This cabin is lovely, and literally steps away from the Parkway & attractions. The owners are very sweet and even picked up at 11:30pm when we couldn’t figure out the lock. This place is perfect for your trip to Pigeon Forge!

The cabin needs some overall updates. Has some electrical issues with plugs that don't work and spark. Bathroom tubs have bad soap scum buildup, even had a huge blob of hair come out of one of the jetted tubs and the kitchen sink needs some serious scrubbing around the drain and garbage disposer. Also encountered a mouse. The hot tub cover needs to be replaced and alot of wood damage on the deck's didn't feel safe. .

I might suggest blankets for the beds, trash cans in the bathrooms, more than 1 roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms and someplace to hang a few clothes. There are no closets. Owner was prompt with an outside trash issue on arrival.

Pigeon Forge getaway

This cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. It was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the parkway but only a short drive to everything!! We absolutely loved The hot tub and private back porch!!! Only downfalls was there was no Wi-Fi and basic supplies for coffee but that was my bad for not reading the description closer. Our host was very responsive when I reached out. Would definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful cabin

We had an excellent stay at Lazy Bear Lodge. It was clean, and peacful. The parking isn't that great, but expected in a resort setting. Would reccomend and stay again.

Super close to the Parkway

It is a very nice cabin. It was clean but it needs a detailed clean. There were a few things that need repair. The worst for us was the tub/shower on the main floor. The water pressure and heat of the water was great the problem was a very slow drain. You are standing in water to your ankles. Not a huge issue but it was my biggest issue. I messaged the owner when we got there about a noisy loose ceiling fan and he replied immediately and said they would send maintenance the following week. Okay cool, I messaged him the following morning to let them know about the tub drain and no reply. It is a nice cabin just needs some actual TLC if they want it to stay that way and have people continue to rent it. We had a great vacation but will not book this cabin again.

Great mountain location close to attractions

This cabin is fantastic. It would easily serve two families or couples as the rooms are very private. The balconies are wonderful. The kitchen is equipped but plan to buy coffee spices and cooking supplies to bring along. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this cabin. Also the management team is phenomenal and quickly addressed our small issues.

Could be better but just ok

We arrived abort 10pm to find the cabin COLD. It was in the 20s outside, so we needed heat. We had to go buy a space heater because it took all night for the heat to work. "Downstairs" stayed cold so we used the space heater alot.Lighting was bad, no light in refrigerator, microwave and dim in bathroom. Dont plan to hang up clothes, no closet at all. Several of the pull-ons dont work.DO NOT PLAN FOR A FIREPLACE, DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. NO HEAT NO LIGHT NOTHING. YES THE PICTURES SHOW A FIREPLACE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.Downstairs door is uncovered, we had to cover the whole glass door.Bring your own supplies, soap dispenser empty upon arrival in bathrooms and kitchen, only 1 trash bag for kitchen, etcPros: its clean cabin, close to attractions

Beautiful cabin. And close to everything we love. Very clean and had everything we needed. Wished there was Wi-Fi and the TV in the living room was small. We will go back again. If you are looking for a nice and close place this is it.

5 Year Anniversary

I don't think we could have chosen a better cabin for our Anniversary. I spoke to the owner on Thursday evening about something that I was doing wrong. He and I talked for probably 20 minutes. He was currently on base in Norfolk when we were speaking. We frequently come to town just to get away, and I would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet time together.

Great Basic Rental in Pigeon Forge.

Great basic rental in proximity to all of the Pigeon Forge tourist attractions, and a 30-minute drive to Smoky Mountains National Park. Bring a hotspot if you'll need wifi, plus long changing cables for any electronics, as the outlets are not super close to the nightstands. Be sure to bring extra blankets for the beds. Having a washer and dryer was really convenient.

Stacy and I (Greg) both grew up and currently live in Dandridge, Tennessee, the second oldest town in Tennessee and just 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Greg is finishing his military career as a Major in the Air Force Reserve, following 12 years of active duty Air Force. Stacy works for the Department of Human Services for the State of Tennessee where she has been for 14 years. Together, Stacy and I have five sons (age 26, 23, 20, 16 and 15), a huge ( and I mean huge) rescue cat named "Zeus" and a wonderful mother/grandmother named Bette. Without her, we would never get anything accomplished.

We bought this cabin because we both grew up in this beautiful area, love it, and always wanted to own a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. This cabin is our dream come true. It is beautiful and cozy inside and located just minutes from the parkway in Pigeon Forge; yet, when here, you feel like you are secluded in the mountains. We hope our cabin can become your vacation dream getaway come true for you, your family, and friends for years to come.

We fell in love with this cabin because it is a true cabin. All wood walls and ceilings, there is no sheetrock in this beautiful cabin. Once you walk in the front door, you are welcomed by an open floor plan featuring a rustic cascade antler chandelier. Additionally, you will see a stone electric fireplace with hearth. We love to watch the wildlife (deer, turkey, squirrels, raccoon, and even the occasional black bear) from the decks while sitting in the swing, rocking in the rocking chairs or just relaxing in the hot tub.
