We were looking forward to our stay in Ouirgane - we imagined it would be a nice but we were completely unprepared to be blown away. The photos posted here, though lovely enough to entice us to this village house, do not do the house justice. It is, in a word, stunning. In a few more words, it's also magical, beautiful, charming, relaxing and above all, comfortable. Our family of five had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves - from the rooftop terrace to the garden and the gorgeous inner courtyard - that we hardly had any desire to venture out, though we did make an exception to go out for a mule ride around the village, which was a real highlight.
Peter, the owner, was very responsive to any questions we had and arranged for us a driver to take us from Marrakech airport to the house. Mohammed, the next-door neighbour and house manager was available for any requests and his wife Khadija is a fantastic cook (we highly recommend having her cook all your meals - she prepares them at her house and then delivers them to you). We really did have such a good time and hope to return.
