Lovely stay in saint fortunat

With a lovely view over the valley, close to water, easy accesible. The house is fine and has everything you need for a quiet holiday.

Super supportive host in a great location

We had issues with our car and the host was super supportive helping us out. The house itself was simple but everything was working well. The bikes were in very good condition and there was a gorgeous spot at the river that was close by. We can definitely recommend the place.

Beautiful setting, comfortable home but extra $ for sheets?

Overall, our stay in St. Fortunat was amazing. Anne and Francois were here upon our arrival to show us the house even though our flight got delayed by over a day! They are friendly and welcoming. The house is most certainly rustic and that is exactly what we were looking for. We had some amazing weather, except for the last day. It was too hot to go out and we stayed in instead. Thank god for the one fan! The house is spacious enough with a very odd layout. The deck was amazing in the morning while having coffee. The view was splendid. The smell of the honeysuckle peeking through was divine. There were neighbors close by that we barely saw, though we did meet their dog who decided to guide us one day all the way down the river. He was a charm! The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was fine. Having a washing machine and a dishwasher was also a plus. A few things that I would categorize as cons are as follows: The wifi didn't reach the bedroom off of the kitchen at all, so our teenage daughter ended up sleeping in our bedroom the entire time instead of her own. Also, minor issue, the scissors need to be replaced. They were too blunt to cut anything. The broom also comes apart and needs fixing or replacing. The last thing that didn't make sense to me at all is the fact that at the last minute we were told that we had to bring our sheets or pay 50 euros extra for them. I never stayed in a property where sheets weren't provided and it is certainly not something I travel with, especially overseas. The owners said it was mentioned in the description but as of today 7/26/22, I cannot find any mention of it. I'd recommend the owners just add it to the price. There were plenty for us to use but as agreed, we did leave the 50 behind. One last thing I'll mention is the fact that while there is a lot to see and visit around the area, driving anywhere meant getting on endless windy roads that are most certainly not meant to be too lane roads. Overall though, we had a very pleasant stay. If you want peace and quiet and an amazing view, then you won't be disappointed, just figure out the sheets issue first.

Propriétaires sympas, bon accueil. toutefois, cette maison n'est pas fonctionnelle pour 6 personnes, les photos ne reflète pas la réalité, intérieur triste, pas très propre, aspirateur plein et non nettoyé, accès sanitaire limite, lave vaisselle non nettoyé, cuisine très petite, plaque électrique marche une sur deux. Nous avons bien profité de la terrasse, petits déjeuners diners. Nous avons également profité de faire du vélos, avec quelques petites réparations.

Un séjour excellent et reposant

Quel plaisir de séjourner dans une maison qui a une âme ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre semaine en Ardèche, dans cette sympathique maison toute proche de la rivière et de la Dolce via. Egalement très agréable petit jardin.

Beautifully situated!

We really enjoyed our stay in Saint-Fortunat. The view from the terrace is very pretty, though the mosquitos became a bit pesky later during the day. Generally, the accommodation had everything we needed. For people who like to cook a lot, two hotplates might not be enough and the kitchen is fairly small - but very well equipped apart from that. The surroundings are very pretty and a secluded place to swim in the river is close by. Overall, we warmly recommend this vacation home.

Maison de CAMPAGNE

Accueil chaleureux Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans un cadre exceptionnel Baignade et pêche dans la rivière à 10 mn à pied de la maison. Les vélos à disposition sont très appréciéables pour de belles balades le long de la dolce via. De nombreuses activités au alentour Nous recommandons cette maison. Séjour magnifique

Maison simple mais pourvue de toit le confort nécessaire. Environnement calme, superbe pour les balades en vélo sur la Dolce via toute proche (le plus vraiment appréciable les vélos mis à disposition), la baignade dans la rivière toute proche. Seul bémol: les moustiques. Prévoir les répulsifs et crèmes apaisantes. Et pour finir, un accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. Bref, un séjour très positif.

