Ideal for us

We had a lovely stay at Casa Veronica. We were there with our two young children (1 and 3) so having a heated pool, a well stocked shop nearby and a quiet safe beach so close made our lives so much easier. It was also very convenient for Faro airport but still quiet and secluded. The house had everything we needed and Helen and Dirk were both very responsive and helpful.

Fabulous house in a great secluded location

This was a lovely house….so easy to find by car travelling from the airport. The location of the house is really great, secluded with beautiful vistas. The interior of the house is so comfortable…the living room area is just wonderful with tv, wifi, etc. The bedrooms had the comfiest of beds…in fact the house had everything you needed for a wonderful relaxing holiday. The owner Helen was so quick to reply to any questions that we had and the agent Dirk was on hand to deal with any problems that may arise. All in all a wonderful holiday in a superbly located house…..highly recommended…we will return.

Stunning

We were a family of 8 staying at casa veronica. We had such a lovely stay. The Villa Is very spacious and very homely. Both kids and adults had endless hours of fun in the pool. We spent numerous nights enjoying what we referred to as the snug ticked away at the side of the pool. This little hide away so absolutely beautiful of an evening having bbqs and family meals down there. This villa has the most stunning views which added more to this great holiday. Also have to mention dirk the property manager. We made contact a few times with dirk for general thing such recommendations on places to watch football and local markets we could to. Di rim was very helpful and ensured a lot of info was sent to help with are needs

fantastic villa

we stayed in this villa for 7 nights at the beggining of August. I cannot begin to tell you just how beautiful this villa is. We came as a family of 5. We were met by the owner & his wife at the airport, who guided us back to the villa, following them. They went out of their way to be helpful, and even drove to a supermarket on the way to the villa, so we could pick up some essential items for our stay. The town of olhao is very close and had everything we needed, including a shopping centre, with go karting for the kids. The villa itself is up a dirt track, and though its quite rocky to get to, its also the last villa on the end of the road, so its very private. I would suggest hiring a car is essential. The villa has a magnificent view over the countryside & a view of the beach. There are 4 bedrooms, all very spacious, and 3 bathrooms. The villa is beautifully spacious and laid out, with a very large lounge area and a spacious kitchen and dining area. They have a smart tv with english telly, so when you are relaxing, you are able to curl up and watch it. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, as well as a laundry room which we were able to use. By far for us, the pool was the best bit, it is a lot larger than it looks in the pictures, and the whole family loved it. As an added bonus it has under pool lighting in the evenings. The villa has beautiful grounds surrounding it. The pictures on the site dont do it justice, it is perfect for a family, and the owners are so friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay.

vacances à Algarve

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette maison. Trés propre et fidéle à la description avec cette superbe vu sur la plage, proche de toute commodité. Maison à environ 10minutes de Olhao 20 de Faro ( autoroute pas loin). seule point noir, le chemin acces pour la maison en pente avec des troux donc doucement mais surrement. Les échanges avec les proprietaires ont été trés respectueux et toujours dans la bienveillance de nos questions. Je conseille cette location sans soucis.

Agréable maison bien située et bien équipée

Maison confortable, bien équipée, piscine chauffée indispensable à cette saison, mais très agréable. calme et vue dégagée, proche des commerces et des buts touristiques et de la mer. Propriétaire et gestionnaire attentifs et efficaces. Un conseil : demander un plan d'accès détaillé dans la documentation car impossible de trouver sans aide du gestionnaire. c'est un détail mais qui peut compter si l'arrivée est tardive . En conclusion : excellent séjour

Nous avons loué la maison avec les amis, très bien accueillie et les lits parapluies supplémentaire ont bien été à notre disposition comme demandé. Chambres sont grandes et confortables, lieu très calme.

Lovely relaxing stay

Beautiful villa, photos don't do it justice. 10-20 mins in car from Olhao, Tavira, Fuseta and many stunning beaches, restaurants and tourist attractions. Well appointed villa with all mod cons. It is up a dusty track so be prepared for that but the roads around are very quiet and easy to drive. 4 big bedrooms, 1 ensuite and 2 other bathrooms so ideal for bigger groups. Comfy beds, plenty bedding and towels. Kitchen has everything you need with a separate utility room. Lounge and dining area very spacious with added bonus of two outside areas for shade and relaxing. BBQ. High spec TV, speaker and WiFi for the teenagers!! We all loved the house and feeding the visiting cats. 5 mins to an Intermarche in Moncarapacho so easy for shopping and takeaway cooked chicken for an easy meal if not dining out. Owner also shared some great info on the local towns and places to visit or eat out. Definitely need a car but lots of walks in the neighbourhood too. A minor issue with one of the much needed Aircon units was resolved promptly by Dirk and he communicated regularly to check all OK. Views from the pool down to the coast ate stunning. Overall a great value villa in a rural location. Thoroughly recommend, would stay again.

