Gite du Midiは、美しいカンパン渓谷のオートピレネーにあります。 200年前に改装された農家の端に位置し、2〜4人（大人2人と子供2人）の宿泊施設を提供しています。 さらに、3人目の子供にはベビーベッドを提供できます）。 敷地は1.5エーカーで、素晴らしい景色に囲まれています。 Giteには専用テラスがあり、6人用の温水浴槽と地上の材木で覆われたプール（夏季のみ）を利用できます。 フランスのピレネー山脈最大のスキー場の一部であるラモンジーから、車でわずか10分で、壮大なピクデュミディ展望台へ行くことができます。 このエリアでは、夏と冬の豊富な山でのアクティビティを提供しています-ダウンヒルスキーとクロスカントリースキー、ツールマレーやアスピンを含む有名なツールドフランスコルのサイクリング、壮大な散歩、VTT、乗馬、釣り、パラグライディング、ゴルフ、ロッククライミングなど サントマリードカンパンの村から車で2分の場所にありますが、小さなながらも充実したスーパーマーケット、2つのレストランとバー、ブーランジェリー＆ピッツェリアがあります。

A hidden away gem

We last stayed at the Gite 15 years ago, and I am pleased to say Tim and Jane have done a fantastic job as the new owners. The heated pool and hot tub were luxury after some very hot days riding around the local area on our motorbike. The garden is now gated so very secure for the bike.Thank you very much for your hospitality Tim, Jane and Charlie, we loved meeting you all.

Mini Home From Home in Stunning Mountain Scenery

Very cosy traditional gite perfect for a couple. Caring hospitable hosts. Spotlessly clean. Loved the hot tub! Very close to La Mongie ski station, and unspoilt pretty Pyrenean villages not far away for shopping and restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Cosy Hideaway

We spent two enjoyable weeks in the Pyrenees and were very well cared for. The garden is just as wonderful as the pool is. Lots of activities to do nearby which are wonderfully explained by Jane and Tim. The apartment ist well equipped, only the shower is rather small if you’re quite tall :-) If in search for a place that offers a chance to calm down and sooth the soul, it’s a match.

The perfect gite for us!

We had an amazing stay at the Gite du Midi. Cozy and comfortable, the gite is equiped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The weather was hot during our stay so the pool was a godsend, as was the hot tub to the cyclist in the family to soothe his aching legs. The location is so peaceful, close to beautiful walks and many famous and challenging moutain passes for cycling, or just driving to take in the spectacular views. Jane and Tim are excellent hosts, so welcoming and only too happy to help out with anything you need and to share their wealth of knowledge of the area. We had the best two weeks and were gutted to leave. Wouldn't hesistate to book here again the next time we visit the area. Thank you Jane and Tim (and little Charlie) for a perfect two weeks. Hope to see you again soon.

Très bien

La maison est très bien équipée et très jolie. L'environnement est très calme et agréable. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont vraiment Top avec vue sur les montagnes. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Jane même si le soleil n'était malheureusement pas avec nous. Les seules 2 petits point négatif seraient la douche un peu petite et le nombre très important de mouche mais cela est surment du au fait qu'on soit à la campagne.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end. Maison bien chauffée, literie 10/10, ( je crois que je n'ai jamais aussi bien dormi de ma vie ) ambiance et paysages sublimes. Un vrai coin de paradis

Le gîte est très cosy, bien propre et suffisamment spacieux. Les équipements sont excellentes et de très bonne qualité. Les hôtes Jane et Tim sont très accueillants, discrets et prévenants. Il se situe au milieu de la vallée, à 150 mètres de la route donc c'est très silencieux. La rivière coule en contrebas d'où partent de nombreuses balades. C'est un endroit tout à fait charmant, que ce soit pour se reposer ou pour visiter les alentours. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour des vacances !

Petit gîte confortable

Les proprios sont sympathiques et attentionnés pour leur hôtes. Le gîte est bien équipé et parfaitement propre. Nous le recommandons aux couples qui, en été, apprécient les randonnées ou bien évidemment le vélo. Merci à Tim et Jane.

Beautiful Pyrenees - comfortable gîte.

