There are very few places to stay located on the Rocky Mountain Front. It is sparsely populated with plenty of wildlife viewing, including mule and white tail deer, elk, many varieties of birds, black and grizzly bear, chipmunks, rabbits and squirrels.
The Rocky Mountain Front Retreat is nestled between the Lewis and Clark National Forest and Bob Marshall Wilderness to the west and the Pine Butte Preserve and the Great Plains to the east.
