We had three generations, five (5) people, staying at this house for a week including two sons aged 12 & 16. We all loved the house! The description is very accurate as to what is available. It was very well maintained. Each bedroom (three of them) has its own bathroom. And there is a spare bathroom. There are two nice sized living rooms (we never used the formal of the two but there is plenty of room if two families or three couples rented the house). The kitchen has a table to eat in so you can either eat in the kitchen or the living room next door. We ate in the kitchen so could use the table in the living room for a puzzle. The weather was a bit damp for sitting outside but we enjoyed the garden view from the kitchen when we ate. The house is very well situated and is in walking distance to the river and the buses and train station. we did not have a car so relied on walking, bus, train, and taxi. We did a great coach tour to skye (from wowscotland) that we all enjoyed. the boys loved it! and we did a boat tour on loch ness to urquart castle. and we went one day to Cawdor Castle. We had a lovely pub dinner down the street from the house at the Castle Tavern. Fiona was very helpful and made the boys' day by recommending a local highland game where we also ended up at a ceiledh! We definitely would recommend the house to friends or family.
