Amazing property, clean, well equipped, quite location within walking distance of village. Great communication from owners. Parking on site was a bonus. Will definitely recommend to friends and family looking to stay in this area.

Great time at a first rate location

The property was very clean and well maintained, check in very easy and a great communication. The Owners were really helpfull and able to provide great suggestions for things to do and see.

Megavissey White House revirw

The White House is a great property to stay at in Megavissey. It is situated near an isolated and private small beach and a short trek (down and uphill) into Mevagissey. It has parking and great amenities.

Cornish adventure

The White House is a wonderful apartment, with everything we needed and even things we didn't think we needed! Lorraine and Simon are great hosts and we fell in love with Lady the cat! It was a great base for travelling around Cornwall, and our American friends really loved their stay and can't wait to come back!

What a wonderful apartment, all your requirements and more. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. Loved the apartment and the Cornish cream tea courtesy of Lorraine and Simon. Will defo be back and will recommend to all our friends and family.

Our stay by the sea

Great place, very clean and comfortable. Location was wonderful as we were able to walk down the hill into town each day for lunch or dinner. The town is beautiful with lots of cool shops and restaurants. Appliances are a bit over engineered (needed to google the make of the stove to figure out how to turn the burners on). But we loved the place and would recommend it to our friends.

A very beautiful stay

We spent 3 very beautiful days in the apartment. Everything was best beginning with the Check-In ending with the modern furnishings and the comprehensive kitchen equipment. Located in a quiet location, just a few minutes walk to the beautiful centre of Megavissey. The communication with Lorraine was best. Thank´s once more.

What a lovely apartment! Beautiful decor with incredibly comfortable beds and modern kitchen. Lorraine popped in to welcome us and point out places of interest and where to eat. We had a wonderful short stay as a birthday treat for my son. Thank you! 😊

We had a wonderful family holiday here. Everything was perfect. We can not fault a thing. We even enjoyed the walk fown into the harbour along the cliff top, even though there were a lot of steps..

Beautiful apartment in a great location

Just returned from a lovely, relaxing stay at the beautiful White House. The house is spacious, modern and immaculate with a really cosy home from home feel, lots of little extras that made our stay special. Lovely to be greeted by Lorraine on arrival and the gift of scones and Cornish cream was a lovely touch. Great location, we enjoyed visiting the harbour and nearby beaches using the picturesque coastal paths, Charlestown and Eden Project. We can’t wait to visit again and hopefully stay at The White House again!

Smart, modern apartment in Mevagissey

We stayed at The white House for a long weekend this May. It's a modern, well appointed appartment that can sleep up to 5 in comfort. Stylish furnishings throughout. Immaculately presented. Welcomed with scones and clotted cream. Tea and coffee provided. Excellent communication from the owners before, during and after our stay. Will definitely be returning in the future... :-)

Very clean, comfortable, modern apartment with all mod cons and comfortable beds. View ok but would have preferred a view of the harbour. The only downside was where it was situated ie at the top of Mevagissey with a very strenuous climb up from the harbour if you were on foot. This meant we had to take the car down into the village and search for the limited available parking spaces.

Easy to find,

We had good communication with Simon and Louise. The apartment is on a hill, we knew this when we booked it. It is easy to walk into the town. The apartment has All you need for a short or long stay, kitchen facilities are great and very clean. Plenty of space inside and out. Very warm. Plenty of hot water for our party of 4. The photos don’t do the apartment justice, it is of a good size, the sofa and chairs are comfortable, to comfortable we spent a lot of time on them. For our party staying we found the mattresses hard and the pillows very flat, if we were staying longer we would have asked for a mattress topper, and better quality pillows, just a thought for the owners to provide this, if requested, for personal comfort. I would recommend this apartment. We had a lovely stay.

Die Wohnung ist perfekt eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Ein liebevoller Empfang mit frischen Scones wurde uns bereitet.Lorraine ist sehr freundlich und unterstützt mit Tipps. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld erfolgte rasch, es war alles sehr unkompliziert. Vielen Dank dafür.

Tolle und komfortable Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage

Mevagissey ist ein kleines, nicht allzu überlaufenes Fischerdorf an der milden Südküste Cornwalls. Es lädt zum Wandern am Küstenpfad entlang oder auch für Autotouristik ein. Von Dartmoor National Park bis Land's End oder Tintagel ist alles erreichbar. Die Ferienwohnung bietet allen erdenklichen Komfort für eine tolle Urlaubswoche in Cornwall und darüber hinaus. Wir hatten fast immer strahlend blauen Himmel und konnten unser Frühstück im Freien genießen, mit Katze Lady und den frechen Möwen.

Lorraine is a wonderful, helpful hostess who promptly answered my questions in advance and welcomed us when we arrived. The property is spacious, clean, and beautiful, with every amenity you could wish for. It's easy to find with GPS, and you can park your car at the property and take the lovely walk down the hill to the town. Because the hill is extremely steep, those with physical disabilities might have a tough time getting down and back up again. However, at almost age 60 and in reasonable shape, we were fine. Mevagissey itself is a lovely fishing town, with plenty of shops, good things to eat, and views; it did not disappoint. We very much enjoyed the coastal walk from Mevagissey to Pentewan and back, with spectacular views (and great exercise going up and down steep slopes). It's also not far from Lorraine's apartment to the A390 to access other Cornwall attractions.
