Spacious and comfotable

The property is accurately described and all rooms very good. The pool and garden were great. The pizza oven and the hot tub were fantastic. There are many places to go and the restaurants nearby good, particularly the Auberge in Montagrier. Great holiday, we would be happy to go to this property again.

Very beautifull house with great garden, pool, ....

We had a very good stay at John and Lesleys house, it was very big, several clean and big rooms, where everybody had enough privacy Beautifull garden, with a big heated pool, the pizza oven is also very nice, you should certainly try that one Big shops not far from the house (5-10min away) To John and Lesley, thx for everything.we had a nice stay

Ideal place for a summer holiday!

Nice and beautiful traditional house, with necessary modern equipments and surrounded by peaceful green and hilly countryside. Pizza oven and spa, as well as large swimming pool, provided a particular holiday touch and feelings. John and Lesley are very careful hosts, and always ready to give their advice and assistance. Wonderfully relaxing stay and great host

Trying to find a property that could please all 14 of us was definitely a concern but I needn't have worried. Due to the beautiful pool and plenty of games and activities available there was something for everyone. Having large tables both inside and outside was also lovely for our collective evening meals. We really appreciated being so close to the supermarket. John was a fantastic host not only during our stay but also answering any questions we had in the months prior to our arrival. Only issue to highlight was that two toilets is a bit of a stretch for 14 adults and the hot water ran out pretty quickly.

Perfect stay for relaxing holidays for large family with children

We had a very good stay at John and Lesleys house. It is a very nice house with clean and big rooms. The kitchen is well equiped and the spacious table allows to eat comfortably with 12 people. Beautifull garden, with a big heated pool which was very much appreciated by the children. surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs. The pizza oven is also very nice, as well as the jacuzzi and the sauna. These equipment must be shared with the neighbors of the adjoining house. Although this went smoothly thanks to the very friendly neighbors, this could in some cases cause problems in terms of hygiene and availability. It must be said, however, that John and Lesley have taken all necessary measures and provided the necessary instructions to comply with the Covid measures. We were very well received by John and Lesley and they were always available to meet our needs. John and Lesley, many thanks for everything. Wwe had a nice stay

Pool and outside facilities were generally very good but the interior was disappointing.

In many ways the property has much to offer, the pool, hot tub and swings etc. but the house itself is insufficient for the number of people it accommodates. The kitchen has very good machines (Bosch) and they worked well, but there was very little space to prepare food. The kitchen floor and indeed the floor on the ground floor in general is in need of replacement as the tiles were scuffed and chipped. The bedrooms were fine but there are only two toilets, which is woefully inadequate for a house that sleeps 14 people. Some rooms, the children's room in particular, are a long way from the nearest toilet and this caused problems for them in the night. In general, the interior felt tired and in need of a good facelift. The owners, John and Lesley, were attentive and quickly attended to some minor things that went wrong, but we felt they might have left just a few staples in the house to get us started.

La maison est idéale pour des grandes retrouvailles familiales : les espaces extérieurs comme la grande piscine et le parc invitent au repos, aux jeux selon l’âge de chacun ! Maison très fonctionnelle , propre, très bien équipée , qui peut rester fraîche malgré la canicule extérieure. La vue de la terrasse est exceptionnelle ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, chaleureux et de contact très agréable .

Séjour à la villa la vallee villetoureix très ressourçant. Maison très charmantes et rénové avec goûts. Les hôtes sont très gentils. L'endroit est apaisant et ressourçant. La piscine, le spa et le sauna sont super. Nous avons passer une très bonne semaine de détente en famille. Nous conseillons cette villa.

Maison au vert et au calme

Maison grande et bien aménagée, très grand jardin et belle piscine, dans la campagne, bon accueil du propriétaire John. Petit bémol pour le partage du jacuzzi et du sauna avec les locataires de la maison voisine et sur le faible réseau Wifi. Nous avons quand même passé une bonne semaine!

Semaine au calme

Lieu très calme, grande piscine. Idéal pour les grands groupes. Leslie et John beaucoup moins stricts que ne laisse penser le contrat initial ;). Nous avons peu profité des extras : juste le jacuzzi pour "voir". Tout commerce disponible à Riberac à quelques minutes.

Très bonne location et propriétaires adorables

Une très belle maison avec tout le confort et très bien équipée dans un écrin de verdure. Une belle piscine chauffée privée mais aussi un four à pizza génial, un jacuzzi et sauna bien propres à partager avec la maison mitoyenne qui sont des vacanciers aussi. Des propriétaires adorables, compréhensifs et à l'écoute. Seul petit inconvénient, une chambre double avec lit en 160 en mezzanine. Sinon toutes les autres chambres doubles ou lits jumeaux sont fermées donc bonne intimité si vous êtes nombreux.

Magnifique séjour en famille

Gîte super, dans un endroit extrêmement calme car éloigné de toute agitation bien que proche de toutes commodités. Grand espace extérieur : jardin immense, piscine chauffée très agréable et très grande. L'espace pour les pizzas permet de passer des soirées très agréable mais il faut juste penser à s'arranger avec l'autre gîte. Accueil super par les propriétaires qui en plus, sont hyper-réactifs et sympathiques. L'emplacement retiré fait que le wifi et le réseau téléphonique sont un peu "à la ramasse".

Great house, great holiday.

We made good use of all the facilities. Kids enjoyed the pool particularly. Adults enjoyed the spa, and everyone enjoyed the pizza oven. House is well equipped, including a giant UHD tv in the lounge. Altogether, excellent value for money, and would recommend to others.

Special anniversary holiday

Our holiday was partly to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We had invited our extended family, comprising 14 of us, ranging from grandma, to baby. We all enjoyed an excellent holiday, including a family meal at a local restaurant, as well as experiencing making and cooking our own pizzas in the pizza oven at the property. Facilities in the house were 'top notch', with quality appliances in the kitchen, as well as a giant ultra high definition tv in the lounge (now on my xmas list!). We made good use of the pool, and the ladies enjoyed the spa/hot tub for a bit of pampering! Would definitely recommend, and will return as soon as we can.

Excellent holiday, at a beautiful holiday home

We decided to take our holiday the first two weeks of september this year, as both families have pre school age kids, and rental prices are much lower as soon as school summer holidays are over. My only concern was the weather. Well, I needn't have worried. We had wonderful warm sunny days for almost the whole two weeks. The house was excellent, with spacious bedrooms, and very comfortable beds - better than ours at home! The pool was beautiful, with coloured lights at night. And the pizza oven was brilliant. We were given good advice about what to do, and the best way to make our dough, etc. Plus everything was printed out in the house book (which seemed to cover everything you could think to ask about). We were doubtful about getting good results, as we'd never used a wood fired oven before. But with the tuition we were given everything went well, and we enjoyed the tastied pizzas we'd ever had. I now want an oven like this in my back garden! The kids had a go too, even if it meant lifting them up to be able to see into the oven! We did a second evening in our second week, and the pizzas were equally brilliant. A great memory to take away from an excellent holiday. Oh, and the ladies loved the spa (jacuzzi?). Only thing is, if I want a pizza oven in the garden, then the wife is insisting on a spa/hot tub too! Thanks Lesley and John for a very memorable holiday.

Parfait pour les groupes et les enfants

Merci Lesley et John pour cette belle semaine. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée, le jardin est immense et bien entretenu et la piscine est parfaitement sécurisée pour les enfants. Un (tout petit) détail à améliorer : rendre le wifi accessible partout au rez de chaussée. Nous étions 11 adultes et 3 enfants et nous avons tous apprécié notre séjour. Merci encore.
