Great location family place

We have been here before. Too funny we got the same condo that our parents had over 10 years ago. The place hasn't changed much as it is family oriented and has a great pier next to it if you don't want to cook.

Great location, in need of new sofa and deodorizing

The location is perfect, very small for 4, but doable, however the fridge had a terrible odor even after buying 3 baking soda boxes for it, and the sofa had stuffing coming out of the back support cushions at the bottom. Seemed very worn, may consider a different fabric on the next one for renters directly on the beach. Otherwise great beach vacation spot

Short Vaca

My husband and I took a little trip together and this condo was perfect for us! It was just as described! Perfect for the 2 of us! Easy check in and out! We will definitely be back.

Nice place to stay. Great views of ocean. Like to set on balcony and watch thing happen.

Rent this property was easy. Pictures were what you got. The couch and chair look tired and need replaced. But would stay again.

July 4th weekend

First off let start by saying Mary at the front desk was awesome! We arrived a day early and even though she was clocking out for her shift, she stayed and called everyone possible to get us in our condo until she eventually was able to reach the owner and got is in. Secondly, the condo was exactly as pictured and described. Perfect location and ocean view. There was a weird smell upon arrival but nothing a little air freshener can't fix. Also, the bed was pretty uncomfortable but we didn't mind it too much and the shower was clogged but fixed immediately when I made them aware. We were a little bummed the fireworks were cancelled (one of the main reasons we decided to go to Daytona) but lucky for us, one of the other neighbors did fireworks and it was actually one of the best shows we have seen, and right on the beach!!! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! We also left a large beach umbrella, some beach chairs, and rollout bamboo blankets. ( didn't want to add extra luggage to check) so it's there for the next guest to enjoy! Thank you so much for having us!

Daytona Trip

Overall our trip here was great. When we first arrived, upon opening the door there was a strong chemical odor. It was very overpowering. It went away by the second day after leaving the fans and patio door open. In the main bedroom when I went to turn the light on (by the pull chain) the glass dome fell off. My 4yo daughter was hit on the face by it, as she was sitting on the bed, thankfully she was not hurt or cut. The pull out sofa is much more comfortable than the main bedroom bed. Bathroom is a little tight for 4 people, especially with small kids. The Condo itself was very conveniently located. We had beachfront access out of the side gate, and were able to go to the beach every day. My children loved that! The balcony on the side was also very refreshing. We got to watch the sunrise every morning. The condo was very well stocked with everything you could need for the kitchen. Extra bathroom & garbage bags were provided which was wonderful.

The room is just as it appears. Plenty of space, very clean, & a great view. Excellent restaurant on the Pier. I would definitely rent this room again

Nice Location

Right beside Crabby Joe's pier so lots of action! Nice unit, perfect size for a couple. Parking is at a premium, 1 car per unit and a few public parking spaces in the same lot.

Condo was great

First off I didn't get an email for checking in, I had to call on our drive down (I checked my spam daily but didn't find anything, once at the condo I received the email which told me about paper products and no blankets. I just wasn't happy because there were no hangers in the closet to hang our clothes, or a light blanket to use on the bed. I've stayed in 2 other condos at the Sunglow in previous years and never had to buy paper products for the condo, water was never real hot and internet reception was slow or none at times. The condo was very clean, and the bed didn't seem like it was not a queen it was small. The receptionist and people in hallways were very friendly.

Great location/Outdated Unit

We stay in Daytona Beach Shores every year & are very familiar with this area. Decided to take a chance on VRBO & rent a condo. We were a bit disappointed when we opened the door & found it smaller than the pictures portray and very outdated for this area. We dreaded going to sleep at night because the mattress was so hard, the couch/pull-out bed leaned forward, and bathroom was extremely small. We had cable issues for a few days, but it was fixed. A big problem was that it’s supposed to be non-smoking. Every time we came or left we could smell the stink on our floor...huge turn off. There also has obviously been pets in the building, as was evidenced by pet hair on outdoor mat. We gave it 3 stars because you can’t beat being right on the beach. Despite previous rant, unit was clean and front desk staff and maintenance very friendly. We’d stay at the complex again, just a different unit. We’ll give VRBO 5 stars for ease of use and follow up texts and emails.

Wonderful beach and pier view balcony for coffee or lunch, friendly staff, well equipped and clean. Rented bikes and could ride on beach...glorious sunrises.

Nice updated condo

Nice and clean, view of beach and over the pier, which was quite busy. Bedroom window right by elevator, which made late nite noise uncomfortable for sleeping.

Fantastic

This Unit was perfect! We had reservations for myrtle beach but because of the tropical storm that hit, we had to go some place else, so I literally booked this unit the night before we arrived. At first I felt a little uneasy because there were no reviews, but because everyone had their hopes of for a beach trip, I did what Mom's do and I didn't let my family of 4 down and so I booked this place. Terrific price! And they say you get what you pay for but this unit was over and beyond the price you pay. The ONLY complaint I have is there is no washer and dryer in the unit, but that is no surprise, as it tells you that in the info. There are washer and dryers on location, just not in this unit, so we already knew that! Great location, CLEAN, extremely friendly staff and comfortable room! HIGHLY recommend this place! And this unit is the one we stayed in! Very happy vacation!
