Bonjour, la maison peut être très agréable pour ce qui adore la montagne. La propreté est à revoir!!,terrasse pleines de mousse et de feuilles. Placard avec de la poussière et la vaisselle pour 6 personnes par approprier(8 assiettes couverts 6 couteaux et vaisselles d'époques.Maison très personnel aucune place pour mettre nos affaires ni se poserMaison sans clim avec une chaleur le soir a 32le soir. Notre voiture à été toute griffé par les ronses tous le long du chemin pour aller à le maison.Dommage cela pourrais être une maison agréable si elle était moins personnelle et surtout plus adapter pour la location saisonnière. Cela fait plus de &" ans que je loue et s'est la première fois que j'ai eu du mal à me poser surtout avec 3 enfants!!J ai du mal a comprendre la personnes qui à passer 3 semaines en juillet 2025 qui mais 10/10
voila les rayures du au manque d'entretien du chemin

Un séjour merveilleux

Tout a été parfait durant ces 3 semaines. José, le propriétaire, a toujours été précis, prévenant et attentif, secondé par Juanje sur place. La propriété s'inscrit dans le cadre superbe de la Sierra de Gredos que nous avons découverte à cette occasion : petites montagnes (randonnées), forêts et cours d'eau (piscines d'eau naturelle), bourgs animés à proximité. La maison elle-même, spacieuse, très bien organisée, conserve l'authenticité que lui ont donné ses habitants. On se sent presque "chez soi". Le grand jardin (avec piscine très pratique et saine) dispose de séquences très agréables en fonction des moments de la journée. Une belle sérénité se dégage de ce lieu "magique". Il y a des tas de choses à découvrir dans les environs immédiats, et nous avons pu aussi visiter Ségovie et Tolède… Bref, le séjour fut enchanteur, reposant et stimulant en même temps. Un rêve éveillé qui va nous accompagner longtemps!

Tout le Charme de la montagne

Jolie maison dans la montagne, jardin vraiment très agréable, ombragé, piscine avec vue sur les figuiers et les vignes. Cour à l’abri de la vigne où nous avons partagé tous nos repas. Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette belle région, randonnées, piscines naturelles.

Fantastisch gelegen ruim vakantiehuis

Na een hartelijke ontvangst en rondleiding door de eigenaar hebben we 2 weken genoten van deze heerlijke plek. Pluspunten: ligging, privacy, zwembad, schaduwrijke tuin, bijzondere inrichting en gebouw, uirstekende communicatie met de eigenaar. Verbeterpunten: zoals andere gebruikers van deze woning al meldden, er staan veel te veel eigen spullen in de kasten, badkamer, slaapkamers en woonkamer. Je kunt je eigen spullen nauwelijks kwijt. Daarnaast vertonen vaatwasser en wasmachine mankementen.

Brilliant

This accommodation absolutely blew us away with its beauty, romance and location! It sits in a peaceful rural area next to a beautiful fig grove, and every morning the goat herd brings his flock past the house. It is on a no-through track so there is no passing traffic. The house is a converted school house so part of it is small and intimate (teacher's home), and then there is a stunning school hall adjacent. It is filled with nostalgic antiques from the past, which you will either find romantic and inspiring, or cluttered if you don't like that kind of thing. We had a gorgeous time, eating in the grapevine covered courtyard, swimming in the pool, admiring the beautiful views and hanging out at the local river where you can also swim and get food. We did have a few problems with the pool chemicals in the hot weather but the host was very helpful and communicative trying to sort it out for us, which he did. The local area is quiet and very beautiful, but to be honest it was too hot, and we were enjoying the property too much, to really visit much of it! We would have no hesitation in staying here again - it was pretty much perfect!

Un lieu hors du commun ...

