Beautiful property, great location and absolute gem of a host in Pearl. Only issue was not having the 2nd shower operational.

Luxurious accommodation in central location

Riverview is located within an easy walk of Clifden town and all restaurants, shops, bars etc. The apartment was spotlessly clean & the owner thoughtfully left a litre of milk & a slab butter in the fridge. Also a delicious homemade brown bread. All linen, towels, pillows & duvets were crisp, clean & of luxury quality. Additional extras were left for our use e.g., pump soap in both bathrooms; Fairy liquid at the kitchen sink: tea towels & kitchen towel: tea bags, a variety of herbal teas & a specialised coffee maker. Tin foil & cling film & plastic bags for rubbish disposal. So many wonderful thoughtful extras. Hot water always available as well as a power shower in the en suite. This is a top class apartment in a fabulous location. We highly recommend it. In fact we have already requested a booking for next year. Thanks to Connemara Lettings for once again arranging this great getaway for us :-))

Great location

Clifden is the heart of Connemara and Riverview apartment provides a comfortable base in an ideal location a couple of minutes stroll from the town centre. Great for enjoying the pub life in Clifden, with its lively music scene, and then having an easy walk home at the end of the night.

A truly wonderful place to stay, well appointed, central, yet quiet, good base to explore the area

We felt extremely lucky to find this apartment after having to change our previous booking at another Clifden apartment at a fairly late stage. We were made to feel totally at home by the owner, who was warm, friendly and supportive- including leaving home made bread, oranges, bottled water and butter on our arrival as well as offering local tips. We had one slight problem which was entirely our own fault and owner was there straight away. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and very airy. It is literally two minutes walk from a great café, bar and restaurant, and only 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Despite being so central it was very quiet. The apartment is a 2-3 minute drive to a Lidl and Aldi, as well as a local supermarket Clifden is a great base to explore but also contains wonderful range of restaurants, bars and art/crafty shops, everybody we meet was so friendly and warm. Would definitely come again to this apartment, I cannot praise it enough and totally recommend

Riverview apartment Clifden

My family and I had a lovely stay at the Riverview apartment, Clifden is a great base for exploring Connemara. The apartment is well equipped, the location and view are excellent, and the owner Pearl was very accommodating.

Lovely Stay

The unit was perfect. Great proximity to the center of it all, extremely clean, spacious enough for my husband and another couple. Would highly recommend a stay here and the home made bread from Pearl was sweet touch and delicious to snack on either late night or for breakfast.

Wonderful stay

Fabulous property in an excellent location in the heart of Clifden. Travelling with a baby, we had everything we needed in the property, it was spacious, clean and with all the amenities. Also had a very warm welcome from Pearl who was so kind to leave us some basic treats to start us off like homemade bread, butter milk and water which was greatly appreciated after our long journey. Highly recommend this property.

A perfect stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at River View. We were greeted on arrival by Pearl who left us with her homebaked bread and checked we were happy and comfortable with everything. Pearl made us very welcome and we felt at home straightaway. As there were only 2 of us we had plenty of space and a bathroom each! River View does indeed have a river view and out over the Connemara Pony showground and we were just a few minutes walk from the independent shops, cafes and bars of Clifden which were definitely worth a browse. The weather was perfect without a spot of rain so we did lots of exploring of the coast, islands and hills and watched the sunset from the patio outside River View. As the apartment had everything we needed and Pearl was so helpful we would be really pleased to stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful Apartment

We stayed in this apartment during the Clifden Arts Festival and everything about the apartment was excellent. Location was great, as we were in walking distance of everything. The apartment was spotless, the kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were so comfy, made our stay in Clifden very enjoyable. Would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

My stay at 8 riverview apparments Clifden on 23rd july 2017.

I booked this apartment for my daughter, husband, and 2 children under 3 yrs and my husband and I. When we arrived the owner hsd ,ill in the fridge, flowers in a vase ,Soda bread, and lovely bottled water. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. She came by one day with fresh homegrown tomatoes which was so kind, and the soda bread which the owner made was deliscous and I was amazed that she left so many welcoming items which is great after a long journey ,also milk and teabags,really like home from home. I booked it through Elaine and co at Connemara Lettings and they were excellent. A very big thank you to owner and Elaine at Connemara Lettings not forgetting Samantha .