Very nice stay

Very pleaseant stay in casa Veronica with my family, peaceful location. The pool was a sucess with our teenage children. The house is confortable and the cleaning is impecable. The owner Helen is very nice and understanding.

Superbes vacances !

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances entre amis (2 couples + 4 enfants de 1 an à 8 ans) la maison est grande et très confortable, possède tout ce qu'il faut pour y passer de bons moments, la propriétaire très accessible par message, compréhensive et rassurante. La maison est complètement isolée sans voisinage. Grande piscine, attention pas de sécurité autour (ni barrière ni alarme). Très bien placée, nous avons pu visiter tout ce l'on voulait à l'algarve facilement ! Merci Helen et Dirk

"A place with a view"

Nice spot with a beautiful view to Ria Formosa; cool pool with warm water; cats, rosters, geckos around the house / property; quick access to the coast / beaches, Fuseta and Olhão; away from croweded spaces; a good choice for this kind of holidays.

Relaxing Week

This house was perfect, exactly what we needed for a week relaxing with the family. The pool was warm enough to be in all day and the bbq area was lovely. Would definitely recommend

Villa mit allem was man braucht

Wir genossen zu fünft schöne 8 Tage in der großen und gut ausgestatteten Villa, das schöne Spätsommerwetter, die schöne Aussicht und den Pool. Die Zufahrt ist etwas steinig und die Hühner waren schon mal etwas früh wach aber das trübte den guten Gesamteindruck nicht.

Suitable for family vacation

Well organized home equipped with everything a family of 7 with ages ranging from 6 to 71 needed. Clean, nice pool and patios, nice quiet neighborhood. A car is essential to reach beaches and local cities.

Lovely villa, great views, very spacious, excellent pool

We had a lovely stay. Villa more spacious than photos suggest, very well equipped and good aircon - pool excellent size. Great sea view. Moncarapacho village short drive (10 mins) - several restaurants there and small supermarket - but too far to walk especially at night. We visited Olhao - great fish market and plenty of restaurants, ferries to nearby island beaches, Tavira - pretty town to explore and Praia do Baril beach - all easily accessible. You do need a car as quite rural - taxis will do airport run but not local trips. Directions to villa need a bit more detail as difficult to find at night - distances would be good. Overall, great stay, owner very easy to deal with - would definitely return.

Lovely Family Villa

The property was excellent with spacious rooms for all the family . Well equipped and spotlessly clean . Quite isolated which is fine as no noisy neighbours only a cockerel crowing and dogs barking from time to time The real bonus was the enclosed snug bbq by the pool especially as the evenings were still cool and of course the pool which everybody loved . The view across to the sea was fabulous . Moncarapacho is a nice town but further away than we thought . The smaller village which was closer had no facilities . Overall for a week it was delightful . We hope to come again next year .

Had a great time

Highlights were. - the heated pool, my other half never normally ventures into the pool but this was lovely and warm, just the right size and depth, and we were both in it everyday. - the lovely view from the patio across the fields and down to the sea - I also enjoyed watching the planes heading into Faro airport, the Fliught Radar App was on overtime! Property was nice and clean and Helen was very quick to respond throughout the booking process. We did have a minor issue with the villa's internet but this was subsequently sorted by Dirk. I wasn't aware when booking that there was another property close to the villa across the drive but they can't see into the property and apart from the occasional vehicle visiting them, there was no real noise. Like anywhere in rural Portugal, there are dogs barking and cockerels crowing in the distance but the villa was still a lovely secluded retreat so these weren't an issue. Great base for exploring the Eastern Algarve, we travelled out to Santa Luzia, Tavira, Olhao and even across to Spain from Alcoutim.

super villa tout le confort

Nous avons passés d'agréables vacances au Portugal, la villa comporte tout le confort nécessaire rien ne manque, la situation de la villa dans l'arrière pays nous a beaucoup plus, calme et reposante. Merci au propriétaire pour leurs services et leurs disponibilités. le soleil n'était pas trop de la partie mais l'algavre est une jolie région avec pleins de sites à visiter.