Bien sûr, les photos nous avaient séduits, nous qui recherchions un lieu calme pour nous reposer et nous permettre un séjour tranquille à la campagne, mais nous avons été comblés au-delà de nos espérances ! La maison de José est magique pour ceux qui aiment les lieux qui ont une histoire et une âme, les bibelots, nombreux, semblent tous raconter quelque chose que nous ne savons pas mais devinons, les photos découvrent des visages de gens qui nous deviennent familiers, le patio, un régal, semblent avoir assisté à une vie de repas, de discussions et de doux moments, même les vieilles poêles en fonte semblent détenir des secrets en même temps qu'elles permettent de retrouver la saveur des plats d'antan... Le jardin lui aussi est splendide et la piscine permet de se rafraîchir à n'importe quel moment et le soir, nous y contemplions les étoiles. Insectes, grenouilles, chèvres ont offert aux citadins que nous sommes un spectacle passionnant. Aux alentours, une rivière permet la baignade en eau douce. Alors bien sûr, il y fait chaud, oui, il manque peut-être un ou deux transats et un plat pour aller au four, mais ce n'est rien par rapport au coup de foudre que nous avons ressenti ! Nous reviendrons chez José et merci encore à Juanjo de nous avoir si gentiment accueillis.

A shabby experience.

An interesting property was our first impression, but sadly in need of repair. The house is very shabby with tiles hanging off the bathroom walls, the basin coming away from the wall and the bath and shower curtain arrangements were grim. Everywhere ceilings and walls showed signs of previous water damage. The owners belongings are everywhere, tooth brushes and toothpaste and toiletries on the only shelf in the in the bathroom, there were no clear surfaces in any room, everywhere was cluttered. The outdoor facilities were very basic metal chairs with no cushions. There was no comfortable seating and no sun parasols. The swimming pool was dirty with the pump running for shorts bursts only which did not clear the pool of debris and insects which accumulated every day. I mentioned this to owner as the bottom of the pool was dirty and she said she would get it cleaned the next morning but the pump wasn't running frequently enough to keep up and the pool was still dirty and we couldn't use the it again as it covered with dead insects. I cannot think this property is suitable as a holiday let.

La verdad es que es una pena que una casa con tantas posibilidades esté tan dejada. La cocina estaba bastante sucia. Para encontrar vajilla y útiles de cocina tuvimos que buscar por todas las habitaciones. El sofá cama que es para dos personas es de espuma, incomodísimo y no estaba muy limpio. Las almohadas también necesitan un cambio. El baño tampoco es que sea mucho mejor. La bañera tiene caídos varios azulejos y la limpieza tampoco era muy buena. Tuvimos que quitar un vaso con varios cepillos de dientes... Otro problema fueron las avispas. Al entrar había muchísimas avispas por todas las dependencias de la casa.

Casa con encanto en un precioso entorno

Los 9 días que pasamos en esta casa se nos hicieron demasiado cortos. Tan a gusto estábamos, ya fuera en el esmerado interior, en el relajante jardín con piscina o dando un paseo por el encantador entorno, que en ocasiones nos daba pereza salir a hacer turismo. En definitiva, una estancia muy recomendable para desconectar y recargar pilas.

ha sido como estar en una casa museo, lleno de curiosidades y verdaderas obras y antigüedades, el entorno espectacular, las dos cosas que mas nos gustaron, el patio con sus dos parras y la piscina. tranquilidad absoluta, salvo el reloj de pared jajaja., todo lo demás bien, solo alguna peguita, aire acondicionado o ventilador y alguna toma mas de televisión y la cama de matrimonio suena mucho jajajaja.

Una casa única

Una casa única para poder desconectar. Tiene una estupenda piscina y mucho terreno para que los niños puedan echar unas carreras. Es una casa que fué una antigua escuela y conserva algunos recuerdos de la misma. No es una casa tradicicional, tiene esencia propia.

A charming house surrounded by stunning scenary

We spent a fabulous 2 week family holiday at Las Escuelas. The house is spacious and has been lovingly furnished in traditional Spanish style which makes it very authentic. The lounge is spectacular with its high ceiling and majestic windows. It is set in a very peaceful and rural setting surrounded by orchards and yet it is close too many areas of interests. The slight downside was the heat as the house would not cool down during the heatwave (maybe should we have made more use of the shutters?). My husband spent hours cycling in the stunning Sierra de Gredos, we visited numerous villages - our favourite being Poyales del Hoyo just 5 mns drive from the house. The natural pools were a hit with the children (11 & 12) and so were the go apes parks. The village fiestas are great fun - we recommend the one in Santa Cruz del Valle with its encierro (run of the bulls). We just about found the time to visit Avila which is 1hr 1/2 drive from the house and takes you through spectacular mountain scenery. Jose, the lovely owner, speaks excellent English and ensured that all was in place for us to enjoy our stay. Definitely a place to recommend - one of the best holidays we've had as a family!