einfache Unterkunft in der Nähe eines tollen Badeflusses

Sehr einfaches Ferienhaus, ohne wirklichen Komfort, aber mit allem, was man braucht. Die überdachte Terrasse ist an heißen Sommertagen sehr angenehm! Der Garten wurde sich selbst überlassen, die Trockenheit tat ihren Teil dazu, sodass er nicht wirklich nutzbar ist. Das war für uns aber nicht wirklich schlimm, da es zwei gute Sitzmöglichkeiten für genügend Personen im Außenbereich gibt. Viele Stechmücken im August - also Mückennetz und Altan einpacken! Es gab mehrere brauchbare Fahrräder für Erwachsene und Kinder-Toll! So konnten wir morgens immer zum nahe gelegenen Bäcker mit dem Fahrrad fahren. Die Gegend fanden wir unspektakulär, aber schön. Das Highlight war definitiv der Badefluss Eyrieux. Allerdings waren wir nur ein mal an der Badestelle, die vom Haus aus in ca 300 Metern erreichbar ist. Dort ist es sehr steinig. Für Kinder viel besser geeignet ist die Badestelle in Pontpierre nahe der Ruine der alten Römerbrücke, die direkt am Wasser liegt. Dort gibt es Sandstrand, es geht seicht ins Wasser und wird dann sehr tief, sodass man als Erwachsener auch richtig schwimmen kann. Auch gibt es dort mehrere hohe Felsen (bis 10 Meter), von denen man wunderbar ins Wasser springen kann. Das einzige Manko: Es gibt nur wenig Schatten. Also am besten ein Sonnensegel mitbringen (Sonnenschirm hält nicht gut, da es immer wieder sehr windig wird). Man muss mit dem Auto bis Pontpierre fahren (ca. 10 Minuten), dort an der Straße parken und den kleinen Trampelpfad etwa 300 Meter nach unten zum Fluss laufen. Noch eines zum WLAN: Am Router wird ein Schlüssel angezeigt, der aber bei uns nicht funktioniert hat. Auch ein QR-Code wird auf dem Display des Routers angezeigt. Wenn man diesen aber mit seiner Handy-Camera abfotografiert, bekommt man Zugang zum WLAN. Die Vermieter Annie und Francois waren sehr nett, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit! Ein Kritikpunkt, den ich noch nennen möchte ist, dass keine Endreinigung angeboten wird. Man muss also selbst das Haus wieder reinigen. Gerne hätte ich etwas mehr Geld für eine Endreinigung bezahlt. Wir hatten einen schönen, simplen Urlaub, der uns sehr gefallen hat. Wer Lust auf einfaches Leben hat und sich nicht an ein paar Insekten stört, dem kann ich die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Maison ardéchoise typique

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, très reposant, dans Les rivières autour sont superbes et permettent de se baigner facilement même avec des enfants, mais également de pêcher. Le terrain de tennis à proximité a aussi été très apprécié. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et accueillants et la maison même si " rustique" possède toutes les commodités. De plus, elle garde sa fraîcheur, même quand il fait sa chaud. Si vous cherchez un endroit au calme, allez-y !

petit sejour

la maison est au calme dans un petit hameau agréable pour faire des ballades en vélo le jardin est en friche donc on ne peut pas en profiter dommage . la maison est très poussiéreuse et envahi d'araignées on s'est fait piquées a plusieurs reprise . on a écourter notre séjour car notre fils a fait des crises d'asthmes et trop de piqure insectes a déconseillés aux familles il y a une petite odeur désagréable sur la terrasse donc on ne peut en profite sinon très belle vue.

Peaceful and relaxing

We spent 4 days here and enjoyed it very much. There is wonderful swimming nearby and walks and bike rides. The owners met us at the house and were helpful and friendly. The house had everything we needed and I recommend it highly.

Excellente expérience !

Une maison agréable a vivre, avec une histoire que l'on semble partager! Un coin de paradis pour une mise au vert totale avec ce qu'il faut pour partager des moments magiques en famille! Des hôtes avenants et de bon conseils. Merci je reviendrai a coup sûr.

Maison bien située mais vétuste et à la limite de la propreté

L'accueil des propriétaires est parfait et très chaleureux La maison est très bien située et au calme, avec une vue agréable, un environnement protégé et la rivière pour se baigner toute proche (+ les vélos mis à disposition par les propriétaires) Cependant, nous n'avons pas pu profiter du jardin car globalement en friche L'installation électrique est vétuste (conformité ?), le mobilier de la terrasse et du jardin sont très anciens Il y a tout le matériel nécessaire pour bien vivre mais vaisselle et batterie de cuisine, lampe, etc sont soit en mauvais état, soit sales ou les 2 Un grand coup de fraîcheur et un nettoyage dans la maison et le jardin sont nécessaires pour l'accueil des locataires

Effectivement la maison est une maison de campagne rustique, mais propre et entretenue. Ce n'est pas un hôtel 3 étoiles d'où le prix correspondant aux prestations proposées.

Parfait !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Au calme, reposant, le cadre est magnifique. La terrasse de la maison est très très agréable. Les plans de baignades sont vraiment à côté. Les propriétaires sont adorables.
