Large Pet Friendly Self Catering Norfolk Holiday Cottage, Heacham Norfolk

Welcome to our Large Norfolk Holiday Cottage. Belmont House is our wonderful holiday cottage on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The cottages offers 4 star luxury self catering holiday accommodation for up to 10 people in 6 bedrooms with a private enclosed garden and patio.
A few minutes from the sea, this lovely Victorian cottage, built circa 1890 in traditional red brick, is furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout. Situated in Heacham village, a proper working village with shops, pubs and a working Lavender farm, Belmont House offers spacious holiday accommodation. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor for easy access.
Near to many award winning restaurants, cafes, pubs and golf courses and also RSPB sites. The Royal residence of Sandringham is a 10 minute drive away.
The Coasthopper bus also leaves from our street, making a trip along the coast easy if you want to leave the car at home.
A minimum stay of 7 nights is usually required during school holidays. Our start and finish days during holidays is normally a Saturday.

Excellent property for a large family

Perfect house for Christmas . Sleeps 10 comfortably. Very clean. All the kitchen equipment you need. Needs 2 more dining chairs as only 8 provided. We used the garden chairs as the table easily fits 10. Garden very safe for the dogs. Plenty of on road parking. Easy location for beach and pubs and shops.

ideal family base for holiday

Large house with great facilities for all the family. 6 adults,4 children and 2 dogs fir a week. Perfect base for holiday in North Norfolk. All facilities as described and good communication with owner. Would be happy to revisit and highly recommend to others.

Fantastic house better than we could have imagined. Perfect for a large family downstairs bedroom perfect for elderly disabled grandmother. Dog friendly garden! Everything you need in a kitchen and more. Can honestly give 6 out of 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ will definitely stay again in future👏

We had four generations including baby twins of 6 months and had a great time. House is fully equipped and it was great that there was basics provided e.g. tin foil, dishwasher tablets etc. House is very clean and a lovely garden. We had a great time and lots of special memories made

The perfect property

Belmont House is very much a home from home, it’s set in a quiet residential street with easy access to local beaches and shops. It’s also the perfect location to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. The property itself has everything you need and is finished to a high standard. There is lots of useful information in the property about the surrounding area to help you enjoy your stay. We choose the property as a family member has accessibility needs, so a ground floor bedroom and walk in shower were a must for us. The property was ideal for what we needed as was the surrounding area. The promenade at the local beaches and the accessibility across other locations we visited made this the perfect location for us. Thank you to Kerry for being such a great host.

Perfect home for an extended family

This is a great house for sleeping more than one family together. Plenty of space and all the amenities needed to make the perfect home from home. Our Grandaughter loved the books and toys that were there for her to play with and with the beach close by, what else could anyone want.

The perfect family getaway, great location and dog friendly

We stayed here as ages from 30-90years with 2 dogs. It was perfect for all ages, plenty of space and a large table and living room for all 10 of us to sit together. Location was great, local pubs were friendly and easy to walk to as well as the beach and lovely locations being a short drive away. Kerry the host was very helpful leading up to our stay with any questions and helped to make it all a smooth check in. They also left a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch! We’d definitely recommend!

Family new year get together

A very clean well equipped property with all we needed for our three generational family. The downstairs bedroom and wet room made it possible to accommodate the disabled member of our family. We all loved the wood burner. The property is in walking distance of the beach. We hope to return for the warmer weather. We would fully recommend this property.

Great location. Bus stop outside the property for Hunstanton

Great communication with owner. Twenty minute walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes to a great pub and fab sunday lunch. My only minor negative is the pile of leaves and feathers by the sitting area. Would have been nice for that to have been cleared before our rental.

Lovely house. Pretty area.

Lovely house, well equipped and close to beach. Pretty village with good amenities. The owners responded to a query we had very promptly during our stay and it was resolved. Only annoyance for us was that because the house, on its narrow street, was on the main bus route from Hunstanton to Kings Lynn, this meant that regularly noisy buses stopped right outside the front door where there were 2 bus stops on opposite sides of the street from very early in the morning disturbing those sleeping in the front bedrooms every day. This became a nuisance. Only other thing was that we couldn’t always park outside house due to lack of space.

Good place

The property worked really well for us, we were a family party of 7 adults and a 2 year old. The garden is small but private with a very pleasant seating area. Heacham is ok as a village but not as pretty as some others in the area. That said it is served by 3 pubs and a Tesco express

Lovely property

We had a lovely stay at Kerry's house in Heacham, a short walk from the beautiful beach and useful shops. The house is lovely, clean and comfortably furnished. Kerry was friendly and helpful and replied to messages quickly.

Heacham stay

Kerry was quick and responsive to our enquiries, not to mention very accommodating. There was plenty of crockery so you were never short one big family meals together. We had a very relaxing stay and would strongly recommend this cottage if you’re in search of a quiet location whilst still having easy access to the beach, which was only a short drive away.

Having rented a 10 bed property we were restricted to only 6 occupants and had to hire 2 other properties. The house was lovely but we rattled around.

I now live in Norfolk with my wife and 2 boys and Ralf the Irish Terrier. We bought the property after spending 1 weeks holiday on the North Norfolk Coast. We loved North Norfolk and came across this property which we thought would make a wonderful holiday home. We had wanted to have a holiday house for a while as we thought we could provide a great home which was comfortable and had everything you needed on holiday especially a well equipped kitchen. (Our worst bug bear when we stay away). We love Norfolk and hope you do too.

This area has some of the best coastline in England, accompanied by lovely countryside and villages. Norfolk is also blessed with also having some of the best restaurants in the country. The way of life is slower, the people are friendlier making it a very pleasant place to live and visit.
If you like the great outdoors, Norfolk is for you. Horse riding, dog walking, Golf, swimming, sailing, wind surfing, hiking, walking, cycling, country houses, deer parks, boating, seal trips, amusements to name but a few of the activities that can be done nearby. We also have excellent public transport to both Kings Lynn and along the coast.
We love Norfolk and hope you do too.

We are lucky that Heacham village is still a proper bustling village with many amenities, including shops, pubs and a lovely social club. The village is served by an excellent bus route, (bus stop on our street) to both Kings Lynn and along the coast. This being the case you can get to the house via public transport if you wish, (via Kings Lynn train station) or leave your car at the house after you arrive and explore the region using the excellent bus service. The cottage is near many beaches on the North Norfolk Coast and also has access to great walks.