Very comfortable gîte - perfect for a couple. Great for cycling the Cols and lovely walks in the Pyrenees. Very helpful and friendly owners next door and full use of the pool in the summer much appreciated. Bagnères-de-Bigorre, the local town was quieter than expected, but lovely market on Saturday and other eating places in nearby villages.

Sehr nette Gastgeber! Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man kann in dem idyllischen Garten gut entspannen. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Brilliant place for a cycling break.

Couldn’t fault the place. The location is ideal for the Cols of Tourmalet, Aspin and Hourquette and not far from loads of other great climbs. The Gite is spacious and well-equipped and a dip in the pool is most welcome after a hot day on the bike. One thing I must mention, though it didn’t bother me personally, the neighbours dogs are extremely vocal when people come and go. Anyone who’s very nervous of dogs might find them a bit off-putting.

Difficult start

When we arrived, unfortunately the jaccuzzi was not ready. Although it was very cold Tim and Jane told us that they normally do not use the heating system in this time of year. We could use a paraffin heater, but since there was no ventilation we got a big headache. So we asked them to turn on the central heating. They did but only in the morning between 08.00 and 09.00 and in the evening between 17.00 and 21.00. So around 22.00 it was freezing cold. We had to ask again to turn on the heating system longer because we were cold and wanted to decide for ourselves which time we were going to bed. After three days they got the picture and gave us an electric heater and turned the central heating on much longer. But it was an amazing experience. Luckily we made a lot of beautiful hikes. But we will not recommend this gite.

Très bonne escapade à Campan

Nous sommes venus pour aller skier à la Mongie et le gîte est à 15min en voiture des pistes. Très facile d'accès ! Jane et son mari sont très sympathique et nous avons pu utiliser le jacuzzi. C'est vraiment super :) Nous recommandons !

A Pyranneen Delight

My wife and I spent a fortnight in the Gite de Midi and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Tim and Jane Yates made us very welcome and throughout our stay were most helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Situated a kilometre or thereabouts up the road to the Col de Tourmalet from the village of Ste Marie de Campan (boulangerie, general store and 2 modestly priced restaurants) with the market town of Bagnere de Bigorre with its supermarches and a wide variety of shops only some 20 minutes away by car it was an excellent base for exploring the higher lands of the Pyrannees in that area: plenty of varied walks through high pasture land or serious cyling on the routes of the Tour de France Alernatively for the less active, picnic by Le Lac de Payolle en route to Col d'Aspin and the attractive village of Arreau. At the same time it was an easy drive to Lourdes, Lannemezan and the contrasting villages, hills and valleys of Les Baroonnies

What a view!

The warmest of welcomes awaits from Jane and Tim when you arrive at their charming and comfortable little gite, surrounded by the most wonderful views of the Pyrenees. On the road to the Col du Tourmalet, of Tour de France fame, the gite is ideally situated for walkers, cyclists and sightseers of every age group, and Jane and Tim will go out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.

Superb gite

I have just spent a wonderful week at this gite. The location is excellent and well equipped and maintained. Tim and Jane are lovely and were very helpful I would definitely recommend this gite

We (Tim and Jane) realised a 10 year dream when we moved to Sainte Marie de Campan in December 2013. After 30 years with the Metropolitan Police Tim retired in 2012 and we started our house hunt in France. We had holidayed all over France and enjoyed all the different regions but the Hautes Pyrenees has always been our favourite area. We wanted a to find a house with lots of character, in a tranquil setting, near the ski resorts and surrounded by beautiful walks and were so lucky to find a home that ticked all the boxes. Our sons are currently at university in the UK and we're looking forward to their visits in the holidays. Now that we've settled in we're busy discovering the wonderful surrounding walks with our two Border Terriers Eddy and Charlie.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We fell in love with this area because it is so stunning. Our valley is an ideal base for both summer and winter activities. With the famous cols of Tourmalet, Aspin and Hourquette on our doorstep it's the perfect place for cycling. There are endless walks for all levels, many straight from the gite, others a short drive away. The wildlife here is exceptional. Our garden is home to many species of birds and we are regularly visited by the local stags. We love sitting on the terrace and watching the kites, kestresls and vultures fly above us.
