time at Maria's penthouse the place was spotless.The views were to die for and the local town was fantastic I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would definitely go back there.. Maria was a Great host left you alone but if you needed to know anything you could always ask her.

A piece of paradise!

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. It is modern and clean and does not feel like a holiday home, more like a real home! The views are breathtaking and the sunsets are spectacular. It is equipped with everything you could ever need, Maria really has thought of everything. She is so helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed! Oh and did I mention those views?!

Light and quirky

Nice, modern apartment, generally well appointed. Excellent pool. As others have said, owner Maria is helpful and charming. Good parking, close beach (50metres). You hear the gentle waves, the gulls and watch bats at night. If only there was air-con and a comfy settee the apartment would be perfect. Isla Plana is very basic. The single supermarket is well-stocked but restaurants are few and uninspiring. The passeo is very limited (nearby Azohia is far better). Nearest town, Mararron, has a few nice restos near the port but is otherwise a fairly grubby place except it has long beaches to the south. Cartagena is 40 mins away and worth a visit for its Roman theatre and city tour bus. Espuña Sierra less than an hour away is delightful mountain/woodlands. Not far to Mar Menor with its dusty towns and simple - very safe - beaches. In summary, glad I’ve been but there really are far nicer areas of Spain. Go here if you want unrelenting heat, peace and simplicity but not much else.

Un accueil chaleureux et une superbe villa

L’appartement est superbement équipé, spacieux et très bien situé. La piscine privée et la plage à deux pas ont formé une combinaison parfaite pour des vacances en famille. Super Appartement in perfekter Lage

Wir waren zu dritt eine Woche in diesem kleinen Paradies. Das Appartement liegt zwischen Land und Meer ,in einem kleinen Dorf, nur wenige Meter bis zum Strand. Sehr geraeumig, modern und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool , zur Alleinbenutzung, ist ein Traum, ebenso die zwei Terassen mit Meerblick. Kleiner Supermarkt und Fischmarkt in der Naehe. Maria, die Besitzerin, ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und diskret. Wir sprechen Deutsch, Franzoesisch und Englisch , aber kein Spanisch. Die Verstaendigung hat trotzdem irgendwie geklappt. Im Dorf gibt es ein kleines, tolles Restaurant ( Da Chiara), umbedingt probieren ! Hier machen fast nur Spanier Urlaub, also kaum auslaendische Touristen. Wer, wie wir, kein Touristenrummel sucht ist hier genau richtig. Cartagena ist nur eine halbe Stunde entfernt, falls man doch mal schoppen will. Wir haben diese Tage sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder.Danke Maria !

Isla Plana is a small town that has all kinds of shops, supermarket, hardware store, butcher, fishmonger, bakery, tobacconist, several restaurants, church, bars and a Neighbourhood Association which is a square with a bar overlooking the sea where they make festivals summer with bingo, musical groups and activities.
From the house you can stroll along the beach to the centre of town is 7 minutes walk, there is a walk on the beach going to Azohía if you like cycling, walking or jogging.
