After a long tiring journey from the NE of Scotland it was a relief to find the bungalow so well equipped & clean with a cosy atmosphere in which we all immediately relaxed. A home from home with the addition of an aga cooker on which we had soon made ourselves some tea and toast spread with the lovely home made jelly Margaret had left for us. Being unable to greet us herself Margaret had sent along her son Jonnie to make sure all was ok for our arrival and he took the time to introduce us to the area, suggesting places to visit and even lending us his road atlas which proved invaluable.
Lisbellaw has a well stocked little village shop and is within easy reach of Enniskillen. A friendly town which has several nice eateries and places of interest to visit. In addition to the county of Fermanagh, on the advice of both Margaret and Jonnie, we visited some interesting and beautiful places on day trips to the counties of Donegal and Sligo. So many lovely places, Maghera caves & beach in Donegal, Glencar waterfall and Mullaghmore point in Sligo and Marble Arch Caves in Fermanagh to name a few.
During our stay nothing was too much trouble for Margaret who, with all the added little extras, certainly offers a friendly five star service.
