Maison Agnesは、フォージェのワイン地区にある中世の村ローレンスの中心部から徒歩5分に位置しています。 それはプライベートプール10x4mとの静かな地中海の庭にある1階建てのヴィラです。 英国の衛星テレビとフランスのチャンネル、DVDプレーヤー、無料のインターネットアクセス。 ヴィラには3つのACユニットがあります。美しいフランス窓から庭に出て、桑の木の下で食事をしたり、日陰を見つけたりできます。バーベキュー（ガス加熱）はダイニングエリアの近くにあります。 日陰のある場所で卓球の試合をすることもできます。 庭は生垣に囲まれ、一日中プールエリアで太陽が輝いています。 ここでは、プールシャワー、8つのサンチェア、ソファーとアームチェアのグループ、冷たい飲み物やコーヒー用のテーブルもあります。 前庭には、ナシ、イチジク、ザクロ、マルメロ、クレメンタインのようないくつかの果樹があり、熟したときにそれらを選ぶことができます。 庭には複数の車用の駐車スペースと車の港があります。

Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein schöner erholsamer Aufenthalt mit ein paar Schönheitsfehler,der Grill war total verdreckt,wir konnten nicht einmal grillen,es fehlten Geschirrtücher und die Stuhlauflagen hatten auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen.Der Pool war super ,schön groß und nachdem der Pooltechniker da war ging auch die Heizung des Pools wieder.Auch unser Hund hat sich super wohl gefühlt.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful place

We very much enjoyed our stay at Karl and Agentas villa, the town of Laurens is a very sleepy area in the middle of a wine county. Our young children enjoyed watching the small tractors ferry grapes to the local winery. The locals of the village were very friendly. The Villa is beautiful with a clean good sized pool which we spent most of our days by. The house was a great size for 5 adults and 3 small young children. Only issue, the floors and surfaces were very dusty which we had to clean ourselves when we arrived.

French village getaway

Villa Agnes is very well equipped and comfortable. The pool is great to lounge by if you fancy a lazy day and there is a good boulangerie about two minutes walk away. There's a great restaurant, Abbaye Sylva Plana- not cheap - on the outskirts of the village. Bit of a schlep though if you don't want to drive. There's lots to do in the area, some lovely towns and villages to visit and great wine to try! We had a very enjoyable trip.

Laurens at the end of summer

The property is well positioned with easy access to Laurens and it’s local shops and a good restaurant. Laurens is in the middle of wine country and when we were there vendage was in full flow with a constant smell of wine! Being close to the hills and national park there is plenty of good walking but if you want to go to the coast, it is within an easy drive. The Villa is fairly simply but very adequately furnished and equipped and the pool is very nice. The pool isn’t heated but after the first shock of going in was very pleasant. The host was easy to deal with on booking and we had no need to contact the local property manager. I would certainly recommend the property.

La maison Agnès est très agréable, remarquablement bien équipée, très propre et idéalement située pour rayonner dans la région. Le jardin et la magnifique piscine ont fait le bonheur de toute la famille (et du chat) pendant une période estivale très chaude. On a passé de bonnes vacances

La maison est jolie , arborèe et calme. La piscine est grande et on trouve dans la maison tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Juste un petit bémol sur le nettoyage à notre arrivé mais la propriétaire a été très réactive. On a passé de bonnes vacances en famille !

Absolutely Fantastic

This villa is just brilliant, the photographs online do not do it justice at all. Externally there is a gated and large driveway with enough parking for several cars. The patio area is very usable and the tree is particular is immense, the shade it offers and some how cools the air on a hot day is unreal. The pool area is great, plenty of seating, clean and tidy and well appointed, the pool is a good size, one depth throughout. The internal space is well thought out, the lounge and kitchen area being especially impressive due to its size and layout, have the shutters open and it is very light and a nice place to be, to cool down as it was in august. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all a good size, the property is well finished and furnished throughout making it a great place to be. I'm sure my words will not do the property justice but it really is great throughout, very comfortable in a great location. We met the housekeepers who were only too happy to help when required, offered some great advice on the local areas, what was going on and things to do. The village although out of the busy area and quiet is really nice, as soon as you are in tune with the shop opening hours you can get all you need. This was a wonderful holiday for my family, beautiful area of the world with plenty to do and great accommodation. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic week in a gorgeous property

We had a fantastic week in this property. The location was great for sightseeing. Everything from pretty towns and villages to sea side towns to gorgeous countryside walks were within half an hours drive. The property itself is beautiful. Very clean and well equipped. We loved the outdoor space and even enjoyed playing table tennis most nights. Agneta was a great host. We had regular contact before our stay with clear information and loads of tips on local amenities and days out suggestions. We loved it so much we are booking again for next year.

Lovely villa in a quiet village

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of June. Villa was lovely and very well equipped for our needs. We travelled with a 1 year old baby and everything we could need was there- baby bath, high chair and cot. Owner's communication in the lead up was excellent, we had all the info we needed. Housekeepers also very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a relaxing week away. Would 100% return

Great villa and village for a family holiday

To celebrate a big birthday and also a retirement, my husband and I booked this villa for friends and family over a three week period. It was ideal for us and the pool was a real treat during our stay, with our granddaughter trying out swimming with armbands for the first time. The accommodation was comfortable, the wi-fi a necessity with all our different ages and the gas barbecue was an added bonus during the extended stretch of fantastic weather. Laurens is quiet but there are a few shops, a good restaurant within walking distance, a basic bar, a takeaway and also an unusual Chinese takeaway two evenings a week operating from a local house! There is also a good farm shop just outside the village and a pharmacy close by. A car was vital to see the unspoilt countryside but hold your breath if you tackle some of the tiny, one way streets in many local villages. Add to the mix the extensive choice of local wines and this really was a great place to stay to see a really rural and friendly part of France.

Very well presented villa, lovely garden and pool

Our family of 8 adults and a 4 month old baby thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at the Villa Agnes in Laurens. The inside and outside spaces worked very well for us and we felt the house was very well equipped and presented. The internal layout was well matched to our needs and the warm weather ensured that the lovely garden, outside living spaces and the pool area and were well utilised. The house has ample parking and Laurens provides an excellent base for exploring the surrounding areas which have a lot to offer.

We Agneta and Carl Blomqvist, live in Sweden, but when we retired we decided to spend some months every year in the South of France. We bought the house in Laurens in July 2013 and since then we have renovated most of it and built a pool of 10X4 m. Our Giant Schnauzer also follows us to France.

We bought the house because we wanted to come closer to French culture, food and wine. Our house is surrounded by French families who are very friendly and helpful. Close to the house is a nature reserve where we can hike with our dog. Within one hour's drive there are a lot of interesting and historic places to visit. The beaches are 30 minutes' drive from the house.

There are lots of places nearby to visit, we have enjoyed Gorge d'Eric a fantastic canyon, where you have an easy paved walk along a river with fantastic scenery. A visit to historic Pezenas with its boutiques, restaurants and Saturday market is well worth visiting. The old part of Beziers is another place to visit. On Friday mornings there is a wonderful flower market. Further away you can find Lamalou with hot springs, Roquebrun where several restaurants overlooking the river. A rather steep walk takes you to a botanical rock garden. Albi with its famous Cathedral and Toulose Lautrec museum, Aigues Mortes the fortified Town with the wall from 1250. The historic town of Carcasonne is also well worth a visit.
